View 1 Replies View RelatedAny easier way of doing "letterpress" text effects in paint.net? At the moment I'm using 4 layers:
1: Background layer#404040
2: Round Rectangle layer #A0A0A0
3: Text 1 layer #000000
4: Text 2 layer #404040
Making the font size for Text 1 and Text 2 the same and then just slight shifting the position of Text 1 layer to give a tiny shadow.

I plan to make my own watermark accordingly.
Is there a puglin, or do I need to do it manually? If so, how?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've been using paint.net for a whole now to crop and make clear backgrounds on images and layer them with others. As of late I've decided to take on a more ambitious project: to make an animated gif of a starship using a tractor beam to drag an object into the center of a picture and then leave. I am in the process of searching the forums as how to make an animated gif, and I would like to know how to create a sort of tractor beam effect. It doesn't have to be realistic (as the images I'm using are slightly cartoonish), but enough to look like a blue beam of light is shining (but gradually getting weaker) onto an object.

I'm trying to make a pinch effect on my text image.

But I want to pinch it in the middle so it's kind of a horizontal hourglass. Like this:

I have PSP x14 on win7 64b. I would like to make a photo look like it's on a canvas so that it would show a depth of border along the top and down the nearest side. I have tried altering the perspective and adding narrow selected lenght from the top and side of the original photo but am still not getting the effect I am after.
View 2 Replies View RelatedHow to export an appearance like "metallic paint" in an xml style and then import it in another way. My real target is to have my RAL colours imported as paint.
If i import my styxml file with the style editor it imports me all the RAL like generic. Instead for example, "metallic paint" appearance has a lot of properties that regards paint.
I want to make a new file (by script) to import, that can add me all the RAL colours as painted ral. I don't find any import/export button.
(Anyway, why RAL colours are not inside the default libraries? Copyright issue?)

Question: Is there any better method? Any GIMP plugin or even Android app to solve this problem?
I can trace the deformed rectangle that enclose the page text, but then I don't know how to pass this info to the cage tool and ask to make it a real rectangle.
I paint for a long time with Photoshop. I always tried to set up my brushes so that the paint strokes look as realistic (for example like pencil or like acrylic brush strokes) as possible.
The problem is, when i Google for realistic brushes i always find only scanned brush/pencil strokes or scanned flowers and so on. But i need the brush settings to make the Photoshop brush behave like a pencil, marker or acrylic brush.
I am working on Dynamic Simulation. I ran the simulation for 4 secs, in real time it took more than 4secs but on the screen it was showing it ran for 4 secs. Is it correct? Can we edit settings to make it run for real time 4 secs?
