Paint.NET :: How To Make Pinch Effect On Text Image

But I want to pinch it in the middle so it's kind of a horizontal hourglass. Like this:
I need to change the size once I've 'pinched' it so I'd rather I was told how to do it.

May 7, 2013I am trying to find a way to watermark my photos using text for uploading to the net to try and prevent image theft. Canon Zoom Browser adds text but only 1 pic at a time.
I have searched this forum without success and searched the internet without success except for Alamoon which does one pic at a time ok but to do in batches requires you upgrade at a cost of about half the price of upgrading to PSP x5.
I read a comment by a subscriber here dated 2010 referring to PSP x3 but it said that after going to Image->Watermarking->Visible Watermark, you have to load a "pre-made image ..." Where do you get this pre-made image from ? Remember, I only want to add a couple of words of text. Surely this is not beyond the capabilities of Corel? Alamoon does it very easily. It doesn't take numerous windows and dozens of clicks with multiple layers to negotiate etc.

2: Round Rectangle layer #A0A0A0
3: Text 1 layer #000000

Making the font size for Text 1 and Text 2 the same and then just slight shifting the position of Text 1 layer to give a tiny shadow.

As of late I've decided to take on a more ambitious project: to make an animated gif of a starship using a tractor beam to drag an object into the center of a picture and then leave. I am in the process of searching the forums as how to make an animated gif, and I would like to know how to create a sort of tractor beam effect. It doesn't have to be realistic (as the images I'm using are slightly cartoonish), but enough to look like a blue beam of light is shining (but gradually getting weaker) onto an object.

Aug 7, 2013I'm using CS5, not that it really matter much for this question. I've used the same watermark for probably 5 or 6 years now. All I remember about creating it was that I did it while either reading or watching a tutorial on the subject. The reason that I love it is because is shows up very well no matter whether it is over a light image or a dark image. I have long since lost the tutorial and have spent the last day and a half looking at other tutorials with no luck. None of the ones that I tried work on both light and dark images.
Unfortunately, although I've been editing images for years, I do VERY little text and or font and or font effects work. That's why I'm a total loss about this thing. I will be attaching a jpg of my watermark duplicated with one placed on a white background and the other on a black background. Take note that this is the exact same watermark on both backgrounds. It isn't one that is special for dark and one that is special for light.
Steps that I need to make in order to duplicate this effect so that it looks exactly like this on both white and black surfaces? The font is "IMPACT".

Nov 9, 2011When I change the opacity on my text layer, the text does not fade. It disolves instead. The resolution was terrible, became worse and then the text suddenly dissapered.
I don't think it was the disolve type either when it is set in that mode. However,I tried changing the mode anyway
I changed the mode to normal, divide,. overlay, burn, soft light, subtract. Whatever I tried it made no difference.
