So essentially I'm trying to mimic the effect on the text here:URL.... (Don't know how easy or how hard it is to do it)I just can't get that 'sharp' 3D look, I've tried bevel selection, but it makes the text look more round (since there are no edges).
I came across a great effect in the new Picasa version called Neon. It´s just a color pick and a slider for transparency. how I can do that the same way in Paint.NET ?..
I was wondering if it was possible to give your text a 'glow' effect? I've fiddled around but haven't been able to get the result I'm looking for exactly.
I like to put some (small) text on a simple image to use it on the web, but the text looks blurry. I've tried all the anti-aliasing options, but none of them looks sharp. Pixelfonts do not seem to look any better. Is there any way to make small text look sharp in Photoshop, or should I use Illustrator e.g.? I'm just a beginner in PHotoshop and I have no clue how to solve this problem.
i regulary scan documents with text but find text looks muddy when printed .blocky edges .ive played around with unsharp mask but no joy. if i input text through photoshop 7 its nice and sharp yet scanned text remains poor .played around with scanner using different resolutions and input formats ie colour doc . line art etc tried abbyy finereader but waste of time (need graphics in background)
I have a friend still using PS 5.5, OK, OK it's me. How would I create a SHARP outline around text or anything else. I've tried outerglow, stroke and expanding the selection. The problem is, wherever the font or shape has a sharp or 90 degree angle, the outline rounds off at that point.
I know that Photoshop is not the premier pdf creation software. I do have InDesign as well, but I'm much more familiar and comfortable with Photoshop (I have the CC versions of both) so I prefer to use it as my design and layout tool.
However, when I save as a pdf the resultant pdf file is blurry for images and text, not horribly so, but not sharp and clear as I would like. My pdf files are for the web and emailing so I need to keep the file size in check, but even when I up the PS resolution to 300psi it still is not as clear as I would like. Still blurry.
What do you Photoshop experts out there do to produce the sharpest pdf possible? Is it even possible using Photoshop only or do you have to use InDesign or Acrobat Pro to get the clarity and shapness?
i'm using my corelphoto paint x3 for a year now and it is working fyn then on one occassion i don't know but while editing an image, i suddenly discovered that my effect tools, paint tools, clone tools wont work or wont make changes on the image i'm editing... i've already checked the menus and settings but still no work..i also tried reinstalling the program but still it's all the same..
There's a certain movie poster for Pink Floyd: The Wall. Here's that iconic image:I want an image of mine to look like the paint splatters like that. Attached is the regular image.
Text is allowed only on the outside of a rectangle shape. The text cursor disappears when I try to enter it into the rectangle and when I place it on the edge of the rectangle, it rurns into a slanted "A" and allows texting on the border of the rectangle. Corel Paint Shop Photo Pro X3 (build date Sept 7, 2010). This software came with my new HP Pavilion dv7.
I want to add a 3d effect to a drawing. I have attached a picture with the desired effect on a drawing -- look at the pants, it has like a square shadow. I want to know how to apply the same shadow/3D effect on my drawings.
After I import a .3ds model, then select the brush tool, the paint either seems to mirror itself on the model or paints the entire y axis. What is happening: If I dab my brush on the model a dot appears symmetrically on both sides of the model. If I use one small stroke the entire y axis on the model gets painted. However I have not found much discussion of the issue I'm having. Most of what I'm seeing says Import > Paint.I'm using Photoshop CC
I need to try and create a swish that looks like it was done with a pointed paintbrush. So it looks like the brush was pushed down at the start of the swish but towards the end the brush was lifted so the swish tapers out to a point.
In the image i have attached below, there is kind of a splattered paint effect in the background to the left, which is all very random with lines and different textures and stuff.
I'm new to this forum but I figured it would be the best place for some help.. there is one effect i love and was wondering how to do it for awhile but no luck.. which is the spilled paint/spraypaint effect. Any advice would help a lot -- I'm trying to create a paint effect to use as a background for an object like the turkuaz image.
I have been obsessed with this effect, but have never been able to manage it (at least not on pictures of me). Apparently it's not a secret, because people have figured it out, like in these two album covers I have attached. (Fallen by Evanescence and Burlesque) Now, I also realize it's possible that Photoshop may be the only program that can achieve this (with the masking tool maybe?) and Paint.net can't. I just need to know these things. It's difficult for me to attempt, how to phrase my question without photos.
What is the best way to create an angelic halo effect around a person's head. Any differences if you would want to make it look a little bit like the sun? (but more like a halo)?
I'm trying to get a certain effect like a photo I came across. You'll notice that around the edges of the photo it looks like it's crumbling away, or breaking away. That's the effect I am trying to get.
