May 27, 2011i'm using my corelphoto paint x3 for a year now and it is working fyn then on one occassion i don't know but while editing an image, i suddenly discovered that my effect tools, paint tools, clone tools wont work or wont make changes on the image i'm editing... i've already checked the menus and settings but still no work..i also tried reinstalling the program but still it's all the same..

I am learning to use Photoshop and doing well(ish) I thought, but am totally frustrated with this probably very simple process that I cannot get.
I have one word that I need to give the effect of a neon glow.
So far I have:
1. Filter
2. Artistic
3. Neon Glow
4. Now, when the Neon Glow (100%) window comes up, I cannot get anything to change or do a thing?
Please give me some direction from here.
My word is there, should it be selected? If so whith which tool? etc.

Apr 22, 2004if I apply the Neon Glow filter to a picture with a background, for example: red text on a black background, I get a really neat looking glowing effect around the edge of each letter. But when I try it on the same text on a transparent background, it doesn't work. Is there any way to get the letters to have a slight glow on transparent? Sep 1, 2013After I import a .3ds model, then select the brush tool, the paint either seems to mirror itself on the model or paints the entire y axis. What is happening: If I dab my brush on the model a dot appears symmetrically on both sides of the model. If I use one small stroke the entire y axis on the model gets painted. However I have not found much discussion of the issue I'm having. Most of what I'm seeing says Import > Paint.I'm using Photoshop CC
