I'm trying to create a neon sign for my RP site. I have the line art I want to use, I inverted it so its white on black, and after I use the Gaussian Blur I go to color curve. There is no Alpha selection and when I simply try to open the Alpha to Logo no options are available.
I know how to use text tool and different fonts there, but how do I add a 'cent' sign after a number? Like ten cents, but replace the word 'cents' with the cent symbol?
I'm trying to copy a little box, just changing the content from a tick to $ sign. I cannot change the original as it is an image from the web. How do I go about creating it from scratch with Gimp?
I need a white background, rounded corners, shadow and the dollar sgn "$" instead of the green tick
I have been fumbling around for a long time now trying to create a simple search box for my website, but I can only seem to create a free google site search which won't even work as google thinks its a robotic search.
Is there a way to create a local site search engine using the tools provided in this program?
I am using CorelDraw (X6) for a long time now. But I still found no way to create a border around my whole site without being interrupted by this border. I want the border to be in foreground so that images and colored rectangulars can overlap a little. So when I put it in the foreground I cannot select the other object behind it.I cannot select other rectangulars by clicking on their filling/background but only by clicking exactly on their border.
I want to merge (or whatever you guys call it in your graphical language) them all and create a single header for my new site. Giving it one color tone which is #456389.
For example i got the following header from a site and this guy has used 6-7 images to create one single header. Also see the images has one single color tone matching the color theme of that site.
how do I use the above 5 images to create one single header in Photoshop.
In the REVIT 2012 Basic Sample Project, the 3d view site has sides or an apron which conceals the building foundations and gives the site some mass. I have included an attachment with a 3D exterior view of the sample project and a project with a "Sideless" site. how the sides in the basic sample project are achived?
I'm trying to create a titleblock family that has an image or dwg of my site. The easy way to do this is save a new family and import a cad file or jpg of the site plan.
However, I'd like to avoid creating a new titleblock family for each project with a new imported site image.
I thought I would be able to just make the image's "Loaded from file" address an editable field that could be updated in the project info like all the other parameters, but it doesn't seem to be possible.

I have a number of Sites in my drawing. I want to be able to set a Site current (in LISP) so that when you create or draw a feature line, the site is set to the desired value. I haven't seen a variable or setting for this.
how to use Civil 3D to create a grading plan for a solar PV site or a golf course?
Here is the situation. We have a large 100 acre site that is not flat. We want to do minimal grading to "smooth out the surface". So that maximum slope on the site is 10%. The site does not have to be graded completely flat. We are trying to work with the existing contours and terrain as much as possible.
Is there some functiion or some way for Civil 3D to "smooth out a surface"? We want to work with the existing slopes and contours of the site and just need a grading plan that will smooth out mounds, holes, or high slope areas.
I am learning to use Photoshop and doing well(ish) I thought, but am totally frustrated with this probably very simple process that I cannot get.
I have one word that I need to give the effect of a neon glow.
So far I have:
1. Filter 2. Artistic 3. Neon Glow 4. Now, when the Neon Glow (100%) window comes up, I cannot get anything to change or do a thing? Please give me some direction from here.
My word is there, should it be selected? If so whith which tool? etc.
I have a major project to do. I'm doing a brochure for a client who is unable to provide high res stock photos (the manufacture refuses to give them out) of nean body kits for cars. My task is to create/emulate the look and feel of a TRUE neon body kit glow from below a car.
I've done one before for the web, but it did not turn out as great as I wanted. Before I dive in again I'd love some feedback on what everyone here thinks would be the best approach for this. What filters, techniques, reflections,
if I apply the Neon Glow filter to a picture with a background, for example: red text on a black background, I get a really neat looking glowing effect around the edge of each letter. But when I try it on the same text on a transparent background, it doesn't work. Is there any way to get the letters to have a slight glow on transparent? My goal was to create glowing text labels to be transparent .gifs for the menu on my website.
I came across a great effect in the new Picasa version called Neon. It´s just a color pick and a slider for transparency. how I can do that the same way in Paint.NET ?..
I have gone thru the spectrum and even used the eye dropper on images, but I can't get the colors to show up as obnoxious and nuclear as they look in images.
