I want to take three pictures and put them together on a particular background. I can't figure out how to change the sizes of the pictures. ( not the file size the literal size).
I want to create a collage of small pictures. I would like some of the pictures to be rotated, but not at 90 deg or 180 - at smaller angles off normal. I do not see how to rotate an image by a preselected angle, or rotate on the fly.
As a second question, for the pictures I want to make the background [usually a solid color, white] transparent so I can overlay one object with another.
How do I make just the background fully transparent, without affecting an object?
I am making a collage for a friend. I have all the pictures I want that I edited from photoshop and brought into illustator. I made an outline of a buffalo (he is from buffalo) using the pen tool. I filled it in with pictures but i need to know how to trim away the remainders of the pictures that go past the buffalo outline. Basically i need to delete everything that is outside the vector buffalo, but i am having a terrible time figuring this out. Im not sure if i need the trim away tool, draw inside or something else.
I have a small business doing canvas stretch pictures. A client of mine has asked me to do a collage of 27 photos and I used Shape Collage to do so. She wanted a collage with all the photos in a regulated format. That is Avg.Angle zero degrees, Max. Angle zero degrees, Offset X zero and Offset Y zero. After creating the collage I saved it as a PSd file. So Far So good. I then opened Gimp 2.8.4 and was quite confused as the latest program appearance is nothing like the tutorials and images on the net. However I was able to open the image of the collage by importing the psd file. I was also able to edit the photos and reposition them according to her wishes. I then saved the file as a psd. She wanted to see a jpeg copy of the collage as she does not have photoshop on her pc. In order to show her I had to flatten the psd and then save it in photoshop to a jpeg format. She now wants me to add one more photo to the existing collage.
I use a style library. Have it in a read-only mode in the ipj file. My drawing created a new template with a rev table with required columns.
Now, I create a new drawing file and choose this template. add few views, insert a rev table. The rev table columns headings are the same as in the template. But the column widths aren't same as in the template.
I use manage->update. It warns me that the drawing would be matched as per the style library. I agree & OK.
No use, the columns are not same size? Though the style is read only from the drawing, I go to open the style editor to check the column widths. They are different from the template.
I have stared to create a collage, after inserting some of the images, I saved the project and closed the program (x3). When I opened again the callage, all the inserted images was merged together and I can move only all of them together.
How can I separate the images so I will be able to move each of them separately in order to insert more images and change the order of them in the collage.
I have a method for converting a black and white image into instructions for folding a book into the image (URL...). To do this I count filled pixels by column if a zoomed in image. Is there a way to generate a count of filled and unfilled spaces in an image. This would speed up one of the more tedious parts of the process.
In Bill of material i have custom PartQty column and is beside QTY column. I need all informations from QTY column to PartQty column to copy. Possible with iLogic? I'm selecting now manualy copy and paste but it would be nice to have automatic.
I just started using photoshop again. I haven't used it properly since art classes a few years back and i've forgotten bits and pieces.
i could never make picture in this style of the attached one below quickly and whatever technique i had before i've forgotten so i want to know if anyone has a quick technique of turning normal pictures into this wicked pop-art flash style. I can tell it should be easy but extracting the layers of colour seems to be the hardest.
I'm trying to delete a middle column from a JPEG of a page of text columns without leaving a blank space where the column used to be. Viewing the page as three rectangles -- the rectangle to the left of the unwanted column, the rectangle containing the unwanted column, and the rectangle to the right of the unwanted column, I want to eliminate the middle rectangle and join the right rectangle directly to the left rectangle.
I am trying to publish to the CC a guide rail. The vendor of the rail gives me the option of entering the desired length of the rail. After that he gives me the option to choose between the length that I entered and a shorter and longer standard length witch can be delivered faster.
I want to do the same thing with my published part, but I cannot make a key parameter to change depending on the entered custom parameter. I want the user to make the next steps when inserting from the CC: 1- select the size of the rail; 2-select the type of the rail; 3- enter the desired length of the rail; 4- choose between the desired length and the 2 recommended lengths (I need these 3 lengths to be shown)
I have tried paint.net or anything similar. I am trying to make a banner for my website. I have managed to put a single picture onto a canvass and 2 pics side by side, but I would like one with 3/4 pics on it, 1 large at each end and 2 small in the middle. Is this possible with paint?
I made a custom sprite for a game called MapleStory. I'm trying to use fonts over my pic but I can't see them.. and yeah. I don't think when I type the font it even adds the effect of the font it's supposed to.
Here's a pic:
Also is there a way I can preview the pic before I save it? Can't seem to do that either.
I have two separate pictures with this I would like to make into one. I'd like to have the top of one meld seamlessly with the bottom of the other and how to accomplish this.
How to use X4 layer style? It seems so slow, What is your use case mostly? I can have it with vector object/text, ok, but sometimes, it is slow with raster layer.
I'm working on a Mod for civilization 5, we're resurrecting a good mod of which the Modder stopped several months ago. The artist of the mod made some images for some policies, and I need to make the images in his style, I know how he made the background but which effect did he applied the first layer?
how to recreate the ipod style ads similar to these on the ipop website? [URL] there are tutorials out there but all of them seems to use photoshop and i don't know how to use nor have the patience to learn how to use photoshop since i am already comfortable with PDN....
I'm studying design but I have some trouble with this simple thing. I don't know how to achieve this effect in the best and natural way possible.. Is that a brush? how do you call this shape/brush.
When I take a picture with the camera rotated to the right the pictures shows up in Windows explore with the picture top on the right. In X2 it also showed with the top on the right. In X3 and X5 the photo is shown with the top on the top, auto-rotated.
When I rotate the picture in X5 or maybe X2 counter clockwise the picture is now shown in Windows Explore correctly, top on top. But when viewed in X5 the picture now appears rotated to the left, the top on the left.
I have one drawing and now I will make an animated gif. How I can make 10 pictures from one picture (every one a little displaced) and than to make an animated gif with Paint.Net?
is there a good plugin/way to cartoonize pictures and nope I dont wanna use the oil painting effect because I don't wanna make it look like a oil painting with thousands of little paint dots.I'm rather aiming for a smooth surface.
Also is it what the above are meant to be like, obviously the middle one needs tidying up!! but its how they are meant to end up....professionally like the sky sunrise and the magazine one of several actors together...thats what I want to end up achieving, like the mag and the sunrise pic. :-)
Also does it work the same in photoshop....I ask as i have that, but find it incredibly difficult to use..(that said I found the above hard, but seem to have cracked )
