Maya :: Render Settings Window Opens Completely Blank?
Jan 31, 2012I've even tried the old open a new file, and import the file that has no render setting information, and that works maybe 10% of the time.

Maya :: 2014 - Render Settings Tabs Are Blank
Jan 22, 2014Just installed Extension for Maya 2014 SP 1.
When I open a fresh scene, load MR and go to Render Settings my Quality, Indirect Lighting and Options tabs are not working. Quality is minimised to the top left and the others are blank.
I've tried the following :
- Uninstalling Mental Core
- deleting all prefs, scripts etc
- deleteUI unifiedRenderGlobalsWindow; buildNewSceneUI;
Attached are what I see in each of the problem tabs and below is all output from the script editor as I open Maya, load mental ray and then click on each tab in turn.

Oct 18, 2012My render settings window will not appear. It used to, but then mysteriously stopped. how to get it back? I done the reboot thing but it never comes back.

Or something.Hit Render frame or even IPR (doesn't matter what renderer I use) and no render window pops up to chew on the image. I get a progress bar and the .IFF is saved in my project folder, but no render window. No error messages that I can see either, maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

Jun 30, 2011i have been working on this project in corel draw12 for several weeks now, as it is or/was coming to its final stages a few days ago it now only opens a blank page, it is 2.14 gb and it will get bigger as it reaches its final stages.i can still see it in preview. when it was opening it took a very long time to open i realise the reason for this is the size im using very high resolution images and designing and editing, or maybe there is another program that you may recommend that will support the size so i can complete my work.
i found a backup copy but it will not import the size is 1.70 gb seems its still too large to open ,
i don't think it has anything to do with memory , i have a full drive laptop is new. my thoughts are that corel draw will not open a file that size, and you are right about breaking it up i should have worked in several sheets but saved them desperately.

Apr 17, 2012Is it possible to render an object to fit exactly into the render window. i.e If I have a plane object segmented into 512 * 512 segments and I randomly colour each polygon. If I render at 512*512 pixels, I would like to fit the plane exactly so that the rendered image shows 1 pixel per polygon.
Whilst you can select region to render its not that exact and is based on the visual window. can it be utilized with render blowup.
Basically I want to render a square object exactly ( no borders) at a large resolution, hence the need for render blowup so that I can render into smaller tiles.

Illustrator :: CS6 - Opens In Window Too Small?
Nov 26, 2012Anytime I double-click on an Illustrator file to open it, the Illustrator CS6 window opens up too small to view the file. It comes up with an error message that says "Can't open the illustration. There is not enough room for the window; increase document area and try again."
If I then click on the box to expand the Illustrator window to full-size, then I can open the file. It's just frustrating that everytime I try to open an AI file by double-clicking on it, I get this error message.
Photoshop :: CC Opens Files At 100% But At 50% Window Size
Jul 23, 2013Since I updated to CC I've had a bug that drives me a little nuts. Because I have a Retina MacBook Pro connected to an Apple Thunderbolt display, Photoshop seems to get confused about the size of the window to open. It thinks it should be sized to fit on the Retina screen (which I use as secondary), but at 100% on the non-retina screen (the primary display).
The end result is that every time I open a document the window is only showing the top quarter of the document I'm opening. I always have to hit command plus, command minus to get it displaying right.

When selecting "Import", a new window opens which is a "Copy as DNG" which, during reading all tutorials, is never mentioned. I would like to just import directly from the source card to Macintosh HD. Also, "NO PHOTOS" shows as well.

Feb 1, 2013I just upgraded to windows 7 and now there is a blank preview window when I try to capture. I have tried capturing in both DV and DVD and no preview. I am capturing via firewire from a VHS. This worked perfectly under windows xp but is not working under 7. It seems that it does capture but I cannot preview in order to find my spot on the tape.

Jun 14, 2012I have a customer that sent me some Illustrator files (.ai) that, when I open them, they open with just a blank window and a box with no fill or stroke around the outside of the document. I am using Illustrator CS4 and I suspect this may be an Illustrator CS6 document but I didn't get any warnings when I opened it so I'm not sure. (I also don't know what version of Illustrator the original creator is using). The document sizes are large (35MB +) so there should be SOME content in them. I've tried making sure nothing is hidden and there are no layers that are turned off. I've also tried opening the files in Acrobat CS4 with no luck.

Oct 26, 2012I just transferred my Maya software over to a new Mac, It works normally except that the channel box shows nothing when an object is selected. If I click in the blank fields the values show up, but I cannot see the descriptions of what those values are for. I have tried the following: Dumping the prefs, reinstalling, contacting support (since it is a student license the y do not provide support, but did suggest the prefs idea), followed by deleting all Maya files and folders, library prefs and reinstalling from scratch. the result is the same. Nov 20, 2013I have been using Photoshop CS3 Extended for quiet a while without problems.Suddenly a blank registration window shows up whenever I need to use the program.Because I am unable to do anything with a blank window I cannot dispose of it and I cannot get past it to complete the startup process so I have to force quit the program.I have registered this version probably more than once so I can't imagine that to be a problem. I always use a partitioned drive with a full copy of the OS and applications installed on it.The same problem exists with that copy of Photoshop as well.
I am using an early Mac Pro with Snow Leopard.
I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled it from my original disc but the same problem still exists.How do I solve the problem of being "locked out" of the application as I am also locked out of work as well ?
Upgrading to a later version is not an option at this point.
VideoStudio :: Preview Window Remains Blank But Capture Is Successful
Aug 4, 2011I recently purchased VSP4 and when capturing from Panasonic camera via fire wire, the preview window remains blank but capture is successful. I can preview video on LCD screen of camera but that is all. All the settings seem to be ok. (PAL). However, the options panel is greyed out except for insert to timeline option. Also, the video properties in the options panel are all greyed out. I have a previous version VS3 on another computer which shows the preview window OK on capture. Could this be the integrated video card in my new computer or is there something else going on here?
