Lightroom :: Decrease File Size To More Than Half Of Original Size
Dec 6, 2013My picture’s original size was 108.2 MB in tiff. After I developed my photo in Lightroom and exported the new image, the file decrease to 50MB in tiff. Why did Lightroom decrease the file size to more than half the original size? Is there a way to increase the exportation file size to that I may develop a large size print?

I'm running on Windows home premium 64bit,
i have installed the Sony 64 bit printer driver.
When i print the photo, it prints to the size 4.31 x 3.12 on the 5x7 paper.

Mar 9, 2013When I'm looking at photos in my Library, I'd like to be able to sort them in terms of size.
A photo of 50 k is only of marginal interest for limited upload only. A photo of 15 mg is of great interest. The size tells me that it's at least moderately hi res and that there are probably a lot of pixels involved, and a good print can be made for publication or whatever. But I can't see a way to sort by image size. Is there a way? I'd like to separate a photo with a size of 720 X 480 from a photo with a size of 100 X 75.

how do i do this? everything i try makes the output file about 24k in size.
the reason i am doing this is the forum i regularly post on has a max avatar size of 6k.

AutoCad :: Ellipse Size - Determine Size Of Spar Hole For Airplane Wing
Dec 17, 2011I have more of a geometry question, rather than CAD question. I need to determine the size of a spar hole for an airplane wing. The wing will be cut out of foam with a hot wire. There is a round spar hole in the wing that runs from the root to the tip on each wing half. A carbon fiber rod goes through it. Seems easy, but the wing is swept back 35 degrees, so round hole will actually be an ellipse is when it exits the root and tip. The hole needs to be 5mm. The ellipse will be 5mm tall, but how do I figure out how wide?

AutoCAD Print / Plot :: Size PDFs That Are Not Full Or Half Size
Feb 17, 2011Our supplier sent us some wierd size pdfs that are not full size or half size. I am trying to resize them to full size pdfs (Arch D) but am unable to figure this out in Acrobat.
My work-around is to insert them in AutoCAD and scale them based on known dimensions, then print to pdf. Unfortunately the resulting file is collosal and the quality degraded.

Dec 22, 2012I'm trying the trial version of Photoshop CS6, and I'm wondering whether or not it's possible to change the length of a shape with the amount of text entered into it, with the text still being editable? For example, if I had typed in 'hello', the size of the shape should be just big enough for the text to fit inside, without me having to change anything. On the other hand, if I typed in 'good morning', would I be able to make it so the size of the shape would change for the text to fit without having to use the transform tool?
I'm trying to make annotations for a video, and it would be annoying to have to transform to the correct measurements every single time.

Feb 16, 2008I really can't believe that it is not possible in Corel Draw.
1) How to define size of object, for example rectangle before I actually draw first time the custom shape of the rectangle? So far I draw any rectangle and then change the size which is not professional way I guess, because it causes many problems. (like for example I cant change ratioif it is going to be rectangle with rounded corners)
2) Very often in my work I need to change % size of my artwork or object because a client wants to have something 80% size or 20% smaller. I found it impossible to do because CorelDraw keeps remember all % transformations since original size was created. Now, provided that my 1) problem has no solution we end up in such a situation:
- my first rectangle is always NOT in correct, precise size
- when I amend the size it has a correct size but already has different than 100% value.
- Corel Draw forces me to choose: 100% value and not precise size or correct size and for example 113,9%
I completely don't understand what for is the feature that remembers the original size, it's not so needed in practice especially that IT IS A VALUE BASED ON ALWAYS WRONG INITIAL SIZE. Is it so difficult to place a button next to % value called RESET to 100%? (without going back to initial size of course) I know there are tricks for exampleto group the object temporary with other object but it is not a proper way, is it?

Photoshop :: Image Size Related To Print Size
Jan 9, 2003I'm using Photoshop 7. I create a new document 8.5 x 11 inches at 150 pixels per inch.
I draw a circle 1" from the top of the image. The circle is 3" in radius.
When I print the circle is nearly .25" smaller in radius and slightly less than 1" from the top.
Why is the output not in the same placement and proportions as the image on the screen?

May 14, 2003Can someone please explain to me about file sizes and image dimensions. I have to put together a collage which is 165mm high by 258mm wide. If I click file new and choose default resolution (72) then the file size is ok, if I type in 300 dpi the image becomes huge.
If i chosse 300 dpi then the images I was going to use seem tiny on such a vast workspace - Im confused why does the canvas become so large when changing resolution?
