After you finish one step, of lets say three pieces put together, and you go to the next step those pieces are like grayed / shaded out and you know to build the next pieces in what position etc..
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhile working on a complicated project involving copying and pasting into PSCS4 from several applications I received this error and Photoshop closed down with loss of my work.
I'm in Windows XP Pro SP3 and using a workstation with 2GB of error correcting memory. I had no such problems in PS3 and other applications work fine.
In LR4 print module the print and print one tabs are greyed out and I can't reset.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI wanted to create an A4 borderless print in my canon mg6150 from within the print module. I can do a borderless print using the canon easyprint.
I go into page setup and the properties of my printer and set the page layout to borderless and click OK.
However, I am unable to set the margins to zero. When I go back into my page setup and check the page layout, it has reverted to normal so it has ignored my setting.
All was working OK and the printer is showing ink cartridges almost full In the Library Module the print review is fine.
Switch to Print Module and the print review is now blank (100% white)

I have just bought and installed Lightroom 5 and need to set my print size to A3 and in the future even bigger. I do not have the facility at home and need to have them sized correctly for the print shop so they do not have to waste time resizing them. I am at a loss how to do this. I cant find any settings for this size print. A3 is roughly 42 x 29.7 cm.

View 1 Replies View RelatedHow to ADD (almost) white Border around photo(s) to print in print module (not for creating a JPEG) WITHOUT TRIMMING the photo?
I dont understand why I'm so stupid not to be able to acheeve this simple task with Lightroom WITHOUT TRIMMING the image (altering it's proportion and cutting away photo-content)
(on light-gray backgrownd for instance, to use as cutting indications. I know how to use cutting-indications for images i print without a border)
(i do not whant to use workarounds, the kind of preparing "identity plates", a new one each for infinite variations of proportions to use as fullblown-up backgrounds..)
How do I get my photos printed? I select a photo but I get the maessage that no photo was selected.

I am trying to print on 5x7 paper. I set the page setup to 5x7. I have the margins set to .2" on each side. The layout image inside Lr looks exactly how I want it to.Then I print. I end up with a .125" margin on the left and top, and a .625" margin on the right and bottom.
It seems that, no matter how many times i save and update the profile, all the print setting (image size, sharpening, bit depth, color management, ...) are store within the preset, all but the Epson Driver settings, which have to be selected every single time.
I really can't remember if this bug was present in 4.0 or not (I'm currently running 4.1 RC), but I'm quite sure it was working OK under 3.x. Here's the thing.
I configure the printing settings and create. a profile: Profile1.I change all the settings and create a second profile: Profile2. The "Print Settings" settings are different, same printer, one for Color (Profile1), one for Advanced B&W (Profile2).I click on Profile1 (which was created with color Print Settings). Clicking on "Print Settings" or "Print", the printer settings selected under the epson driver is the ABW one (the one that belongs to Profile2).I reselect the correct setting from "Print Settings..." (Color).Click "Save" again.Righ-t click on Profile1 -> Update with current Settings. Setting seems to be saved.I then click on Profile2 and bam! The "Print Settings..." seems to be rverted to color instead of ABW.Update the correct settings, back to point #3
Can you reproduce this? This behavior is vanishig the power of the "Print One" button, unless you constantly print with tha same Driver settings.

How do I batch print several exposures at one time that differ in orientation (Landscape, Portrait) or print size (4X6 - 8 X10) or both orientation and print size? I currently have Lightroom 2.3 installed on a XP SP3 machine.
I have been unable to find any documentation on this subject.
My "Print One" button in the Print Module of LR3 is not activated. What is amiss and how do I reactivate the button?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI set up a print package in lightroom v4.1 and adjusted the image in the cell to fit properly, however when I try to print to file the resulting file moves the crop to cut off the top of my subject's head. It seems that I can get around this by intentionally moving the image so that it appears to cut off her head, then when it prints it looks correct (the adjustments im doing are moving backwards?). This works for now but I have no specific control over my crop, I just have to guess and check which does not work for large quantities of images
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to print a 16" x 20" photo through Lightroom's print module. I am using an Epson 3880 printer and 17" x 22" paper. I have done this in Lightroom 4 with no problems. Now I am getting a print that is 16-3/8" x 20-1/2". I have the cell size set at 16" x 20" and borderless printing is turned off. I also checked zoomed to fill. This has also happened on a couple of 12" x 18" photos.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWas printing 4x6" from LR 5.3 fine. To an Epson 3880. Then went to Page Settings (MAC) changed paper size to 8.5x11". The preview responded with a larger page. I scaled the image up to 8x10 via lightroom cell size. But when I printed to the Letter size paper, LR printed only a close to 4x6" top left corner. This was not a full image like the 4x6. It was just a corner.
Exported to PS and printed fine. Can not figure why the print will not print the full image?
I get a pop up of "Save Files To Folder", but no file names are present, so "save" does nothing. I have all the boxes checked in Print Job, e.g. print to Jpeg file. I have searched, re-read Kelby etc. and come up blank. I have a profile entered for a custom lab.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to print a JPG from the Print module in LR 3.6 (and tried it also with 3.5), it does not always recognize the resolution settings. Most of the time (and I can't see what makes the difference) it prints the JPG to a 96 ppi resolution regardless of what setting I use for resolution.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to print a test print before I print a 13 x 38 panorama. I don't know yet if anything will print as I want, but here's what I've spent time thrashing on with this print:
Mac os 10.8.4, latest Epson drivers, Epson 3880. I've got this set up as a custom paper size, and it's in the rear paper slot, since it's a heavy fine art paper. Color managment is using a custom profile I made. When I click "Printer," then do the setup, then click "print," I get progress in the upper left that says "Rendering..." Then the printer driver briefly pops up in the dock, then disappears. The paper is loaded, and the printer sits there saying "ready." It's connected and online, and I can see the ink levels in it.
If I try to print a PDF from the same print dialog, I get a pdf that looks as it should. If I print to a jpg instead of to Printer in the Print Job settings, I get a jpg that seems as it should.
I was just printing to LR 4 using these same settings the other day.Yes, I have reselected the printer in the drop down menu.
My LR5.3 is offering me a max size print of 8x10. I need to print at 13x19. It think I have an Epson c-r.
I have an Epson Stylus Photo 1400. How to I get it to recognize my printer?
I've been using Photoshop for over 15 years and Lightroom since it first came out. I haven't done much printing, but with my new printer, I want to print more and be able to print with confidence.
I recently got an Epson R3000 printer. I did a couple test prints. Colour management was set to the paper type in both Lightroom 4.3 and Photoshop CS6. Printer colour management was off. Perceptual was used in both. LR printed the model's skin magenta. Photoshop printed the model's skin perfectly. I've been avoiding printing in Lightroom because of similar issues in the past. Aren't the print engines the same? Shouldn't I be able to get prints as good as in Photoshop with Lightroom? I do 90% of my photo editing in Lightroom and would like to be able to print from it, but alas I can't because the colours are off despite using the paper profile,...
I am trying to print 17x22 prints. For some reason-- first time this has happened, the epson 3880 printer is only printing the center 8 1/2 x 11 portion of the image, leaving the outside blank. It is not magnifying the center, just not printing the outside portion of the image. I have set the paper to 17x22, and tried two different photos. I am going CRAZY. what is causing this?

I am trying to print a jpg to file in LR4. All the settings in the print module seem to be correct an I have done this before. I am print (to file) a 20X16 print at at 240 ppi sharpening = standard paper = glossy jpg quality = 100% . Printing to a Costco profile and intent = perceptual.
When I click print (to desktop) process bar comes up and very quickly progresses. The "print" appears on the desktop as an icon and not a thumbnail. It will not open. When I look at the file info: it is 15,763,189 bytes and has a dimension of 0 x 0 (?).I have tried this with several different files and get the same result.
I've downloaded Lightroom for a trial because I need better tools for my pictures. The interface for lightroom is very different and finding it a little difficult to move around and do things.
I've created a print job - a collage that I saved to a jpeg file - but every time I go to print it is still there. How do I get rid of it?
I just downloaded and installed LR5 successfully to my iMac (2012) running OS 10.8.4. Everything seems to be working fine (LR4 catalog converted, Import works fine, etc.) EXCEPT printing to the same HP printer I use with LR4. When I press the Print button after setting things up, the bar on the upper left corner proceeds quickly, the message Task Completed appears (and goes away quickly), BUT...nothing happens on the printer. It just does not get the print job sent to it. The iMac reports that the printer is Idle, there is no record of a job being received.
I checked the printer, it works fine. I can print from Photoshop without a gltch. So, comunication between the computer and the printer does not seem to be the issue.
i don't do much printing through lightroom but yesterday went to print a contact type document and the application would constantly quit as soon as i hit 'print'. it does this whether i print by hitting 'print' directly or whether i go through the printer dialog box and then hit print.
