Lightroom :: Internal Error - Assertion Failed / When Exporting Via LR4
Mar 7, 2012I've never had problems doing this with Lightroom 3, just upgraded to Lightroom 4 and I can't seem to export anything. I also can't publish either.

View 9 RepliesAfter upgrading to 3.5 from 3.4.1 I received this error when attempting to publish new photos to my harddisk. First I thought the problem may be related to access rights. I am running Win7, 64 bit. So I reset the read/write rights in the export folder and the LR catalogue and AppData folders. No success. Then I opened a new cataloge and imported the old one in order to start "from scratch" - no success, publishing collections were not importet. Finally I switched back to version 3.4.1, and ... it works again
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have Lightroom 4 and as soon as I click to open the lightroom 4 application and message box pops up saying "assertion failed!" and then it doesn'tt open the program. I was working earlier but then my laptop has a bad battery and when I was editing in lightroom 4 my laptop shut off without warning (same thing as just pulling the power cable out of the outlet of a desktop when its on without shutting it off first). But anyways I have windows 7 and so I can get back to work. I was also hoping that I could fix this issue without erasing all the editing I did and all the pictures I have in lightroom.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSince some days, when exporting pictures, an internal error warning occurs opun the screen and says: Win 32 API error2 (System cannot find the Data) when calling ShellExecuteExW from AgWorkspace.shellExecute
But - the export works...
How can i stop LR4 displaying this warning?
I was making a web layout in Photoshop to use in Dreamweaver. (It is really just for a test to see how dreamweaver works...) Well, I had everything in the web layout sliced up correctly and when I tried to "save for web" it gave me this message...
''Could not complete this operation because an assertion has failed''
I am not running any .net apps that are noit Autodesk's own and loaded by Autodesk without my direct request. I took a snapshot of the error window and then I tried the Retry option. AutoCAD C3D halted (crashed). I suspect Abort or Ignore would have done the same but idk.

All of a sudden my ImageReady won't open and instead I get this "Could not fully start the application because an assertion has failed" message. I have tried reinstalling photoshop, but no luck. Can anyone help me with this?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI just tried to open LR4. It opened, but then a screen with "An internal error has occurred" and a long string of words and symbols is in the middle and LR is frozen. I did a force quit and reopened to the some thing.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to synchronize "Noise reduction" settings on a set of 952 photos (which are actually smart previews), using LR 5.2, and after I click apply I get the following error:
An internal error has occurred: <AgErrorID>10003</AgErrorID>
I have tried with only 3 photos selected and it worked fine. But it seems LR is not properly handling the large number of photos.
In Library module/Folders right click and show parent folder I get the following error
An Internal error has occured: Database .. columns rootFolder, pathFromRoot are not unique
Statement: UPDATE AgLibraryFolder SET rootFolder = ? WHERE id_local = ?;
This error occurs on all folders that I have checked.
I have tried to open lightroom and perform an integrity check which did not report any errors.
Yes, I do backup the catalogue but when this problem developed...
This problem started yesterday after I moved some of my library to an external hard drive. I created a new catalog and moved the photos within lightroom. I don't know if the move of photos caused the error or not. Now whenever I try to delete rejected photos, I get the following error message:
Database "/Users/mollynordin/Pictures/Lightroom/Lightroom 4 Catalog.lrcat": PreviewDataObservers_DevSettingsDeletions.devSettingsDigest may not be NULL Statement:
DELETE FROM Adobe_imageDevelopSettings WHERE id_local = ?;
LR4.3
New catalogue created 2nd Jan 2013 - less than 300 images

30 image files imported
One user preset run with import.
all imports selected in library then autotone applied in quick develop
change to develop module
start to edit - crop -
error: "An internal error has occurred! DB statement finalized twice "
Now can change module, click on folders etc, but no images are displayed.
No disk activity
LR displays "Loading ... " in centre pane
Closed LR without other errors displayed.
Now cannot restart LR - click on icon and brief hourglass, then nothing.
task manager shows two instanced of lightrrom.exe as running, one at 830K and another at 2.3K
Kill these tasks & restart lightroom. Catalogue does not show most recent import.
Close lightroom - still shows "phantom" lightroom.exe in task manager.
I have installed PS CC without any problem, but when trying to install Lightroom5 on my Mac, I get the following message:
ERROR: DW006: Apple Package failed to install successfully.
ERROR: Third party payload installer Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.pkg failed with exit code: 1
Just tried to import file sinto a brand new LR Catalog when I got this message...here's the entire error message: "An unknown error has occurred while reading the video file. Connecting to Dynamic Link server failed. (98)" Connecting to Dynamic Link Server Failed
this was then followed by a list of files of these types:

I just signed up to the PhotoShop & Lightroom Cloud. Photoshop installed OK But Lightroom fails to instal. It give 2 errors:

I am trying to instal on a Macbook Pro 2010 running OS-X 10.6.8 with 8 GB of RAM and 535 GB of free hard disk space. I have tried the installation process twice to no avail. Currently running version 4.4 of Lightroom without a hitch.
Lightroom 4 doesn´t show video files from my Nikon D5000.
It crashes: Load Library failed with error 126: Das angegebene Modul wurde nicht gefunden.
I have WIN7 64bit.

When I attempt to export a group of approximately 50 photos from LR4, a window opens at the end of the process saying "The file could not be written" along with a list of approximately 10-15 NEF file names. I have never had a problem exporting before, but I recently started storing my LR catalog and files on an external USB 3.0 drive.
Here are the details:LR4 with latest updatesWin 7 with latest updatesLR catalog and photo files stored on external USB 3.0 G: driveTrying to export to a folder on my desktop on C: drive (46GB free out of 134GB, solid state drive)LR files are NEF, exported files are JPGI've tried to export to the same group of photos multiple times with different names and different output file sizes (8MB, 5MB, 2MB). Each time the list of failures is different.Some of the thumbnails which appear in Windows Explorer are corrupted (part of the thumbnail is gray)When I try to export the same group of photos to the external USB 3.0, it works perfectly!
Here is an example of one of the LR log files:

My Lightroom has unexpectedly stopped exporting files. Nothing that I am aware of has changed--I haven't changed cameras or added new software. No error message comes up, it just does nothing after the Export dialog box.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought Adobe CC 5 days ago and everything worked fine. When i continued to work on a project i started 3 days ago AE suddenly crashed and I got this error:
After Effects Error: internal verification failure! {Plugin ID is invalid}
I don't know why this happened but now i can't open any projects any more and if i start a new one and create a new comp i get the same message and after effects crashes again. In my last project I was mainly using the keylight and liquify plugin and a bunch of masks...

I've recently encounterd a problem while trying to export images out of Lightroom 4. I keep getting an error messge "File canot be written." This is happening whether I'm exporting a Jpeg or a raw file. Cannot figure what has happend but it's doing it with old and new files, so it's not an issue of a corrupted file.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI keep getting this message when opening an assembly;
Internal error in persistence operation (Can't load segment PmResultSegment via a RSeRef when loading segment PmDCSegment)
The solution is to find the corrupted part and restore it.
My problem is that the assembly (and 5 subassemblies) consists of over 150 parts, which is way to many to just start recreating parts at random...
Is there a way to pin-point which parts ruins my model ?
we have some styles to import into our drawings and when we try to import them, we get
INTERNAL ERROR: !dbobji.cpp@8749: eNotOpenForWrite
We don't have a functional work around for this yet. We're using C3D 2014 (IDSP). We can get this error importing styles into some existing CAD files, but not all. We can create a brand new, blank drawing and attempting to import these styles will cause the error. The error occurs during the 'verifying imported styles' progress bar in the lower left.
We thought we were getting somewhere when we exported to dwg 2013 format and opened that and we could then import styles with no issue. Unfortunately, in exporting to dwg 2013 format, we lose all of our surface and point data. Doing a saveas to 2013 apparently does nothing more than just save the drawing and that will still not allow importing of styles.
how to get our style templates to successfully import into all of our CAD files.
This is happening in both Map 3D 2011 and Civil 3D 2011 directly on startup and I can seem to get a straight answer as to what is causing this, or how to fix it. The automatic response was to download a fix for the language pack, but that didnt work. Standard AutoCAD 2011 works without any issues, same with ecotect.
Ive already uninstalled and re-installed both of the problem programs.
Im running Win 7 Pro 64-bit.
AutoCadLT 13 won't open, internal error codes 2738, won't reinstall or repair or uninstall and it started with the new service pack update.
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust installed 2012 Pro last week and tried to run FEA today. Everything else is running fine. Started with existing model and had this error. Went to a simple part with rectangle sketch 6x1x.125thk and still receive error. Found multiple issues with mesher errors in forum. So I removed all Autodesk products, cleaned registry, turned off antivirus and reinstalled software and SP1 and still receive error.

Could not complete your request the internal file signature is incorrect.
The dubious grammar doesn't bother me so much as the fact that the Creative Cloud window tells me that I'm up to date. I don't know how to get a new download to replace the bad one I probably have.Oddly, the 32 bit version of CC works fine. 5.1 still works, too.
I have tried to install Corel 12 to Windows 7 (x64). Corel 12 refuses to install himself reporting "Internal Error 2738". I tried to solve this problem by re-registering vbscript (recommended for Windows Vista), but with no effect.
