AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Assertion Failed - Removing Something That Wasn't Added?

I am not running any .net apps that are noit Autodesk's own and loaded by Autodesk without my direct request. I took a snapshot of the error window and then I tried the Retry option. AutoCAD C3D halted (crashed). I suspect Abort or Ignore would have done the same but idk.

I have Lightroom 4 and as soon as I click to open the lightroom 4 application and message box pops up saying "assertion failed!" and then it doesn'tt open the program. I was working earlier but then my laptop has a bad battery and when I was editing in lightroom 4 my laptop shut off without warning (same thing as just pulling the power cable out of the outlet of a desktop when its on without shutting it off first). But anyways I have windows 7 and so I can get back to work. I was also hoping that I could fix this issue without erasing all the editing I did and all the pictures I have in lightroom.

I was making a web layout in Photoshop to use in Dreamweaver. (It is really just for a test to see how dreamweaver works...) Well, I had everything in the web layout sliced up correctly and when I tried to "save for web" it gave me this message...

I've never had problems doing this with Lightroom 3, just upgraded to Lightroom 4 and I can't seem to export anything. I also can't publish either.

After upgrading to 3.5 from 3.4.1 I received this error when attempting to publish new photos to my harddisk. First I thought the problem may be related to access rights. I am running Win7, 64 bit. So I reset the read/write rights in the export folder and the LR catalogue and AppData folders. No success. Then I opened a new cataloge and imported the old one in order to start "from scratch" - no success, publishing collections were not importet. Finally I switched back to version 3.4.1, and ... it works again

All of a sudden my ImageReady won't open and instead I get this "Could not fully start the application because an assertion has failed" message. I have tried reinstalling photoshop, but no luck. Can anyone help me with this?

I am using a breakline to establish contours around the foundation of a building. I've done this in the past with no problems. Now I'm getting an Event Viewer, Error message saying that the breakline wasn't added to the surface because it crossed a point or crossed another breakline. In one case there wasn't another breakline in the drawing.
I've used 3d polylines & others to establish the breaklines.

After adding 9 or so breaklines, the display of my surface (e.g. contours) disappears when I add the next breakline. Based on the surface elevation shown at the pointer location, the breakline seems to have been added and the surface rebuilt.

I added three feature lines to my surface as breaklines. But the triangles still cross them. Triangles shouldn't be crossing breaklines.

I can only change the layer color.
But I can't change the cross simbol, its drwaing scale.
Also cant view the point number,....
Maybe I cant view or set these properties when points were added using "Point Files" option.??

I know that there is a limitation on the numbers of points added to a surface from a point cloud. But I'm curious how Civil 3D determines which points to exclude from the surface. Is there a special alorithm/criteria the software uses?

I am tried to open the following svg in the illustrator but it was not scaled the stroke-width of the text, even I have changed the units into px. And its kinda merged svg from both illustrator and inkscape generated svgs.

When attempting to attach WMS data, Map Task Pane>Display Manager Tab>Data>Data Connect dialog>Data Connections by provider.
After entering the server name or URL and choosing "connect" I get the following errors:
"Failed to open FDO connection"
"The HTTP request URI was not found by the server"
It seems to work just fine for other users using the same steps.

The Straighten method seems to always default to the first vertex of the polylne, which is great if you want to start there but what if you wanted to delete the 10th to 15th vertex? Is this even possible using PEDIT Tools (it is very possible using the WEEDFEATURES method)

Not sure what has happens but the dtat shortcuts for the surfaces in this jb now appear twice in the list of data shortcuts the look at the same file ,etc how can I remove these double ups. I tried the Data reference editor there is no delete button. Can I manually edit the xml file?

I have created a corridor using shoulder extend all sub-assembly, I dont want the foreslope daylight slope to appear in my crossections I have noticed that this label appears only if pave 1 depth is filled. I have tried to turn off label for pave, and top code in code set styles but if i dothis it turn of all pavement grade labels. Is there any other way to diable this label?
currently i have to set 0 to pave 1 depth for the label not to appear. Am using c3d 2012 sp1.

I am trying to clear out all pvis in a profile, code is:
while (profUse.PVIs.Count > 0) { profUse.PVIs.RemoveAt(profUse.PVIs.Count - 1);}
seems like its the right approach, you cannot set the pvis collection to a new collection.
It catches every time though, does not matter how many pvis in the profile.
Seems I need some education on what you are alowed to do with pvi collections.

Any way to remove the .dst listings in the "Recent Documents" list on the "File" pulldown? We use Civil 3D mostly with dwg files and they are usually pushed off the list because of Sheet Set Manager files. Some of these dst's haven't been opened in weeks? But there still at the top of the list....very unproductive when you have to go searching for a dwg file you were just working on.....

I recently upgraded to Civil 3D 2013. I am regularly crashing when I pick objects, usualy in the erase command, then type "r" to remove some of the objects. After I've picked the objects to remove and hit enter I get a fatal error. This is happening in several different drawings so I don't think it's drawing specific. Today it happened with the stretch command. I'm not sure if it's happening everytime I remove objects but if not it's quite often. A co-worker said he has noticed the same thing.

I am manually editing my section geometry by moving the grips and am wanting to remove some of the additional vertices that I don't need in a certain area. How to delete extra points? I can't seem to find a way to do this either graphically or in the Section Editor. I am using C3D 2010.

I had some inaccurate survey points in my EG. Now I have new points and breaklines. How to locate thes old breaklines either within the list or visually within my surface editing / style.
The zoom to doesn't work as there are many breaklines within the zoom extents, and 1000's of breaklines to sift through. Is there a setting somewhere in the surface where i can turn on the breaklines that have been added already to something that's visible so i can delete those out of my surface?
I'm looking for anything on this one. (Not the obvious answers thought). Delete all and replace all (not happening).

Is there a way to remove the extra (In) and (out) invert elevation from my labels? If the IN or OUT (I.E.) is the same there is no need to label them twice. So, can I remove them? If you can remove them, how do you do it?

I go to erase a line or a piece of text or block, doesn't seem to matter really. Anyways I select one too many items so I hit "r" for remove and select the item to remove and bam, I fatal error, civil 3D shuts down, asks if I'd like to save the file and then also submits an error report to the great unknown.
Civil 3D 2013, on 64 bit Windows 7 with all updates.

I have projected objects to multiple section views (ProjectObjectsToMultiSect) but now I want to remove them all. How do I remove all of the projected objects?
I can select an individual section view and go to the Projections tab in the Section View Properties and uncheck the projections, but how do I do this for all the views at once.
