Since some days, when exporting pictures, an internal error warning occurs opun the screen and says: Win 32 API error2 (System cannot find the Data) when calling ShellExecuteExW from AgWorkspace.shellExecute
But - the export works...
How can i stop LR4 displaying this warning?
I've never had problems doing this with Lightroom 3, just upgraded to Lightroom 4 and I can't seem to export anything. I also can't publish either.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have lightroom 3.6 on a Mac running OS 10.6. I am in the process of moving my picture library from the internal drive to an external drive because my internal drive is very full. I plan to have the LR catalog remain on the internal drive as others have suggested LR will run faster if the catalog remains on the internal drive.
I initiated the move process within the LR library, by selecting all photos within about 150 folders inside a master "my photos" folder on the internal hard drive displayed in the library module of LR. I then dragged them into the new "my photos" folder I created on the external drive which was displaying inside the LR library module.
First question, this moving process is progressing so slowly, at a rate of about one picture every second. is this normal?
Second question: When I open the external drive by clicking on the drive itself, outside LR, it seems the pictures are flowing in without any of the original subfolder structure that was present on the internal drive.Is something wrong that I don't see the subfolders on the external drive? I want to preserve this structure and of course see it show up in the LR library for the external drive.
I just tried to open LR4. It opened, but then a screen with "An internal error has occurred" and a long string of words and symbols is in the middle and LR is frozen. I did a force quit and reopened to the some thing.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to synchronize "Noise reduction" settings on a set of 952 photos (which are actually smart previews), using LR 5.2, and after I click apply I get the following error:
An internal error has occurred: <AgErrorID>10003</AgErrorID>
I have tried with only 3 photos selected and it worked fine. But it seems LR is not properly handling the large number of photos.
In Library module/Folders right click and show parent folder I get the following error
An Internal error has occured: Database .. columns rootFolder, pathFromRoot are not unique
Statement: UPDATE AgLibraryFolder SET rootFolder = ? WHERE id_local = ?;
This error occurs on all folders that I have checked.
I have tried to open lightroom and perform an integrity check which did not report any errors.

This problem started yesterday after I moved some of my library to an external hard drive. I created a new catalog and moved the photos within lightroom. I don't know if the move of photos caused the error or not. Now whenever I try to delete rejected photos, I get the following error message:

Now can change module, click on folders etc, but no images are displayed.
No disk activity
LR displays "Loading ... " in centre pane
Closed LR without other errors displayed.
Now cannot restart LR - click on icon and brief hourglass, then nothing.
task manager shows two instanced of lightrrom.exe as running, one at 830K and another at 2.3K
Kill these tasks & restart lightroom. Catalogue does not show most recent import.
Close lightroom - still shows "phantom" lightroom.exe in task manager.
After upgrading to 3.5 from 3.4.1 I received this error when attempting to publish new photos to my harddisk. First I thought the problem may be related to access rights. I am running Win7, 64 bit. So I reset the read/write rights in the export folder and the LR catalogue and AppData folders. No success. Then I opened a new cataloge and imported the old one in order to start "from scratch" - no success, publishing collections were not importet. Finally I switched back to version 3.4.1, and ... it works again
View 5 Replies View RelatedI had a catalogue with 4 or 5 collections filled with pictures in each with stars and color filters. I just went to go open my collections to export the pictures and all my collections are gone and I did not click any thing to reset or delete anything. Only a small portion of the pictures have a star rating but none of them have a color filter.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI shoot in both cr2 (23 MB) and Small-jpeg. Afterwards I upload the pictures to Lightroom and have the appear in the catalog as one picture. Here I make all the editing and when I export the picture back to my harddrive as a jpeg I can only get a file of 3-500 kb. I know I have made some croping - but not that much. It is like Lightroom is working on the jpeg picture and not my cr2 picture.It may be a setting?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my watermark in Lighhtroom. I'm selecting 10 pictures to export and I'm selecting the watermark checkbox in the export dialog box. The watermark is only showing up on 4 out of the 10 pictures. I have tried the process a few times, but I keep getting the same result. I have tried exporting only one of the pictures that doesn't have a watermark and I get the same result.

I was resolved to Ctrl-Click on the ones at the bottom filmstrip that I could 'see' that I had edited (about 15 out of a hundred) and then export to a subdirectory. Maybe someway to filter that bottom filmstrip to only the pictures I've edited/enhanced?

The first import consisted of pictures from Trip 1 folder on my hard drive, the second import was from Trip 2 folder on hard drive. I see the Trip 1 and Trip 2 folders in LIghtroom 5, but am experiencing problems with emailing and exporting pictures, getting messages such as "Missing file" or "Export does not show up. Were there problems with the import?

When I go to my Pictures file and try to open the photos i get the message: Photo Gallery Can't Open The Images Or Video Because The Format Isn't Supported Or You Don't Have The Latest Upgrade To Photo Gallery. Pictures from a small point & shoot work fine. I get the same results when importing using the camera Mfg's software.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI thought I had this figured out but it appears to occur somewhat randomly. Since upgrading to Windows 8 when I export files that I have imported from Canon raw .CR2 for some files it gives an error that "the file could not be written" and lists the original source .CR2 file name. It does not do it everytime but once it happens it happens everytime for that file. When exporting 10 JPG files for example only 3 of them may have this issue. The file still exports and creates the JPG file and the only issue with the exported file appears to be that it did not create the preview thumbnail.
I have tried importing the files into new catalogs, writing to different folders etc but it still happens.
All of a sudden I am getting an error when I try and export my photos to a dvd from lightroom3. Ive never had this issue before and Im not sure what to do to fix it. how I can burn my images to a disc?

When I attempt to export a group of approximately 50 photos from LR4, a window opens at the end of the process saying "The file could not be written" along with a list of approximately 10-15 NEF file names. I have never had a problem exporting before, but I recently started storing my LR catalog and files on an external USB 3.0 drive.
Here are the details:LR4 with latest updatesWin 7 with latest updatesLR catalog and photo files stored on external USB 3.0 G: driveTrying to export to a folder on my desktop on C: drive (46GB free out of 134GB, solid state drive)LR files are NEF, exported files are JPGI've tried to export to the same group of photos multiple times with different names and different output file sizes (8MB, 5MB, 2MB). Each time the list of failures is different.Some of the thumbnails which appear in Windows Explorer are corrupted (part of the thumbnail is gray)When I try to export the same group of photos to the external USB 3.0, it works perfectly!

I have two PC's running Windows Vista that I work with and both have photoshop CS3 installed, but for what ever reason on one of the PC's the Windows Photo Gallery application displays really desaturated colors when views jpg's and the like (the other PC's displays them fine).
I've googled and haven't yet found out a quality solution, lots of info on simply combining and replacing drivers and the like and nothing really set in stone from Adobe, or Microsoft etc
My Lightroom has unexpectedly stopped exporting files. Nothing that I am aware of has changed--I haven't changed cameras or added new software. No error message comes up, it just does nothing after the Export dialog box.

I've recently encounterd a problem while trying to export images out of Lightroom 4. I keep getting an error messge "File canot be written." This is happening whether I'm exporting a Jpeg or a raw file. Cannot figure what has happend but it's doing it with old and new files, so it's not an issue of a corrupted file.

The solution is to find the corrupted part and restore it.
My problem is that the assembly (and 5 subassemblies) consists of over 150 parts, which is way to many to just start recreating parts at random...
Is there a way to pin-point which parts ruins my model ?
we have some styles to import into our drawings and when we try to import them, we get
INTERNAL ERROR: !dbobji.cpp@8749: eNotOpenForWrite
We don't have a functional work around for this yet. We're using C3D 2014 (IDSP). We can get this error importing styles into some existing CAD files, but not all. We can create a brand new, blank drawing and attempting to import these styles will cause the error. The error occurs during the 'verifying imported styles' progress bar in the lower left.
We thought we were getting somewhere when we exported to dwg 2013 format and opened that and we could then import styles with no issue. Unfortunately, in exporting to dwg 2013 format, we lose all of our surface and point data. Doing a saveas to 2013 apparently does nothing more than just save the drawing and that will still not allow importing of styles.
