LR 4.3 currently links to PS CS3 which no longer exists on my computer. I have CS6 installed but LR trys to find CS3. Consequently, it doesn't transfer me to PS. How do I link it?

View 3 Replies View RelatedLightroom 4 - My Nik filters are not in the Edit version of Elements when I want to edit a picture from the Lightroom Bibliotheque with cmd+E, because Ligthtroom use a back up copy of Ellements 11 that is on an extern back up drive (i don't understand how that is possible). My Nik filters are not on that drive but well on my Mac's Hard Disc.How can I tell to Lightroom to use the Mac's Hard Disc version that is in the Dock ?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I "Edit in Photoshop CS6" (CMD+E), CS6 launches but the image isn't sent to CS6. I just get the default CS working space. I've been using LR4.1 since it came out and just got CS6 (I didn't have previous version of CS).
I'm running LR4.1, CS6, ACR 7.1 on a Mac.
The library module in the version 4.3 of Lightroom does not show all the images. They are marked with gray boxes instead of images. This is especially true of the images which I tried to import to Lightroom since I downloaded 4.3 a few weeks ago. If I want to seen an image, I have to go to the develop module to see it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedURL... and completing all options related to the Mac, the "Edit in Photoshop..." still does not appear as a clckable option in my Lightroom 4.3 program which has all the current updates. Also, my Photoshop Elements 11 program also has all the current updates.
Please note that in the interest of time, that all of the "solutions" were attempted in the above mentioned link.
Lightrrom 4.2 can't use the right click, "edit in" photoshop CS6. I have tried edit, preferences, and created a Preset and pointed it to the CS6 photoshop.exe... still a no-go.

View 3 Replies View RelatedLR 4.3 Imported images as DNG and am working with them in LR. When I try to Edit in PS (CS6), the Photoshop app starts and is passed the DNG file.
Even though I have the External Editing set to TIFF to open in CS6 it refuses to export a TIFF file and pass that to PS.
Oddly this export process will work for a JPG file but not one that is converted to DNG.
No lab software loaded and am on current versions through Adobe Updater.
Since i have updated to PS CC en Lr5.3 the edit in function in Lightroom doesn't function properly. Or sometimes not at all. I removed the adobe plist files. And then it will work. Accept when I restart the computer the next day. The problem keeps comming back! The operating system is Apple mavericks.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I generate a 32 bit tiff (HDR) in PS CS5 from bracketed pictures within lightroom 4.1, import the tiff back into lightroom, adjust it in lightroom, and then send it back to PS (option "Edit a Copy with Lightroom Adjustments" selected) for further editing, the file won't open in PS. Opening the file directly in PS works, but without the adjustments made in lightroom.
I have tried the same with a 32 bit tiff from Photomatix. Same behaviour.
I tried to edit some raw files as layers in PS CC from LR5 (Photo>Edit in>Open as layers in Photoshop). I want to do this for blending layers. One file works but 2 or more files doesn't. PS opens and nothing happens. If have the latest versions of LR5 and PS CC.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using PSE-11. I have been editing many pictures (cropping and enhancing) before I send them for printing. I select 6 or 8 images and send them all to the PSE-11 Editor. When I have done all the editing, I select CLOSE ALL and apply my answers to the first file to all of them. I want them to be in Version sets with the originals, and most of them are correct. However some images are stored, with the words 'edited-1' added, but they are not in Version sets, nor in the catalog. The Organizer tells me that it has found new files. Also, when saving some of the images, PSE-11 freezes and is shown as not responding for several minutes.
Yesterday, the Organizer froze for several minutes soon after I started using it.I am using my desktop PC: HP m9452p with Intel Core-2 Quad Q8200 processor, 8 GB RAM, 750 GB hard disk, and Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
I have over 35000 images in my catalog.
Publish comment doesn't work correct. Even if I set multi-sheet file and prompt for name, autocad doesn't ask me about file name and makes single sheet files.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am running cs6 on both PC and Mac. On my pc if I save a Photoshop file on it as a save as, it does not open the file immediately. I have to close the original file, find the file then open it. Very time consuming and also confusing if you are working fast. On my Mac if i save a document in Photoshop, doing a save as, it saves the doc, and opens it right there and you just continue to work.

Yesterday, I mistakenly opened up the version 3 icon and put in several hours worth of image work, metadata changes, and created a couple of collections.
1. What will be the easiest way for me to update the changes to my version 4 catalog without undoing work that I have done in that from the last couple of weeks?
Recently I have purchased the above software to be installed on a 32 bit PC. However, the USB installation that came is 64 bit and the free trial on Autodesk website, although it offers the 32 bit, is also 64 bit.
It seems that the 32 bit version does not exist. Is there a way around this? I was hoping to download the 32 bit trial version and using the serial number and product key of the 64 bit.
A coworker brought this to my attention and I was also immediately able to reproduce this. We use content center C channels and other common beams a lot. After inserting one into an assembly if you right click and select change size and edit the length it typically doesn't update to the correct length.
Example:
Insert a 10" Ansi MC/C channel any size
right click and select change size
add +.0625 to the existing length and hit apply
measure it at 10.06252 in
repeat change size and type in 10.0625
measure it at 10.0625
repeat change size and type in 10 + .0625
and measure at 10.06252 in
It seems to mess up more when you do math but it also screws up entering a simple number
10.000325 usually ends up as 10.000315 in for me.
Editing the part directly from it's parameter dialog doesn't yield anything like this.
When I open my illustrator file after working in CC, it won't open. I keep getting an error saying "could not read file because the plug-in could not understand this file."
View 1 Replies View RelatedIndesign promted me to update the path to PS while opening a PS file from within ID. I clicked okay, having never seen this, and having had no problem opening PS files files from ID before.
BUT then it started opening PS from my back up clone, and not my boot disk! How do I change it back?
I tried selecting 'other' from the list under 'edt with' and navigating to the correct version off my boot disk, but it was grey and not available!
I unmounted the back up clone and it worked fine, but when I remounted I got the same problem.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI'm running on LR 5.3, but this problem persisted in LR 5.2. Working in PS CS6 and Camera Raw 8.3. RAWs are NEFs from a Nikon D600.
I can't figure out what happened but suddenly I am not getting prompts when moving from LR to PS to "Edit Original" or "Edit a Copy".
I reset all dialog warnings and nothing. The prompt will appear for TIFFs but not for NEFs.
It's kind of pointless to not be able to choose to edit an original or copy with LR adjustments for a RAW when they are the file types that retain my RAW editing information.
Plus, when I do click on a NEF and choose to edit in PS without the prompt (it will appear with lightroom adjustments, not as original), it will open a second icon for photoshop on my dock, and prompt me to continue trial? I have a version of PS installed with the serial plugged in, and in LR "edit in PS" for a TIFF will open this primary version.
Our Council has been updating our school system. We have the design suite and have chosen Inventor 2013, AutoCAD 2013, Inventor Fusion.
The issue is that in Inventor the EDIT FORM tool isn't on the Ribbon. It also isn't on the add in's for Inventor 2013 either.
We also downloaded the suite direct from AutoDESK.
Every time I double click on single line text it brings up the properties. I have searched online and made the changes to certain toggle settings and still nothing. I'm not doing something right I just can't figure it out. I know "DDEDIT" can do the trick. But, I know double clicking has worked on previous version and I want it to work on my 2013 version.

View 9 Replies View RelatedIn LDDT, I was able to create points and manually assign a point number.
I know in Civil 3D 2013, i can assign a point number also by changing a toggle under Point Creation Tools to False.
My problem is that everytime I close out of that box and get back in, it reverts the toggle back to TRUE so I have to keep changing it back to False as well as the Next Point Number. In the above example, the Next Point Number should be 1147 (which is after my manually created point 1146) but it keeps going back to 33 which is the next available number after #1.
I've done a grading "applying to entire lenght" but after done that I realized that I needed to do some located contentions. Is it possible to edit the grade for not applying it to entire lenght?When I go to the modify tab, edit grading, it does not appears the option "apply to entire lenght?"
