AutoCAD 2010 :: Publish Comment Doesn't Work Correct?
Nov 12, 2011Publish comment doesn't work correct. Even if I set multi-sheet file and prompt for name, autocad doesn't ask me about file name and makes single sheet files.

AutoCAD Print / Plot :: Publish In 2013 Doesn't Work?
Nov 21, 2013I have C3D 2010, 2011, and 2013 installed on my pc. I use the Publish command almost daily, and haven't had any serious issues with it when using 2010 or 2011. But in 2013, when I publish it just sits on the same screen and never actually publishes. I have tried turning off Publish in Background, I have checked that the printer support paths are the same as in 2010 and 2011, and I have tried Publish with different Page Setups.

Jun 9, 2013Tried to publish to face book in Lightroom 4 and 4.4 on both PC and Mac. You can create a new empty album in FB from Lightroom but Lightroom will not the allow you to select the album to upload the images. You just get an error message at the bottom of the screen telling you "error - no album selected" Wasted hours trying to get it to work as per Julian Kost video tutorial.

May 15, 2013Don't know if I need to check some other setting or this is just the way it is. When I use PUBLISH to plot a set of drawings, I can't do anything else on the computer. If I try to type in any other software, it is interrupted and the cursor moved away from the software. I am able to type maybe a couple letters in any software, then the cursor goes away, put cursor back, type 2 letters, repeat, interrupt, cursor back, 2 letters etc..

Sep 7, 2012I am having an issue with saving the merge control variable to "Lines Merge" under the Sheet Set Publish Options. I have full rights to the sheet set file, and can change the variable to make a plot, but it gets reset everytime I close program and reopen.

Although I downloaded and installed the Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications Module 32bit (from URL....), the printing Plug-in can not work with autocad 2010.the commands from the plug-in cannot be recognized.
Firstly I install autocad 2010,then VBA,next printing Plug-in.Is there anything wrong?
AutoCAD 2010 :: Extend Command Doesn't Work
Mar 10, 2012I have a 3d drawing file which I manually flattened except the section. The ground plan is at 0 Z axis.
Now I am trying to draw lines on top of it, and I cannot extend my lines. Any solution to this?
Additional question:
I also had some difficulties when I was trying to flatten the 3d model. "Flatten" command did not work. I understand Flatshot did not work because these are not solids. But why Flatten did not work? That was why I had to manually change start and end of z position.

Oct 22, 2013I'm using ACAD (2011) most of the time in 3D. I like to work that way and it goes really fast!
Now, sometimes I want to flatten my 3D drawing and show my obscured lines and make them dashed afterwards. With the flatten command and explode it works fine... but... some lines just move! For example, a block with size 100,200,100 turns into a square with size 100.9 x 199.3, even if I use the command in 100% top view!

Oct 12, 2012when I trying to publish in single-sheet file. so I type publish on my command bar, then I chose publish to pdf but when i try to click on publish options to set the location where I need to put the pdf files the publish window freeze. same thing when i click on add sheet button.
NOTE: I have this problem especialy when I used AUtoCAD from home. to use AutoCAD from home I made borrow licence.

Mar 26, 2013I have some mulitleaders in paperspace that lost their associativity with objects in model space. _dimreassociate will work with to reattach a leader arrowhead to a model object but the command doesn't work with multileaders. Is there another way to do this or do I have to redraw the multileaders?

I type in the command ( I'm an old school typer, hate the buttons ) BLOCK....then the next thing that happens is (after hitting enter of course), my crosshairs instantly turn into the Windows arrow.
I wasn't playing with any switches. I was just trying to make a little block with a number in it.
Yes, I restarted AutoCAD, restarted the computer, did not reload in AutoCAD.....AutoCAD 2011 by the way.
I run Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
I have to do a WBLOCK to make the blocks I need to bypass this odd behavior.
AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Publish To DWF Doesn't Print Xrefs?
Jul 2, 2013When I print to a DWF file using the "Publish to DWF" pc3 file, my xrefs and aerial image do not show up.
I can print to any other printer or to a PDF file and everything works fine.
I tried a different drawing with xrefs and aerial image and it worked fine also.

Jan 30, 2013I want to share toolpalettes for multi-users in a network.
i create a share-folder with full-write-and-read-status for the cad-admin. then i added the folder into the _toolpalettepath-definition in the acad-options. all other users only have only-read-status for this folder.
this folder will be define in the first position of this list.
in theorie this will work - but now a costumer test this configuration. the problem is, that texts and seperator-lines in the paletten-defintion change the order - like example.
In other postings i read the name *.aws-files - but i did not understand the meaning of this file.
AutoCAD Inventor :: Content Center Part When Changing Size Doesn't Update Correct Length
Mar 15, 2013A coworker brought this to my attention and I was also immediately able to reproduce this. We use content center C channels and other common beams a lot. After inserting one into an assembly if you right click and select change size and edit the length it typically doesn't update to the correct length.
Example:
Insert a 10" Ansi MC/C channel any size
right click and select change size
add +.0625 to the existing length and hit apply
measure it at 10.06252 in
repeat change size and type in 10.0625
measure it at 10.0625
repeat change size and type in 10 + .0625
and measure at 10.06252 in
It seems to mess up more when you do math but it also screws up entering a simple number
10.000325 usually ends up as 10.000315 in for me.
Editing the part directly from it's parameter dialog doesn't yield anything like this.

I create a page setup for every sheet, and set publish to "PDF" but it did not work, but when I set publish to "plotter named in page setup" it publish but by one sheet on the time. I did try to do it in different ways, according posts before but no luck.

Oct 2, 2012"Open in viewer when done" is checked. I've unchecked it and rechecked it but the Adobe Reader does not launch after plotting in background completes. It does launch when plotting directly to the DWG to PDF.pc3 plotter. What am I missing?

Everything works the same as AutoCAD 2011, however, even though I have the "Prompt for Name" set I am not prompted for a file name and the publish progress symbol continues without a result.

Can we create a pdf for complete circuit in single page, where we can scroll the page horizontally. This will work in viewing the page horizontally with continuity in the circuit.

Feb 23, 2012I have been using autocad for 20 years plus. I've never really had to publish anything to DWF. We have a client that wants DWF's instead of PDF's. I have a 3D model with views in paperspace within viewports. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to plot these drawings to DWF in Black and White. I have tried everything. I am using monochrome.ctb plot style. The border and all border elements are plotting B/W but everything in the viewport is plotting whatever color it is in the VP. This is driving me nuts. Never liked this DWF format. If I plot to a PDF it all comes in B/W.

Mar 1, 2012I installed AutoCad 2011 on a new computer Win7 Prof Off OS. I'm trying to make single pdfs for each dwg that I have. No matter what I select it keeps making one multi page file of all my dwg sheets.
I've tried going under Publish Options > General DWF/PDF and I've tried both Multi-sheet file and Single-sheet file getting the same results. I have the same problem whether I use Dwg to Pdf.pc3 or my Adobe.pc3 driver.
