AutoCAD 2010 :: Publish To Multisheet PDF Hangs

Apr 11, 2011

Has conquered the PUBLISH command hanging and failing to create a multi-sheet PDF?

Everything works the same as AutoCAD 2011, however, even though I have the "Prompt for Name" set I am not prompted for a file name and the publish progress symbol continues without a result.

I have no choice but to cancel the process.

Lightroom :: 5 Hangs On Import From Another Catalog / Export And On Publish Services

Aug 8, 2013

I am on a Windows 7, 64-bit machine running Lightroom 5. I am having problems running certain Publish Services and also while trying to import from another catalog. On Publish Services - I am able to publish to a remote desktop but not to my own network. I have also been seeing issues with publishing to SmugMug (since before they updated their site).

Similarly, I am trying to merge some catalogs and when I import from another catalog, the process seems to hang about halfway through (I left it running all night long - the catalog is large but not THAT large!). The process did bring in what seems like most files so I wonder what I am missing.

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5 :: Installation Hangs And Then Cannot Publish PDF Or Save Files

Dec 28, 2011

I was facing problems with X5 soon after installing it, it actually doesn't installs properly. Somehow i have to End Process of installation and though find X5 in my Start menu of Windows XP SP2. Well the actual problem started when i recently tried to publish PDF for one of my client's brochure of 17 pages, X5 closes all of a sudden and i have to restart the whole process. At times it creates a PDF which then has errors and Acrobat Reader don't read it.At times X5 even gives Error while saving files. Then have to click Save till it actually saves the file.I uninstalled X5 thinking, there could be some corrupted files and re-installed, but all in vain..

AutoCad :: PDF - Multisheet Portrait / Landscape

Jul 31, 2012

Our company is setting up the Publish command to utilize the different title blocks within the Layout Tabs so we can create one file PDF(Multisheet). Our title blocks vary from sometimes been all portrait to on other occasions been a mix of both portrait and landscape layouts.

The issue that has arisen is the following example:

Layout 1 - Portrait
Layout 2 - Landscape
Layout 3 - Portrait

When creating the PDF using the publish command it doesn't not recognise the Landscape format therefore is not creating the Multisheet function or creating this function but the rotation of Layout 2 in the example is portrait. Where as when they are all Portrait sheets it creates 1 file which is what we are after.

AutoCAD .NET :: Multisheet PDF With Multiple Selection Of Windows In Modelspace?

Sep 30, 2013

i'm trying to create a routine, where i can select multiple windows in modelspace, and the plot a multisheet pdf.but I'm having trouble to create multiple pages, it only generates 1 page

I have modified sourcecode from Kean Walmsley:

[URL]

- this routine creates a single-page pdf with only the last selected window.

- the pc3-file I use is able to create multisheets because the original routine with paperspace works fine

- I think it has maybe something to do with the pi.Layout = lo.Id ?

Can we create a pdf for complete circuit in single page, where we can scroll the page horizontally. This will work in viewing the page horizontally with continuity in the circuit.

AutoCAD 2010 :: Can't Work On Computer During PUBLISH LT 2012

Don't know if I need to check some other setting or this is just the way it is. When I use PUBLISH to plot a set of drawings, I can't do anything else on the computer. If I try to type in any other software, it is interrupted and the cursor moved away from the software. I am able to type maybe a couple letters in any software, then the cursor goes away, put cursor back, type 2 letters, repeat, interrupt, cursor back, 2 letters etc..

AutoCAD 2010 :: Publish Drawing To DWF In Black And White?

Feb 23, 2012

I have been using autocad for 20 years plus. I've never really had to publish anything to DWF. We have a client that wants DWF's instead of PDF's. I have a 3D model with views in paperspace within viewports. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to plot these drawings to DWF in Black and White. I have tried everything. I am using monochrome.ctb plot style. The border and all border elements are plotting B/W but everything in the viewport is plotting whatever color it is in the VP. This is driving me nuts. Never liked this DWF format. If I plot to a PDF it all comes in B/W.

AutoCAD 2010 :: ARG File - Auto Publish Settings And Workspaces

May 8, 2013

When I created our custom profile ".arg" file, with two custom workspaces along with the OTB workspaces. I set the Auto Publish Settings to publish to PDF on Exit. With 50+ users, each can create thier own workspace for thier liking.

I have some users that like the feature, and others that do not. The ones that do not like the feature, want to turn the feature off.

So the question is if, under each individual workspace, we uncheck the Auto Publish feature, then save that workspace, is the feature turn off for JUST that workspace? Or does it cut the feature off for all workspaces?
