How do I add a single picture back into a collection? I have a collection of several pictures and accidently deleted one and I need to add it back to the collection.

I mistakenly created a collection when only one file was highlighted. I made another collection with all the other files I wanted in it, but I can't drag that one file from the filmstrip..
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm having such a hard time adding several photos at once to an existing collection. Not sure what I'm doing wrong as I am following the instructions. First I select all the photos by clicking shift and the 1st photo, then I select the last photo. All photos I want to add are highlighted. But I can't drag all the photos at once. When I try to drag, the 1st photo is only selected. What is are the correct click, drag and drop key strokes to get it right? Dragging and dropping one photo at the time is just not feasible.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am in the process of migrating my from iView Media Pro to LR 4, with about 15K photos. In iVMP, I created CSV files containing the names of the Collections and Keywords (using LR lingo) associated with each photo. I am now trying to find a way to import that data into LR. I have tried LR/Transporter, but it is not working properly.
I have done a lot of searching on the topic of migrating to LR from a different cataloging application and am amazed at the dearth of information I have found.
Any LR plugins that import metadata from CSV files? Even if LR/Transporter were working as described, I can't import the Collection names and keywords directly into their respective LR fields. Getting 15K photos into the same Collection Set/Collection hierarchy that I have in iVMP looks like it is going to be A LOT manual work. Are there no tools to make this process more automated?
Any resources for setting up LR with an existing photo collection (like a batch process for creating the empty Collection Sets and Collections), I would love to know about it.
After you edit a picture on lightroom, how do you save the edited picture back onto your computer?

I also tried matching Any Searchable Text set to the collection set name, but that doesn't seem to work...wouldn't all photos in the collection set be associated with that string? Looks like no.

I am using NextGEN to export images to WordPress. NextGEN created Publishing collections in Lightroom to match those in my WordPress blog. My problem is that they are not Smart Collections.
I currently have Premiere Pro CS5.5 installed as an upgrade from CS4. I have purchased a new, unopened copy of CS5.5 Master Collection Full Retail Version.
Should I deactivate and uninstall the existing installation of Premiere Pro before installing the Master Collection? I have made a clone of my OS drive just in case something goes wrong with the installation.
I'm working on a project, and I need to make this collection of surfaces into a single solid object. I tried using sculpt, and after a few hours of trying to find the leak, I have failed. not watertight.
Also, I need to get this thing to a cnc mill, and they keep asking me for 2d drawings, dimensions, and tolerances. I assumed the 3d file would be good enough. How to make a file ready for a cnc, and how to make 2d drawings without putting 600 measurements all over the image? Every time I try to do a 2d object, the whole thing is a mess.
I am trying to create a new collection but I find that I do not have a "Set collection as target" (or whatever the correct phrase is, since I don't have it.) I have right clicked and examined all menu options.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI searched through all the key short cuts, looked through the user guide and I'm at a loss where you can nudge a clip back and forth by single frames. I saw you can hold 'D" and SLIP the clips one frame at a time, but not move them outright.
So, since nudging is one of the absolute most basic requirements of any editor, I know it's in there. But alas, they hid it too well. here it might be?
Maybe hiding next to a trim mode I don't see where I can see how my slips and slides affect the area around the clip?

View 5 Replies View RelatedAm using Photoshop CS5.1, Simply want to create a single picture (file) that has a "built-in" mat around it. Seems like all that's needed is a box in background (color it as a mat), then put the picture on top.
Problem is, when I go to size (or crop) the picture, it changes the size of the mat and Canvas Size. "Really" want the Canvas Size to STAY 16in x 20in, just makes it easier so can SEE and adjust (move, crop, slide arund) the picture to be 13in x 17in in the center or whereever. After all done, will save as jpg, so can view/print easily.
os windows 7, upgraded to Gimp 2.8.4 I open an .xcf file and go to single window mode. everthing looks ok the zero offsets on the rulers are where they should be and I can see the bottom of the gimp window where the % size change is. I then ask for a new tool bar which is provided and locked to the widow. if i go to full screen and then back the picture is pushed down as are the ruler zero's and i now can't get to the bottom of the screen. this annoying behavior does not seem to happen in multi window mode. attached is a screen capture.
