In Lightroom 4.3, I can't seem to figure out how to setup a template that will be 11x14 in size that uses 13x19 paper. Trying to print directly from Lightroom and can't seem to get it setup correctly.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThe default file location for the template .dwt file in my AutoCAD options keeps resetting to None (see attaached, red arrow). It should be the same location as the line below it (see attached, green arrow). I have reset it a few times now, but it keeps reverting back to None. Do you know why this is happening and/or how I can fix it so the setting will stay?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to set up a sheet set manager template which uses a specific client titleblock, which due to the work I do is quite frequent.
I would like to insert as many fields into the title block that refer to custom properties in the Sheet Set. In particual some common fields point to the actaul Sheet Set custom properties (eg Client Name), and some point to the actual sheets custom properites (eg Title). I have set up a sheet set with a range of custom properties attached to both the Sheet Set and the Sheet.
However, I cant figure out how to set up the titleblock template to read in this information for each new sheet I create.
I open my template file, insert fields as required and try to point the fields to the sheet sets file. However I cant point to the custom properties for a sheet unless there is a sheet open. When I do this, all new sheets are created with the fields using the original sheet values - I wanted to update these based on custom properties I set for each sheet.
I need to set the default template which is loaded when the AutoCAD application is launched. Is there a way to do this?
E.g. If I open AutoCAD, the template loaded is acad.dwt. But I want to change the default template to acadiso.dwt.
Can I successfully enlarge a scanned 6x4 to print at 11x14, if so, what do I have to do to keep the quality.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have created numerous posters in the past on an older version of PS. I am currently using Elements 11. I need to make 13 different posters for a team party by Thursday evening. I want to make 11x14 posters using a photo in the background, and add 4 small ones to it. I put hours into creating these posters, and when I had them printed, the large photo was fine, but the smaller ones are very blurry. I have never had this problem when I have done these in the past......I could understand the big photo getting pixely, but the small ones are usually very sharp.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI am creating colage images in Photoshop CS4. I sometimes use scanned vintage daguerreotypes or other small snapshots. They are often small sized at 3.5" x 4.5" or 4.25" x 5.5". My Epson 835 scanner can scan in at 300, 400, up to 800 dpi. If I intend to print these scans at 8x10, 11x14 or a larger size within the overall collage, should I scan in at the highest dpi allowed by my scanner? Does this make a real difference after 300 in resolution/clarity?
Also, Does Photoshop CS4, in the enlarging process, as I bring the smaller image into my composite and stretch size it up with (T) tool, end up just making "junk pixels" using "Bicubic" or "Bicubic smoother" in the printing from flattened PS file, even tho I scanned in at a high dpi? scan in at best dpi so that the image won't be pixelated, lose resolution as it is used larger inside the final composite collage.
I am useing a Canon Pro 9000 MKII and when I try to print 11x14 paper, it will not alow custom paper size. The Canon printer driver does have custom size but it does not show up in printer settings.

If I create a precast stair in default template I get "end with riser" turned on automaticaly. If I copy that stair to my template and create new stair, "end with riser" is turned off and I manually have to adjust stair afterwards.
Problem is "end with riser" is now an instance parameter of stairs and I can't find where to change the default value.
Why is the stair type that works in default template stuffed when copied to my template?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've created a logo in CS6 & saved as a psd & jpeg. I then went to LR$ & created a watermark. I found that I could only use the JPEG image. When I viewed the final image I found the watermark was on a white background even though it was saved as transparent background.Looking at the options for importing images to the watermark template I noticed the PNG import option. I went back to my saved PSD image & saved it as a PNG & tried that. It seems to be what I am after.As Adobe owns both CS6 & LR4 then why isn't PSD an option in the watermark template? (LR4-edit=edit watermark)

Everything works except I can not get the job ident to show in the name. I made sure in the metadata that the indent was there in the work flow section. I have gone back redone the template.

I also tried clicking on the various template names, which gave me the option to install them. They then disappeared from the folder. But were not available.
I had previously also tried Resetting Filename Template under Catalog Preferences.
I really need this module to work.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have created a custom template in LR. It holds 6 unique images. What I want to do is lock the image cells in place while I'm in production. What's happening is sometime I'll get going and when I drop in the image or move the image around in the cell, I actually MOVE the cell instead of the image within the cell. Then I have to stop, realign, etc and then I can move on.
Is there a way to LOCK cells once you have the template set so that this doesn't happen? Then unlock when I need to move or edit the custom template?

2) Zoom to a fixed MP setting. I want to view all my images at 6MP, 12 MP or any other. This would be useful to check the details visible at a certain printsize.
3) Global switch to disable De-Noise rendering. This would speed up handling of D800 files a lot. De-Noise seems to take up most of the performance.
4) Possibility to view original, embedded JPEG Data in JPEG. (i.e. as reference)
5) Auto Histogramm:This function should move the left (black) and right (white) point of the curve to clip black and white at a minimum.
6) Sort and filter images by width and / or height in pixels
7) Sort and filter images by megapixel value
8) Autostack files with same name, such as xxx.NEF + xxx.JPEG. This is useful in case images were not combined at import.
9) When a folder is synchronized missing JPEGs should be removed from RAW+JPEG auto stacks.I see no way to reset this property, although it does not seem to disturb LR that the JPEG is gone.
10) Possibility to do a no-copy export. The purpose: copy the original file to the same name (which of course does nothing) and start an external application (such as RAW converter) with it.
