I'm using inDesign CC right now and I'm having trouble WITH removing placeholder dots from my paragraphs from a newsletter that I'm designing (which is due today). I copied and pasted the stories from e-mails, and placeholder dots came with thrm. I've been trying to remove them, but I don't know how.

But, there is a dot at start and end points of (+) sign. result is like this; (.+ .+ .+ .+ .+ .+ .+ .+ .+ .+) of course dots are smaller. so is there any way to remove that annoying dots from my linetype?
what Im looking and seen it around other places is like an outer glow but instead of a glow its dots where the dots closest to the object are large and close together and as they move out they get smaller and further apart...

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am placing addresses on a mailer. I need to remove lines where there is a blank field (ex. apartment numbers are on some but not others). I have checked the remove blank lines option in the data merge drop down menu but it doesn't seem to work. I also did the find/change option once the file was created and it also didn't work. I am not sure what possibly could be going on. I am using INdesign CS6 on a mac. Here is a screen shot of the file before the merge, the setting menu, the file after merge and the csv file.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've just recently starting using After Effects and it's very impressive.I purchased a project file from videohive.com, it's a few seconeds long and is basically a logo reveal.I opened up the placeholder where the logo is meant to sit, and I imported a vector version of our logo and added the text.
The problem is, everything within the placeholder seems to be of very poor quality before and after the video is rendered. URL....
Is there something I am doing wrong here? The "values and achievement" text is of high quality with no blurring or pixelation, the same goes for the blue surrounding effects, but anything within "logo" (as it is called on the timeline), is very poor as you can see from the video.
Using VSP X4. I have d/l one of the templates that has a complete video w/ placeholders. All of the placeholders except the first one are flat rectangular images which are easily replaceables, the first one that is a 3d Type of rectangle with a slant. How to replace it. How to adjust the image to fit into this 3d placeholder?

View 12 Replies View RelatedI created a Multileader style in AutoCAD LT 2011 that worked pretty good. Basically a keynote callout with a tick on one end and a circle on the other end. After using AutoCAD LT 2012 it was noticed that there was a small dot in all the circles. It seems that if your Multileader type is set to "block", your source block is set to, whatever (triangle, circle, etc...), and most importantly, if your attachment is set to "Insertion Point", a very small dot is placed in the insertion point. It prints as well. When the same drawing is opened with AutoCAD LT 2011, the problem disappears.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just bought the PHOTOSHOP CS4, and I am having problem when it prints. The image is not clear, it has dots (pixels). This computer where I installed this program is brand new. I have previously worked with Photoshop CS2 and never had an issue but was force to buy this new one because the computer that I bought has Windows Vista and CS2 is not compatible. I thought maybe the problem was my printer but is not I have a Brother HL-5140 (black and white). I have connected my old computer with the printer and the images print perfectly fine. I have printed photos and it prints clear. But this only happens with Photoshop CS4. It prints dots.

The image only contains one color, say black or red, and is put together by dots in different sizes and with different space between them, not sure, might just me different space between them. In the dark areas they are close to each other and in lighter areas they have a greater distance between each other.
I also wonder how to make the same kinda dot effect, but not with only one color. like magazies and newspaper use when they print photos. Im not reffering to the halftone filters. I tried to define a dot pattern, and delete the inverted pattern in the image, but im not satisfied with the results...
