Illustrator :: Can Change Swatches With Arrow Keys?
May 16, 2012I use the Live Paint option and the Live Paint bucket often. It is really convenient to change the swatch I am using by using the left-right arrow keys to change my swatch chosen in the Swatch Palette. But in CS6, if I am doing so, and the next swatch chosen is a percentage tint of another color (for example, I have a swatch Blue, and a swatch Blue 85%, which is the Blue Swatch tinited to 85% in the color palette and then made into a saved swatch), the "select" box around the swatch disappears, and I can no longer change the swatch choice without re-clicking on it.
I can change easily between swatches that are not percentages of the original, with no problem. CS5 and all earlier versions that had this feature had no problem whatsoever.

Only when .18" than the arrow side is legible

Oct 21, 2011I have been trying to bend a larger radius on a corner bend but i can not seem to be able to . I start out with a face of 46" x 82" i want to put a 1/2" bend up then a 1/2" bend out to make a z shape i'm using as a material .109 stainless steel and i want to end up with a 1/2" on the inside corners so that when i'm done i can flatten it out to get the proper sheer size for the piece the metal brake i'm using has a 1/2" die in thats why i trying to figure this out is their any way to put this kind of radius on the sheet metal bends.

example :i made a radius with the command "fillet edges",radius=50 mm.
the next day i decided to cahnge to radius= 30 mm.
i presssed the "ctrl" bottom, clicked the radius surface to change ,but in the properties tab was written "solid face",with no radius change option.
finnaly i delleted the radius face,and made a new solid edge radius.....
is this the only way?

Feb 24, 2012Changing the curb return radius after the intersection has been created. I am able to go back to the curb return parameters dialog and enter a different value, but once I hit Enter or OK the value reverts back to the one I orginally used.
So it looks like I have to delete the intersection object and re-start the wizard from scratch. Not that it's a big deal, just thought there might be a way to make the change once the intersection is built.

I have the code in VBA but I have not been able to generate equivalent Vlisp code.
The code fails at the following line saying "; error: Automation Error. Problem in loading application".
Importing the library does not make any difference (but I think it is not necessary).

I would like to have all leaders of all styles match the same style far as arrowhead size... multi-leaders are defaulted as 5/32 and after using them forwe like them this size verses the 3/32 size of the quick leader.

I moved to AE and created a simple rotation animation. However, I need to exspand the the radius of those objects or create more space between them.

Oct 3, 2012it looks to me that an arrow created in Illustrator CS5 and exported in a svg 1.1 file is later recognized as a stroke+triangle (two disconnected objects). It just want to make sure that I did not miss anything. The option "preserve Illustrator editing capabilities" is not checked since I want to open the svg file in Inkscape.
