It is of a logo and when I applied a colored background to the logo or import it into another file, the color of some objects of the log becomes very pale and "desaturated."

View 17 Replies View RelatedWhen using Photoshop CS, I've arranged text on a white background and saved it as a variety of file types (.jpg, .tif, .psd, etc.) and used RGB and CMYK color profiles. On screen it looks correct but when I print it, it comes out with a tan colored background. I've tried both a large scale plotter and a small color laser printer and get the same result.

I'd like to try and remove the background of one image in particular. The image is of a plain cupcake in a white liner taken on a white background. My aim is to use the image on either a white page of a pastel tinted page with the recipe listed at the side.

Problem is, the background isn't one solid color and the area where I'm making the edit has a definitive color change...it's an actual line dividing the footer into two sections. So, whenever I do the content aware fill it doesn't keep that line or the colors the way they "should" be.
Is this a situation where having the .psd file is a must?

I am kinda new to image editing and I am wondering how to do something like on the news (the weather reports in particular) where the replace/add the landscape to a green/blue background. I would like to do it with a white background and have it replaceed with something more interesting. The closest I can find is the color replacement tool but that is not quite what I want to do. Any ideas?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a light-colored image that I want to make a transparent background of without having any of the jagged white edges and whatnot, to make a signature and avatar and so on. I've tried the magic wand, Alpha Mask, and Alpha Space, none of which have succeeded. As I said, the image itself is very light (the attached image), so it's difficult to achieve what I'm trying to do.

How can i get such effects like in the attached image;
- first of all; the image has no background - the grapes are shown on a plain white background.Note; there is another nice little thing that we have to mention; the image of the grapes are somewhat with a kind of a overdose of light - i think that this is a nice effect - perhaps added with gimp!? The grapes look very interesting.
- the next effect that i like is the adding of the circles that are seen in the image. How did they add those pastel colored circles.

How do I type text in the color of my choice?
Win XP Paintnet version 3.5.8.
I just made a new image with my name written all over it. What I'm trying to do, is color the text RAINBOW colored, and so it looks blended together.
Is there a way to do that with the paintbrush tool? And then just go over the text, letting the paintbrush do the work?
How you can get a different colored outline around text.

Can it be simply generated in PSP X2/X4 or some good even online generator?
I have an illustration that I created where objects are overlapping eachother, what is the best way to get just the oulines with out a lot of copy/paste/knock out? It takes a while and to me it seems there should be an easier way. I've attached a pic to explain what I'm talking about.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm printing some spot colors on colored paper, and wondering if there is a way in illustrator (CS6) to approximate the ink/paper interactions. Im worried about the ink color (greens) shifting to brown on a yellow/peach paper. I've approximated the paper color in Illustrator, and designated the pantone colors. I tried Multply- and the ink color definitely shifts to what I think it would- but not sure if that is the best way.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to make consistent gradients for a while now with no success. What I would like to do is make one gradient - say a dark red to light red - and then have a way to change the colors of that gradient without having to search for the correct hex colors for each one. So say I do the red gradient, then if there was some way to overlay something over it to change the colors instead of trying to find them myself.
I know you can do this in Photoshop, but I haven't figured out how to do it in AI. Perhaps there's an easier way I just haven't found yet. I've spent a long time trying to make gradients of different shades (reds, blues, etc.), but the problem is getting each color of the gradient to be about equal to the other ones.

We are using iPart - iAssembly workflow with Inv-2013 and Vault Basic 2013
My question is related to released state of iparts. Currently we are generating/ releasing
all the iparts when new member is added in order to manintain the parent child version relationship
Example : say i have a ipart 41020.ipt and i have members 41020- 001 ~ 008 . I check out the parent
from Vault and add 009 member to it.
Question :
Do I have to generate all and check those in to maintain the version relationship between the child and parent inside
Vault 2013 ?
Or
Only generating 009 will maintain version relationship inside Vault 2013

I have a large (22"x28") poster completely filled with 8 pt text. I have a simple image under the text. I want to change the parts of the text over the image to the image color. Basically, I want to make the image out of the tiny text and delete the image from the background. As of right now, I'm individually selecting text and changing the color, bit by bit. I know there has to be a much better way, this is going to take hours! I've been using AI for a very long time and this is one of the only times I've been completely stumped! I've included a sample image, the actual one is much more involved.
