Photoshop :: Typing Text Turns Entire Image Red And Uses Wrong Colored Text
Aug 26, 2007Any ideas how ot fix this? Every time I try to enter text, the edges of the text is surrounded/selected with lines going around it....how do I stop that and have it stop turning my image red (Its supose to be brown, until I click it then it turns red), it isnt even using the correct colors that I set it at.

Nov 13, 2013I work on old radios, and jukeboxes. Remember Vacuum Tubes (Valves)? The schematics when I can get them are not very clear. I try and clean up areas of the schematic I am working on by redrawing the lines, and redoing the text. I try and do the lines in the colors of the wires.For example, If I wanted to draw a wire that was blue with a red stripe, it would look something like the attached image. It would have black outline, and the inside filled with 1 or 2 color (the diagonal strips would be nice, but I could live with straight lines).
If I wanted to draw a white line, it would have black outline, and the inside would be a solid color.Is there a way to accomplish this for the two types of lines that I need to draw?If not, looking for some plugin source code that I could adapt?

Dec 28, 2011I've been trying to get a jordan logo without a colored background. I've been using a black logo but it always comes with a white background. I've tried using the alpha mask plugin but I couldn't get it to work correctly. good detailed way to get the white background removed.

May 2, 2012I have a light-colored image that I want to make a transparent background of without having any of the jagged white edges and whatnot, to make a signature and avatar and so on. I've tried the magic wand, Alpha Mask, and Alpha Space, none of which have succeeded. As I said, the image itself is very light (the attached image), so it's difficult to achieve what I'm trying to do.

Paint.NET :: Shear Tool In Program To Get Curve Of Colored Band
Jan 8, 2009URL...But it uses a `Shear' tool in the program to get the curve of the coloured band. I was just wondering which one in PDN would do the same. I have tried sine waves without success and also the waves effect plug in. But neither will give the required effect.
BTW - I eventually managed to get the curve using Sine Waves but had to rotate the bar through 90 degrees first but it is still not exactly the same as the tut. It really needs a shear tool.

Jun 29, 2006I just made a new image with my name written all over it. What I'm trying to do, is color the text RAINBOW colored, and so it looks blended together.
Is there a way to do that with the paintbrush tool? And then just go over the text, letting the paintbrush do the work?

The text cursor disappears when I try to enter it into the rectangle and when I place it on the edge of the rectangle, it rurns into a slanted "A" and allows texting on the border of the rectangle. May 8, 2011I do a lot of CD designs, and often I have my text centered on the front covers. When I put the text centered, however, PSP is added an extra space to the end of text, so when I center it on the canvas the text is actually off-center to the left. When I go into edit the text, there is no space on the right of the words to delete.
With the text selected this is how it looks: The right edge of the frame should be flush with the right edge of the last 'T'.

May 12, 2011The 'saying' I am trying to create in a spiral format is 165 characters and spaces. I have pasted it into the spiral effects text box. It will only accept 65 characters in the text box.
If I use the circle effect, I can paste all 165 characters and spaces and the circle adjusts to the size where the entire saying fits into one circle.
How do I expand the amount of characters and spaces the spiral text box will accept and use to create the text image I want?

Jun 10, 2011I have to replace text in a banner image with different text. Maybe if I upload the banner, it would be more useful...
I have to replace "Customer Satisfaction" with some other text. The text is embedded in the image; so, it's not that easy, at least for me, to replace it without making it look amateurish. Of course, I duplicated the background and worked on that layer.
First method I tried was using the clone stamp, zooming in to 1600% to painstakingly erase it. But then when I zoom out, the background where the text was placed over does not match its surroundings and looks like someone shaded it. If you zoom in real close, before making any changes to it, you'll see that the "green" (what the RGB is) touching the text is different than the "green" in areas not touching text.
Next, I thought of using the magic wand to select the text for me and that looked liked it worked. But the problem is once I select it, how to delete it or blend it in with the background. That is, if I select the "C" in "Customer Satisfaction" with the magic wand, for instance, pressing delete does nothing. Then I found I can fill the area, after I select it with the magic wand; however, what the RGB combination is of the background. Is there a way I can find out what the RGB value is of the background, then apply that to my fill color and effectively delete the "Customer Satisfaction" text?
Once I'm able to get rid of the text, I can use the text editor plugin tool I downloaded to replace the text.
That's my logic, anyway. How I can replace text in an image, preferably as neatly as possible.
