I've been trying to get a jordan logo without a colored background. I've been using a black logo but it always comes with a white background. I've tried using the alpha mask plugin but I couldn't get it to work correctly. good detailed way to get the white background removed.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a light-colored image that I want to make a transparent background of without having any of the jagged white edges and whatnot, to make a signature and avatar and so on. I've tried the magic wand, Alpha Mask, and Alpha Space, none of which have succeeded. As I said, the image itself is very light (the attached image), so it's difficult to achieve what I'm trying to do.

On screen it looks correct but when I print it, it comes out with a tan colored background. I've tried both a large scale plotter and a small color laser printer and get the same result.

Problem is, the background isn't one solid color and the area where I'm making the edit has a definitive color change...it's an actual line dividing the footer into two sections. So, whenever I do the content aware fill it doesn't keep that line or the colors the way they "should" be.
Is this a situation where having the .psd file is a must?

I am kinda new to image editing and I am wondering how to do something like on the news (the weather reports in particular) where the replace/add the landscape to a green/blue background. I would like to do it with a white background and have it replaceed with something more interesting. The closest I can find is the color replacement tool but that is not quite what I want to do. Any ideas?

- first of all; the image has no background - the grapes are shown on a plain white background.Note; there is another nice little thing that we have to mention; the image of the grapes are somewhat with a kind of a overdose of light - i think that this is a nice effect - perhaps added with gimp!? The grapes look very interesting.
- the next effect that i like is the adding of the circles that are seen in the image. How did they add those pastel colored circles.

How do I type text in the color of my choice?
Win XP Paintnet version 3.5.8.
We need a macro that will allow you to select a certain color fill inside document and change all to no fill hairlines. It needs to be capable of doing it several times within the same document. Does anything like this exist out there?
We have color replacer. We want it to do this automactically with a static group of colors everytime without any manual maniplulation required.
I have some simple images with 5-10 different colors in them. I wanted to be able to count the number of pixels of each color in each image and compare the results.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was asked to cut out the background from a logo to make it transparent so the logo would look nice on a variety of backgrounds. I've been given a good quality jpeg file.
What I did was I selected (by colour) the background (white), inverted the selection, copied it and pasted as a new image.
It's all fine (the logo itself doesn't have any other elements) but there's still some whiteish/greyish outline around certain elements of the logo.
If I were to do it manually, it'd probably take ages. What would be the best way to accomplish it?
I work on old radios, and jukeboxes. Remember Vacuum Tubes (Valves)? The schematics when I can get them are not very clear. I try and clean up areas of the schematic I am working on by redrawing the lines, and redoing the text. I try and do the lines in the colors of the wires.For example, If I wanted to draw a wire that was blue with a red stripe, it would look something like the attached image. It would have black outline, and the inside filled with 1 or 2 color (the diagonal strips would be nice, but I could live with straight lines).
If I wanted to draw a white line, it would have black outline, and the inside would be a solid color.Is there a way to accomplish this for the two types of lines that I need to draw?If not, looking for some plugin source code that I could adapt?
In PSP X5 I have colored icons on each drop down menu(same as X4)..Have looked for a way(as in x4, x5)to show image and text in the menu but there is no way to do it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedURL...But it uses a `Shear' tool in the program to get the curve of the coloured band. I was just wondering which one in PDN would do the same. I have tried sine waves without success and also the waves effect plug in. But neither will give the required effect.
BTW - I eventually managed to get the curve using Sine Waves but had to rotate the bar through 90 degrees first but it is still not exactly the same as the tut. It really needs a shear tool.
