Illustrator :: Duplicate Art To Print Multiples On One Page?

I created a single piece art work in illustrator CS3 and all is well, prints perfectly aligned. No problems. However, now I realize I want to save paper and place multiples, up to 3 per page, to do so everything will need to change orientation so all 3 can fit to print out on a standard size piece of paper. Is it possible to copy all layers of text and images as one unit, rather than having to recreate the entire piece 2 more times and getting it perfectly aligned again. I have spent hours getting it perfect.
I frequently get a list from my boss of a bunch of photos to print 4x6 (Epson R1900) there might be 10 or 100 different photos. Most of the time, I don't need to do any correction just print. In CS/CS2/CS3 I had an action that called the print dialog and selected Scale to fit and 4x6, closed the photo, etc.. Photoshop always says that all actions can't be saved here-- ERR! So if I were to do a bunch, I would print the first one manually, then fire the action on the rest. (why can't Photoshop remember all the print settings?) That worked well until CS4. I have the CS4 suite on XP. If you use "Scale To Fit" in an action, it crashes Photoshop. I have tried it on two Windows systems (XP and Vista/64) and it crashes EVERY TIME on both systems. Someone else tried the same action on the NAPP forum and confirmed a crash also. Ideally, there would be a way for me to select 50 photos in Bridge and click a button and have them all print 4x6 to my Epson R1900. Any recommendations on how to deal with this? Getting the action to work would be good, but surely there is a better way to do this! I know I could use my MacBook Pro and it will run the action just fine, but I really would like to get this going on the main system here at the office.
I have created a business using photoshop, i also have a friends business card in a PDF version....both have bleeds and crop marks....what is the easiest (or longest if necessary) way in Photoshop, Illustrator or Acrobat to put say 3 colums by 4 rows of the same business card on one sheet, with crop marks and all, and print it? i would love to know how to do this in all 3 programs.
How can I print mulitple different .ai files onto one page in Illustrator CS6? I have all of the files organized by Arrange Documents>Tile All in Grid and I would like to print the files in this format so that they can all be seen at once when printed out onto one page.
Some background is that I have 16 different cad drawings that I have converted and edited in illustrator. I'd like to basically make a contact sheet with all 16 drawings so that they can be reviewed on one sheet of paper after printing. But each drawing is in it's own unique file, and I have not figured out how to put them all onto one page for printing.
How do I change the page order / print order of artboards in Illustrator CS6? I know it was a much griped-about neglect in previous versions once artboards were introduced, but surely it has been fixed by now. It's just I can't figure out how to do it. It is not intuitive by any means.

I'm printing a letter size document from illustrator at 50% size. All pages have a white background so I would like to have the document print with a black rule/ border around it so I can tell what it will look like. Is there a way to do this without manually putting a rule around all 25 existing artboards? Or is there a way to do this in the Acrobat pdf I'm outputting from this doc?(CS5)
I am trying to print a version of a letter head and footer on a A4 page. I sent the file directly from Illustrator CC to a desktop laser printer. On the screen looks all right but printed version has footer moved all the way up just under the header.
How to prevent the layout changes?
(BTW: My printer settings and Illustrator settings: Do Not Scale, Print Actual File Size)
I want to print a type specimen covering a page of paper and have illustrator generate it for me while I only have to pick the type font. How is this possible?
After moving a page in my document the master page elements no longer display on screen or in print. If I move the page to a different location in the document the master displays but if it is in the specific position that it needs to be it will not display. The document has multiple Masters and others do work on the page but the one that I need will not. I've tried deleting the page and adding a new one and that does not fix the problem. I've checked and "Hide Master Items" is not checked. The page in question is in position 48 with F-Master applied. If I move it to position 49 it works, 50, it works, 51, or any other it works. If I apply a different master to the page, it works. If I delete the page, add a new page and apply F-Master it still does not work. The only page that this problem is happening on is page 48.
I am wondering, is it possible to duplicate the page content, but to have all elements on the new page as a separate layers? Perhaps, some short key buttons combination....Just got tired to copy and paste all my elements as a separate layers to the new page :( Need to have all elements separate because creating a SVG file for die cut machine.
I am using Xara Xtreme 5.1. I am trying to add a new page to my file. Its the first time I have attempt to create a new page. At each attempt it duplicates the 1st page and all its layers. I have unchecked the boxes in the Page Options: Page Size: Document: "All pages in the document the same" and "same layers on all pages in document " and pressed "Apply" . I have tried afresh we a brand new file and yet cannot prevent the duplications.
I have just finished putting very many weeks work into Photoshopping a scanned image and now I want to print it with multiple duplicate unaltered images per A4 sheet.
The image is 15cm x 7.3cm, so theoretically I should be able to print 4 of these on an A4 page no problem. However, the solution to how to do this simply and without altering the original image at all complete alludes me. I have tried using google to find a solution and have tried the File -> Automate -> Picture Package option, but besides being overly complicated this also seems to alter the dimensions of your original image. I have also heard about a "long way" of doing things, which involves creating a new A4 sized image and duplicating your image manually 4 times on this page sized image - however I am also quite stumped as to how I should do this without losing any detail of the original image.
I have trial version of Elements 11; Also have full version, but have not installed yet, as I wanted to wait until I completed current project. I created/edited an album of wedding photos in the Organizer. I tried to upload album to Shutterfly to make an archival DVD and also make a photo book in Shutterfly. The photos uploaded individually to the Shutterfly print page to print individually, but the album will not upload to My Pictures, it shows the album name, but it is empty. How do I get the photos to upload?? Shutterfly was not sure how.
I want to divide object into multiple object equally distribued. But my object is a "S", this is not a basic rectangle. And i want to apply this technique to other objects. I don't know if it's possible to do that with illustrator because it seems a little bit complicated.
how to get the page count of a multi page PDF file? I know you can then open each page using the PDFFileOptions (pagetoopen). But I need to know up front how many pages there are to loop thru to open each page and process each page.
In the past two days, two-page PDFs that I save out of CS6 are printing with the second page upside down. I have tried resaving the documents—didn't work. Tried saving the documents as individual PDFs and combining the PDFs in Acrobat—didn't work. I have had my colleagues print them, and the second page is upside-down too. When I print two-page PDFs that I saved last week or longer ago, I have no problem at all. It just seems to be happening with recently saved PDFs. I didn't update any software on my computer between saving the PDFs that are printing correctly and when this problem began.
I want to create a hard copy (printed paper) portfolio of some of the designs Ive created, but Im not sure how to print a web page. I think it can be done in PS. If the web site was created in 72 dpi RGB resolution, I'm assuming it wouldnt print well because its not a high resolution CMYK image, am I correct?
Ive already created a CD portfolio, but is there a way to print (hard copy) a nice crisp clean image of a web page to show a client/ employer.
Say I make a new A4 page in Photoshop or Illustrator then fill it all in red, I would expect the whole page, when printed, to be red. Ive tried so many ways to fill the whole page but I have no idea how to.
Basically I have some business cards Im trying to print on a 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. There are cutouts in the middle of the page for the cards so im trying to print them exactly inside the cutouts. I measured the sheet myself and I need a 12.70mm offset from the top and bottom of the sheet and a 19.05mm from the 2 sides to get my cards centered in unison with the page cutout. How do you set this up in photoshop? I have CS4 for Mac.
I have 2 printers I print to from PS cs6. recently every time i go to print the print page freezes and i am unable to select the printer i want and all other options freeze up. i have to crt-alt-del to close PS and then reopen at which time i am usually able to print with whatever printer is selected--i cannot change printers.
have large format printer. I'm trying to set up a configuration for printing on rolls and not on sheets in page set up. But even if i try to make a new one the size doesn't work (61cm - 30,5m).
I cannot figure out how to get lightroom to print page numbers when printing a catalog, It places the page numbers at the very edge of the page, and my printer needs a .25" margin (it won't print to the edge of the paper).
how I can get page numbers to print?
Also, It is taking forever to print my 77 page catalog of 1524 photos--does everyone have this trouble? (an hour so far and not even half done "preparing"--this is a small library for me, only 12 gigs... many of my libraries are 500 gigs)
A website has done a feature article on our company and I would LOVE to print out a copy of this page. Using the standard browser print options makes the page a total mess.. I've downloaded the "Awesome Screenshot" plug in for chrome and got a decent print of it but it's still not ultra high quality.
