View 1 RepliesI noticed in Photoshop, the pinch-zoom ability on a trackpad works great to zoom into files open on Photoshop. How do you turn that feature on in Illustrator?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've tried to nail down exactly when and why this happens but have yet to figure it out. Usually happens (but not all the time) when I'm using the path tool and hit command+z to reverse a node I've created, but then the cursor swtiches to the magnifying glass/zoom tool.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe AutoCAD doesn’t show the “intersect osnap” at certain zoom!
The “intersection osnap” between a “hatched rectangle” and a “DASHDOT2” line appears and disappears depending on the amount of zoom!
As I zoom out the “intersection osnap” appears but when I zoom in, it disappears
Why the "intersection Osnap" should disappear as I zoom in?

I am working on getting some settings done, moving from 2008 to 2012. How do you set the Middle Mouse Button (wheel) to either Zoom All or Zoom Extents when you double click it? I thought it was set in the Main CUI file.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy keyboard has a zoom key with + and - selections. I use to use this key in drawings to zoom in and out when in the AutoCAD application when we had Windows XP. Now that I have Windows 7 I can't do this. I can't find out how to assign this key on the Microsoft Keyboard interactive software either. I have the other keys assigned as desired.
Can I still use my keyboard zoom key to zoom in and out in drawings? If so, how do I set this up in AutoCAD, or do I need to do this through a Microsoft keyboard application?
I am having problems with zoom, pan and rotate at high zoom level. The movements becoming jerky and delayed. But for whatever reason the problem exists in some assembly files and not in the others.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI use Photoshop CS2 to create Designs for webpages. These designs have pixel-exact elements, e.g. a 1-pixel-line from top to bottom.
Now when I zoom in (>100, then I have sort of anti-alias, so that the 1-pixel-line isn't only one blue anymore, but it has different blue tones. I guess for photo manipulations etc. this anti-aliasing zoom is great, but for webdesign it sucks because I don't know if only the zoom make the line "corrupt" or if it really is corrupt.
Is there a way to change this zoom?
Can I set illustrator zoom like photoshop zoom?
I mean photoshop zoom tool oprates according to pointer position . In other word, pointer location is the center of the zoom and this capability choose zoom area by pointer.
But adobe illustrator zoom doesn't have such preference
I have a problem in Illustrator when navigating around the artboard.
By default, if I want to use zoom function I press Alt key and zoom in or out using the mousewheel. When I am satified with the zoom level I release the Alt button and top navigation is activated. See what I mean in the picture below:
Let's say I have the Type Tool activated and I want to access the Selection Tool by using shortcut the V key. Instead of Selection Tool I get the View drop down menu from the top navigation expanded. Then I have to click away or choose the Selection Tool with the mouse.
This has been bugging me for a while now as it slows the work. Also, I have checked the Preferences trying to change the keyboard and mousewheel combination, but I haven't found it.
Is it possible, when you have three different documents open, to zoom in all three documents simultaneously? Or to move around with the hand tool in all documents simultaneously?
I'm running Illustrator CS5/CS6
The program launches. That's about all it does.
Ex. I drew a box with a white fill and black border.I tried to swap the fill and border and nothing happened.I zoomed out and it showed the change. Basically anytime I do something I have to adjust the zoom to get it to show the edit I wanted.
Then it won't let me close the document or quit the program. Not sure what to do.
I would like to lock the size of an object regardless of the zoom percentage. When I am zooming in on a vector map (main layer) the objects (on different layers) becomes very big. So I should be able to zoom in/out on the vector map, but the objects shall keep the same size. How can I do this?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI got a shape locked on the screen and can't unlock it.It is just a rectangle with 2 rounded corners. It has a strange shadow... I don't recall doing that shape ever, I was switching among Illustrator and Photoshop and in a second it just appeared.I tried many alternatives but still can't get rid off it. It is in every new file I make. It doesn't respond to zoom in/out. If I switch to outline view it stays the same, even with the shadow.I recorded a video.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI can't find in new max (2013) settings for zoom. I want to set Zoom about mouse pointer and adjust a bit zoom speed (now it is too much for one mouse wheel step).
I can't find zoom settings in 3ds max 2013. Where they are? I think that in previous max it was in Customize -> Viewports tab. But now it is not there.
I tried searching the forums for this topic but the search thing didn't seem to work.
A friend of mine installed Photoshop CS for me (an upgrade from 7.0) and for some reason I can't use CTRL + and CTRL - to zoom in and out, I have to use the mouse with the zoom tool which slows me down quite a bit over the course of 20 or so photo edits.
Can anyone shed some light on this? I checked Keyboard shortcuts in the preferences menu and they were correct. I've made no other changes to the program.
A man has a new picture and duplicated and he zoomed in while the picture is normal. He used the patch tool when I saw the picture automatically patch the normal picture as well. I've a nornal picture and I duplicate and zoomed in to fix but my normal picture doesn't automatically fix . How do I do?
View 1 Replies View Relatedway to zoom in and out without having to click on the zoom tool and then Alt Click to zoom out ? I find this a little slow.
View 9 Replies View RelatedIve been using 3DS Max for about 3 hours now, and seem to be picking up on it very quickly (Props to everyone involved for user friendliness). Im just puzzled about one thing. In my perspective viewport, panning and zooming happen realy fast, zooming close is impossible, as it zooms through and past the object with one scroll-notch. All zooming in other viewports are just fine, its only perspective that I'm having an issue with.
View 9 Replies View RelatedIf I zoom with the mouse scroll "alt scroll" then press the down arrow it opens my file menu, this is 100% reproducible. Zoom any other way will not open the menu. I have searched the shortcuts and can not find any shortcut associated with opening the file menu.

How do you create a pan and zoom effect, like a video effect, on a picture? The technical term I believe is the Ken Burns effect from a still imagery. I know it can be done in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro but I want to know if it is possible in Photoshop (CS6). It tried the options using the motion control but all I got was a fade out and fade in between two frames created from my image.Screen capture from Photoshop with the motion control window activated:
View 2 Replies View RelatedIt's about two days I am experiencing lag problems with Zoom Tool on Photoshop CC. The strange thing is that the problem appears only two days ago, when instead I've installed OSX Mavericks on my machine about two weeks (the day of the Public Release)
You can notice that from the moment I finished drawing the "zoom square" and the real zoom lapse about 1,5s (same thing for the Scrubby Zoom).
I've tried to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop, disable plugins and reset tool preferences but unfortunately with no success.
Here are my specs:

I have just recently bought Photoshop, When I use the magnifier, it sometimes zooms on the left mouse button and zooms out on the right mouse button. Other times it doesn't do this. Why does it keep changing and how do I get it to stay on L/R button zoom?
I have just created my new site that has many English teachers on Skype All this was done using Photoshop cs6 but I had the problem with the zoom the whole time!
I have photoshop CS5 and recently my zoom is malfunctioning. I draw on adobe, and more of the time when I zoomed and zoomed out my images still look consistant and smooth. Yesterday, my zoom at 33.3 and 66.7% isn't properly functioning. It distorts the pixels at these zooms, which makes it difficult to see and draw. It used to never do this, and I also didn't change anything in my photoshop to cause a change. Is there anyway I can reset the zoom how it was before? Or reset photoshop?
View 4 Replies View RelatedIt would be nice to zoom in and out to check a transformation without applying it.
