View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen you export from Illustrator CS6 or CC in TIF format, you are given the checkbox option of LZW compression, but the output file does not seem to be compressed. When I open this TIF file in Photoshop and do a Save As, selecting the LZW option produces a dramatically smaller file than the one produced by Illustrator.

However, when I export to .tiff @ 72 ppi, the result is heavy pixellation which I cannot print. How do I avoid this pixelation when exporting to .tiff in Illustrator CS6?
I need to export a large number of photos as jpegs (about 5000). I also need to preserve the original folder structure to burn them onto DVD (as the folder names say what the photos are whereas the filenames are meaningless as generated by the camera)
How do I do this - I am using the trial version of LR4 - Doing it individually for each folder one at a time is getting tedious.
In Develop, I'll click on the icons for the Crop Tool or the Adjustment Brush; the dropdown for the tool will briefly appear, then disappear.
In Library, I'll click Export; the Export dropdown shows for about 1/10 second, and an Export action begins, without me having had a chance to set the export parameters.
I've had LR since the beginning, all on Macs, and this is the first time for this bizzarre behavior. LR or OS? Hardware or software? I tried restarting LR and the computer.
The PLS I work under inquired if the pipe and structure tables provided in our construction plans are able to be exported to excel. The only way I know how is to use the reports manage. The problem is, the provided Pipes reports don't contain all the data we are looking for. How do I modify, or create a new, Pipe report? It seems like it should be really easy to export the data to excel..

My trouble is that all my images are stored in TIFF format which takes up enormous space no matter the storage. Since I output images in various sizes, mainly prints, to 30 x 40 inches, I need a master image archived in the best format for such. However, I do not want to fill my drives, or DVD, with large files. Code:
We just upgraded from Corel X4 to X6. When exporting a file into tiff in X6 , some images are creating extra lines that run into space. The images are made form cgm files, have not the best quality and relative old but in X4 I never had a problem with that.2678.test_c_drw_000_X4.tif4722.test_c_drw_000_x6.tif
Any new setting that needs to be on or off ?
I noticed that in X4 there is an option to apply ICC profile which I can't find in X6.Does this influence this?
Some days ago, I installed the x6 version. Now I find that, when export to Tif using x6 with the same settings and the same origin file, the file size is almose 3 more times then when using x5.
More Details:
I always use lZW compression, than the color mode I select paletted, and the final, choose document palette.
I just upgraded from 5 to 5.3.
Now I can't figure out how to export as tiff, PSD, original, etc.
I can only export as jpgs.
LR just doesn't offer those options anymore, it seems.
Have they been moved?

When using object styles to define font parameters, CorelDRAW doesn't adhere to the object styles' properties:
CorelDRAW Graphic Suite X6.4 @ Windows 7/Windows 8 - 64 Bit, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012
Well, I finally migrated to CGS X5 and am completing my first product brochure.I normally send out drafts and download copies in PDF and when I do I always set the access rights to the document to the same.
I allow viewing and I allow printing but nothing else and a password is required to change this.
Is there somewhere/someway that I can set the PDF export to have these parameters and password set so that they are automatically applied when I export?
I want to export reference parameters to an excel table using i-Logic
I found the function GoExcel.CellValues("filename.xls", "Sheet1", "A2", "A10") = MultiValue.List("d0")
It looks like the syntax calls for the file location and name if the xls file is not open and if open is not supposed to be required.
I have entered it both ways and with and with out the target file open and with the function GoExcel.Open("pathFilename.xls","sheet1") and continue to get the error:
we couldn't find C:AbellAbell VaultWorkSpaceDEVELOPMENTAC100-0100MRLTEST Table.xls. Is it possible it was moved, renamed or deleted?
Also, I was expecting that to fill in the sheet cell's would be MultiValue.List("d0","d1","d2")
but the system give me an error that says
Error on Line 3 : Overload resolution failed because no accessible 'List' accepts this number of arguments.
See below
GoExcel.Open("C:AbellAbell VaultWorkSpaceDEVELOPMENTAC100-0100MRLTEST Table.xls", "AC-100-0101003-TEST")GoExcel.CellValues("C:AbellAbell VaultWorkSpaceDEVELOPMENTAC100-0100MRLTEST Table.xls", "AC-100-0101003-TEST", "A2", "A10") = MultiValue.List("d194_A")GoExcel.Save
When I bring in a custom content center part or extrude a part I make, I always like to type it as LENGTH=24, thereby creating a parameter called length (instead of d0 or whatever it wants to call it). I then mark it as "export" manually so it shows up in my "custom parameters" tab on my iProperties. I do stuff with that exported parameter in my drawings. Is there a way to make it automatically export?
Or another approach, if I do LENGTH=24, is there an AUTOMATIC way (iLogic, etc) to make a new custom property, also called "LENGTH" that equals the LENGTH parameter?
I tried export cdr to huge tiff image, 300dpi and 25m x 3m size. The problem is my X6 crashed, i am using Win XP SP3 4gb ddr dell optiplex 380 series.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm currently using Inventor 2012 and i need a macro (code): I want to know if it's possible to export all the information from the parameters list (everything, names, values, tolerances, comments...) to an excel spreadsheet or a txt file (it can be a table, or a CVS file, i just want that information!), from a part file (.ipt) or a drawing file (.dwg).
Currently, i can only export the parameters' names and values , but i can't get to the tolerance values and comments . . .
How do you select parameters for export in parts that have already been published?
I have a part that I have published. There are some parameters that Ii would like to have available to the Parts List upon creation. I don't see a way to do this after the part has been published. I have been able to select the parameters for export before publishing and they will be marked for export when the part is placed form the content Center.2010 Suite-SP4 64bit
I'm actually using inventor 2012 and microsoft visual basic 2010 express, and i need to create some code so i can access and export all the information from the parameters list (values, names, tolerances... everything!) from a part i designed.
View 3 Replies View Relatedif I have a page of pics in a cdr, how can I export each one as its own stand alone tif? seems like I could do that at one time but now when I select an image and export it, it shows a weird dimensions size not like the image.
for example if I select a 5x7 image and export as a tif the dialog box shows it as 5.93 X 10.4 when the image is in fact 5x7.
we have just upgraded to x5 and now i have a big problem exporting tiff:
I work for print, not web. lets say i have a 50x50 cm layout. default dpi of document is set at 300. if i want to export that as a tif, it defaults at 300dpi in the export dialogue. until now, in x4, if i checked the maintain aspect ratio and just changed the dpi to lets say, 150dpi, it would only change the % of the size, not the actual size of the tif! now it changes somehow to double the size! but i want the same size to remain! also cm is selected, so no reason for it to keep the number of pixels!. i have to uncheck the maintain aspect and recheck it again to put the correct value in the size.
Also, i work with big documents, is there a way to stop previewing the jpegs in the export as jpg dialogue?
is there a way of exporting my AutoCAD drawings in high quality? Maybe Tiff?
The problems I have with exporting is that if export a drawing as a *.wmf the thick lines come out too thick even when using the 0.3 mm thickness. If i use the 0.25 mm thickness the lines are as thin as with the default thickness.
The contour lines of an image I imported into my AutoCAD drawing are coming all blurry when I export into wmf file even when using the 600 dpi resolution (highest available on the menu).
Inside my AutoCAD drawing my image map has a very high quality but when I export it, with AutoCAD polylines on top of it, the drawing comes out horrible.
I painted a blue polyline to represent a river in a contour map. This is for a civil engineering project. When I export the drawing, the polyline comes out too thick and the image behind comes out blurry. This happens even when using the highest definition possible for a wmf export (600 dpi).
I've read in another thread about a way of exporting into tiff. I followed the directions but the thread is not well explained. It doesn't say whether it is necesary to have or buy certain software. And it doesn't say what to do next to export the tiff drawing.
how to export high quality AutoCAD drawings?
Being an architectural photographer I create a lot of layered files with many exposures with different lights on and daylight separately. I always save my layered files in a folder called Layered files in the project. I also save flattened 8 bit Tif's at full resolution for my client as a print file in a separate folder along with another folder for web and device optimized files. When my client opens some of my flattened files they tell me the only see one layer. When I open some of them in Preview I get the same result. I only see the last layer I put into my layered file. But when I open the same photo in Bridge I see the full flattened file as I saved it. What can I do about that?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI create a new black document with rendering resolution set to 150dpi.
If I export the artwork as JPEG, and check "Maintain Size", I'll get the artwork in correct dimension and resolution. However, if I export as TIFF, the resolution by default is 72dpi, and if I increase the resolution to 150dpi, the dimension reduces accordingly, ending up with a smaller bitmap exported.
One page of my drawing just will not export as any type of raster/tiff/bitmap. All the subsequent pages will happily export, but one page just will not. The export option defaults to 2% and 240cm height and width.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am exporting graphics to TIF format and it needs to be exact same as in document, RGB code. I found out that if I uncheck the "Embed Color profile" it exports correctly with exact color codes as in Corel. However, sometimes I have found out that I have forgotten to uncheck that little box..
So I would prefer to have it unchecked by default. How would I do it?
I opened filters.ini and found the TIFF section, but I don't really understand anything there.
