Nov 18, 2013I have tea labels I want to label for Canada, but don't know how to change the text into Canadian French... Illustrator says it has that language, how do I use it?

Illustrator :: Welcome Sign - Text In Different Languages
Jun 18, 2013I am creating a 'welcome' sign for a client and need to be able to type the word 'welcome' in different languages. I am using illustrator and have tried to change the input sources through the system preferences menu but this is not working. Is there an easy way I can do this ?

Nov 5, 2007i'm trying to type chinese or even copy and paste chinese articles into InDesign, using the text boxes, but everything just shows up as little boxes, each character is a little rectangular box.
i noticed that there were dictionaries in the preferences settings and i tried to change fro the English dictionary to chinese but there isnt' one and there doesn't seem to be an option for not having a dictionary on either.
i can type chinese in photoshop as well as Illustrator......what do i have to do with InDesign?

Mar 12, 2012I am typing in Farsi which is a right-to-left language. What I see in the monitor is correct. Words appear from right-to-left. But when I print, Entire sentence appears from left-to-right.
This happens even if I print to PDF file. So it is not a problem with printer.
InDesign :: Create Table Of Contents (TOC) For Separate Languages In A Book
Apr 7, 2014I'm having trouble trying to figure how to create a mini TOC in a book. The content of the book is divided in 6 files.
Sample of how it looks likes
1) - Front cover (Pg 1)
2) - EN (Pg 2-20)
3) - SE (Pg 21-40)
4) - DE (Pg 41-60)
5) - FR (Pg 61-80)
6) - ES (Pg 81-100)
From file 2-6 they have their own TOC. Simple and it works, since each file have their own list.
I'm trying to create a small TOC on the front cover telling me each page numbers for each language file/chapter.
EN............2-20
SE..........21-40
DE..........41-60
FR..........61-80
ES........81-100
At the moment, I do it manually. But, maybe there is no simple solution....

Means it saves a copy via the Illustrator SDK (CS5).Now, we got a problem with some files: While exporting, there appears an error message called "Adobe Save for Web AI Error" and, obviously, it stops the export.I don't use an function called "Save for Web" and other people don't have the problem with our program.

May 23, 2013I duplicated one of my previously created CS6 Adobe Illustrator files (28 MB) with photos that have clipping masks. Why is my new AI file now 148 MB in size, when all of my newly linked jpeg graphics total only 9 MB? If I save it as a regular pdf it's 148MB, but if I save this same file with the smallest size pdf format, it reduces it down to only 242 KB. No files are embedded either in my newly created AI file. My business associate working on other Illustrator files experiences this same phenomenon sporadically at times too. It has us both baffled.
