Why is Adobe Japan's Academic Photoshop CS Extended only available in the Japanese language? Adobe is an international company with Photoshop available in almost 2 dozen languages. There should be a choice of language for Academic versions no matter where one lives.
View 1 RepliesI purchased Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended a long time ago and I have been using it just fine up until I installed Windows 8 Pro on my laptop. I restored my computer and lost my Photoshop files and save logs, so now I am back to square one and need to get a copy of CS4 Extended downloaded as I still have a key from the original product i purchased, but my DVD/CD drive do not work on my laptop. I have tried everything I can think of with no luck.

I own Photoshop CS5 (not the Extended), and need to re-download that version (I had upgraded via Adobe website). The only version I see offered is the Extended, which I do not need or want.
How can I find the download I need? I have all the serial numbers going back to Photoshop 2. This always fills me with dread, with these applications- most unfriendly.

My question is:
When a new version of photoshop comes out (for example CS4) will I be able to purchase the upgrade version if I own the academic version of cs3 or will I have to purchase the full version?
I get a different answer depending on where I ask.

I didn't know there was a special way to delete adobe application so i just dragged it into a program called app cleaner and it deleted all the files. View 2 Replies View RelatedCurrently I am running PhotoShop extended CS5, 64bit. in which i have my fovorite plugins (Topaz, Nik and OneOne) running perfectly.
I have upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud and installed PhotoShop extended CS6 using Adobe Application Manager as recommended. It didn't ask me if I wanted to upgrade or do a new install for PhotoShop. So now I CS6 running with no Plug-ins. I need my plugins! LOL.
I tried pointing to additional plugins in the CS6 preference to the CS5 plugin folder. Upon Launch it gave me a whole slew of error messages saying something cant load or launch C+ runtime error or what not. It does open up, but it only gives access to Nik and Topaz. OnOne doesn't show up under filters or extensions.
So, what are my options?
Just copy the plugins from CS5 to CS6?
I dont't want to reinstall all the plugins to CS6 if I don't have to as I've auto updated them over time to current versions online, so only have installation files for my original purchases.
I am typing in Farsi which is a right-to-left language. What I see in the monitor is correct. Words appear from right-to-left. But when I print, Entire sentence appears from left-to-right.
This happens even if I print to PDF file. So it is not a problem with printer.
How to create an file with graphs and tables (instruction manual) in one language and create afterwards many different linked copies where just the language should be manually changed? While editing the original (graphs etc..) the copies now should change the same way except the language.

Sample of how it looks likes
1) - Front cover (Pg 1)
2) - EN (Pg 2-20)
3) - SE (Pg 21-40)
4) - DE (Pg 41-60)
5) - FR (Pg 61-80)
6) - ES (Pg 81-100)
From file 2-6 they have their own TOC. Simple and it works, since each file have their own list.
I'm trying to create a small TOC on the front cover telling me each page numbers for each language file/chapter.
EN............2-20
SE..........21-40
DE..........41-60
FR..........61-80
ES........81-100
At the moment, I do it manually. But, maybe there is no simple solution....
I'm happy with the NX version, but if I want to upgrade to XT, how do I do it? I looked on the upgrade options for XT and upgrading from NX, is not there.
