I already own Ps CS6 and after buying a subscription to the Cloud, tried to download PsCS 6 Extended, but it wouldn't come through. I tried to download the trial version before I purchased the subscription, but that didn't come through either.
View 20 RepliesCurrently I am running PhotoShop extended CS5, 64bit. in which i have my fovorite plugins (Topaz, Nik and OneOne) running perfectly.
I have upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud and installed PhotoShop extended CS6 using Adobe Application Manager as recommended. It didn't ask me if I wanted to upgrade or do a new install for PhotoShop. So now I CS6 running with no Plug-ins. I need my plugins! LOL.
I tried pointing to additional plugins in the CS6 preference to the CS5 plugin folder. Upon Launch it gave me a whole slew of error messages saying something cant load or launch C+ runtime error or what not. It does open up, but it only gives access to Nik and Topaz. OnOne doesn't show up under filters or extensions.
So, what are my options?
Just copy the plugins from CS5 to CS6?
I dont't want to reinstall all the plugins to CS6 if I don't have to as I've auto updated them over time to current versions online, so only have installation files for my original purchases.
Can I buy and download Photoshop without subscribing to Creative Cloud? I just want to by Photoshop and not have a monthly subscription to something.

Creative Cloud is a desktop app so you'll want to download it from your computer.
I started the download from the Creative Cloud by clicking the Try link. The application manager downloaded and ran fine. The Photoshop download has been stuck at 99% for 20 minutes and counting. No error messages...yet. Running Mac OSx 10.8.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am missing all the default Plug-ins from Photoshop CS6 from the Creative Cloud. I have uninstalled it. Used the Adobe Cleaner Tool. Done this over and over 4x and the Plug-ins are still missing from the new installation. It is like the Cloud is only re-installing the previous bad version. I also check don't migrate and don't save preferences.

I don't have a 3D button, I had the 3D ver. with the beta CS6 and when CS6 was made avail for purchase I got it but the 3D was gone. And after seeing it was on the Creative Cloud I subscribed and downloaded it but still no 3D button.

I restored my computer and lost my Photoshop files and save logs, so now I am back to square one and need to get a copy of CS4 Extended downloaded as I still have a key from the original product i purchased, but my DVD/CD drive do not work on my laptop. I own Photoshop CS5 (not the Extended), and need to re-download that version (I had upgraded via Adobe website). The only version I see offered is the Extended, which I do not need or want.

In effect, this is suggesting that it’s for clients that already had CS3 and above.My plan on the creative cloud adobe website also suggests the same. The only time I was made aware of this need to already own CS3 or above was after I placed the order.
As a result, I am not able to download Photoshop CC or Lightroom 5 from within the Creative Cloud client.I think due to this mis-information on the Adobe website as shown above, I should still be entitled to this offer.I will contact Adobe sales support to see what they can do.
I'm already subscribed to CC for CS6, but can't get Extended to use the 3D aspect.

However when in the program itself using the update didn't show any updates for Photoshop CS6 only Illustrator cs6. And this update on the Adobe download site only appears to be available for the mac and not the pc.
So where is this update and what is the Adobe play to keep CS6 Suite of non-cloud products up-to-date.

I just installed Photoshop via my new Creatve Cloud subscription. Before doing so, I decided NOT to unistall my aleady installed Creative Suite 6 software - this included Photoshop CS6 STANDARD.I didn't uninstall my CS6 because I wanted to avoid any possible downtime + the Creative Cloud thing is a whole new experience for me, I wasn't sure how it would work.
Why didn't my PS CS6 Standard upgrade into PS CS6 Extended when I updated it with the Creative Cloud installer? There was no option to install Photoshop via the newly redesigned Adobe Application Manager, just "update".
I downloaded CS4 Extened and used the trial section, with the idea to purchace. Stupidly I inserted an expired serial number and now cant get the program to reload. I would like to purchase but need to know if I delete and re download will this work? If I need to purchase with re-downloading, it is fine but I need the sequence I need to get this right

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just recently (yesterday) became a member of the creative cloud. Now I am aware that my subscription (full individual subscription) allows me to use Photoshop CS6 Extended.
I previously had Photoshop CS6 Standard installed (my suspicion why it's not working properly) removed it and downloaded Photoshop via Application Manager, but it's still not the Extended version.
Also is there a way to keep the downloads because I'm constantly using photoshop at work (one of my main tools) and having to uninstalling and re downloading (which seems to take forever) is not the best solution.
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Photoshop cs6 extended (64bit) flashes black when clicking on canvas or on a layer. I can't get anything done, I have already uninstalled and reinstalled... all other Creative Cloud apps work fine. I'm using windows 8.

I didn't know there was a special way to delete adobe application so i just dragged it into a program called app cleaner and it deleted all the files. But it won't let me put cs6 photoshop on my computer because it still thinks i have cs6 photoshop beta. how can i get photoshop back onto my computer.

Adobe is really good at graphics I dont trust them as far as I can throw them with my credit information.Why are you changing my desktop icons without my permission. Yea do whatever you want to. Down here in the south we have a little something called uninstall.
