i would like to know how to transfer the adobe software from this old timer to my new wammydyne laptop. i am going blind bald and crazy waiting around for this old clunker and i dont have to ware a mouth guard to use the new one. i dont ever plan to use the software on the old one again i just want to do a total transfer.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI created a document in AICS6. I duplicated the document in AICS6 resulting in two identical documents, "A" and "B." I created six color swatches in document "A" and named them. I saved this file and drew six little squares and filled them with each of the six swatches. I saved the file. I copied the little squares from document "A" and pasted them into document "B," its clone. The names of the swatches did not transfer to document "B" nor did they appear in the swatch palette under any name.
They are nothing more than CMYK combinations in document "B." This is absurd, but not unexpected from such an horrible piece of software as AI. Is there some preference I need to invoke?

I originally created an image in Illustrator and transfered it to Photoshop so i can change the hues. Now I want to take that Photoshop file and transfer it back to Illustrator but the the edges on the object are very jagged and rough whilst the object in Photoshop is smooth and the transition of gradients is smooth.

I duplicated one of my previously created CS6 Adobe Illustrator files (28 MB) with photos that have clipping masks. Why is my new AI file now 148 MB in size, when all of my newly linked jpeg graphics total only 9 MB? If I save it as a regular pdf it's 148MB, but if I save this same file with the smallest size pdf format, it reduces it down to only 242 KB. No files are embedded either in my newly created AI file. My business associate working on other Illustrator files experiences this same phenomenon sporadically at times too. It has us both baffled.
