View 7 RepliesI've an illustrator document that has a code badge design. The bade design includes a 4 digit code that will alter 61 times but only in terms of the digits. I've set up my artwork into 2 layers with type on the top and the graphic underneath. Is there a way of using a script or code to export the graphic with each of the 61 codes or do I need to modify the Ai file 61 times and export 61 seperate raster images?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI've run in to a rather troubling issue where Illustrator seems to be exporting images with a very subtle white grid overlay. The raw images do not have this grid, neither do the images as viewed in Illustrator. The grid appears when exporting as .png and .jpg in a variety of resolutions.

I have problem when exporting selected only artwork to eps. The artwork itself contains standard fill objects with no strokes and no special effect on each object (drop shadow, powerclip, etc). On EPS Export dialog I change nothing, just clicked OK button.
The problem is there is no sign if the process success or fail. The file created only have zero bytes. The File>Exit menu is dimmed. When I try to close the document, it say:
Some of the documents could not be closed, because tasks are being performed in the background. Check the status bar of each opened document to see what tasks are being performed and their progress.
I can't close the document and exit the program, so I have to use Task Manager. Also if I continue to edit the artwork, i.e. selecting an object inside a group, the program crashed.

I just recently started having an issue with lightroom 5.3, I import a raw file into lightroom then edit it in photoshop (through lightroom) then i save the file through photoshop and it appears next to the original file in lightroom. When I export the edited image it also exports the original unedited file as well? how to change this? Its very annoying having the original copy of the file exported as well.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIn Lightroom 4.1 when rating (flags, stars or colors) a selected group of images all images selected will have the same flag applied. For instance if I select 10 images to view in the survey mode to compare and select 1 to be flagged as rejected all 10 will be flagged rejected, not just the one. Is there a way to turn this off to select a group of images and flag each differently?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have this file with multiple layers of text.
I want to print the file with these layers selected individually, so that if I have two text layers "Cow" and "Dog", I get two similar images with different text.
How would i automate this? It would take a lot of work to select each layer and save the files individually.
Importing images from specific folders is including images from outside selected folders.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI can't reproduce this consistently; but I've had this happen many times now.
Product - Lightroom 5 on OS/X 10.8.4.
I select two images in the develop module filmstrip to pick the best one for export, the images are usually stacked in the Library.I use the side by side compare tool (C) to compare the images.I may go back to the develop module to adjust setting on one or both images.
At some point I will unselect the image I don't want to export in the filmstrip, then press Command + Shift + E to export.
LR will sometimes export both images even though only one is selected in the filmstrip.
If I go back to the Library before exporting then LR will only export the selected image.
I just imported approximately 1500 raw images shot with my Nikon D800. Approximately 75 of the files would not import and I got LR4 unable to import message for those files.
All images were NEFs and most seem to be in clusters among the 1500 files. The images all show up in CS5 Bridge and Camera Raw 6.7 and open just fine in Photoshop CS5. They will show up in LR4 if I convert them to DNGs.
I just figured out that this is happening only with images that were shot at a 16:9 ratio, all other images were shot at the default 2:3 ratio. I would still like to understand why images shot at 16:9 won't show up in LR4.
Since "upgrading" to lightroom 5.2 I've been plauged by it applying whatever I do to the image I'm on as well as the next image. The second image is not chosen - I only have one image selected. Whether I'm trying to do a correction, a crop, give it a number of stars, edit in Photoshop - it always affects two images at once.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI selected just 1/2 images of a folder, yet LR imports them all anyway.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having 2 problems.
When I am in lightroom's library (3.5), I would like to change the time of capture for multiple photos, and apply keywords.
However, when I perform either of those actions, the changes are only applied to the image shown in the "more brightly highlighted" image, not all that are selected.
Is there a setting I am missing? I just cannot seem to figure out why this is not working.
Also, I aplogize if my searching skills are weak and this has been covered already. I did attempt to see if this question has been answered before posting.
I'm using LR3.6. Haven't upgraded to 4.1 yet. I created a PS droplet that I want to use in my LR Externa Editor. Everything works fine as far as calling the droplet from LR. However, when I select multiple images in LR, then go to external editor and select "Edit In <droplet name>", wait for the "What do Edit" dialogue box, select "Edit a copy with LR adjustments" and hit "edit", it only takes the very first highlighted image in the selection into PS to run the droplet/actions. Even if I just choose the droplet name as an external editor preset (instead of the "Edit in" option), it still only applies to the first image in the highlighed selection.
On occassions I get lucky and get it to work for multiple images but I can never get it to work again. For instace, I tried it from the Library module (instead of the develop module) and it worked flawlessly. On the next set of images, I could not get it to work again.
I really need to be able to run this over night. By the way, I know that I can use the droplet on Export, but I really want to round trip my images from LR to PS and back into LR without having to Export, run droplet and reimport.
I just want rendered TIF files. From Bridge I can open them in ACR and save as TIF but then I have the old rendering rather than the new rendering in LR4.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI seem to be having a problem upon exporting the file to a PDF, which is very image heavy. All of the images in the file are at least 300 DPI if not much, much larger. However, when I export to PDF the image resolutions are very low. When I sent it to the printer (who does not accept CorelDraw files so it has to be PDF) they remarked upon the low resolution and you can tell the quality is terrible on the proof. When I print a copy of the brochure on just our color printer at work (same size as the brochure...it is not larger) the images are completely fine. What am I doing incorrectly?
View 12 Replies View RelatedI would make any sort of graphic, then save the file to my computer, and the color would be very, very much "off". The color would often times show as lighter, and it's totally not the same color as it were inside the PS workspace. I'll show an example between the photo "before & after". This is happening whether or not I use "save for web" or the save as feature, and whether I save it as a JPG, GIF, PNG, etc.
I took a screen shot of my desktop while I was in PS, and cropped just that section in Fireworks to make the buttonFWG.
My continuing story of space issues. Find that I'm rapidly running out of space now that my wife has been uploading way too many 24 mpixel files (~30Gb total) to my Lightroom 5 catalog. Is there any way to export her RAW files to a thumb drive or another external hard drive? The only export functions I see are conversions to Jpegs.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSteps to reproduce:
1. Take a screenshot of something in your web browser (macintosh CMD+SHIFT+4) to the clipboard.
2. Select File > New from the menu. Clipboard should be the selected Preset.
3. Notice how in CS6 the color profile under "Advanced" is "Display" and NOT "sRGB" — in CS5 it is sRGB.
4. Paste from the clipboard into your new document and get the color profile mis-match warning if you are in CS6.
It is either not picking the color space of the clipboard properly like it will in CS5, or I am missing something somewhere.
Nothing I do in an attempt to fix this is working. I have sRGB set as my default profile in color settings, and nothing I do changes this setting for the "Clipboard" preset.
I am getting sick of forgetting to manually select "sRGB" every time, opening up a new document sized to my clipboard and then getting the color profile mismatch warning when I paste in the clipboard contents!
I take so many screenshots as I develop websites this is a CONSTANT problem as I am constantly creating new documents from the clipboard to check alignments, zoom in to get color samples, and many other reasons.
According to 'About Lightroom;
this is what I'm running:
<Lightroom 3.6, Camera Raw 6.6>
I used to 'merge to panorama', or 'open as layers' in Photoshop regularly, but today it no longer works. When I try, the message comes up: "This version of Lightroom may require the Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in version 6.6 for full compatibility. Please update the Camera Raw plug-in using the update tool available in the Photoshop help menu."
When I go to Photoshop Help Menu, 'no available updates at this time' is the message that comes up. I manually downloaded the Camera Raw 6.6, but to no avail.
When attempting to edit using PS, the program DOES open, but nothing happens... the files do not appear. They DO open individually when Edit in Photoshop CS4 is selected, but I prefer the 'open in layers' option, and often use the 'merge to panorama'...
Is there a way to load selected images into PS layers as smart objects?

slicing web images (navs, UIs, ect.) and exporting them to HTML files.
I know when you create slices in ImageReady and Save Optimized As..., they are exported in HTML and are put together with tables. Now, my question is:
Is there any way to export them as HTML, but then have them pieced together with "tableless", CSS design? For example, instead of aligning everything up by way of using tables, is there a way to align everything by way of using CSS?
How do I get pictures from photoshop to an email?
