Okay, I'm working on this image:

The image in the middle is my .gif, and it is playing on the football field/players/text background. However, when I save the .gif, the background is the 1st frame, and then disappears from the 2nd frame onward as the .gif plays. How can I make the .gif play on the background?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have followed about a dozen tutorials on how to make a background transparent and it seems as though I am doing everything right but... When I go to import my new image to PrintMaster it gives me a warning that the transparency may turn black. It does darken the transparency and has a noticable rectangle around the image that should have a transparent background. I have tried exporting the image in every form possible and nothing seems to work.

I have a .gif that I want to tile across the canvas of an image to use as a background. Then I have a normal image I want to show on top of that. The main issue seems to be the tiling, as when I export the whole thing as a gif, it plays each iteration of the gif before going onto the next one. I want to know how I can get them all to play at once.

I'm not a graphic artist, but I do have a task I would like to accomplish, so a couple of quick questions?
It's been over 10 years since I experimented with graphics software of any kind other than resize and/or convert from one format to another.
Scenario to illustrate my question:
I create a new graphic, of X by Y proportions. Create a black circle in the center of the graphic. Save graphic.
When I import the graphic into a document, web page, email composition window, etc., I would like only the black circle to display when the background is a color other than white. IOW, I want the unused/blank part of the graphic to be transparent.
I've found the online manual to be confusing to follow, since I can't easily "thumb" through the pages to see a picture of the effect I want to accomplish, and I'm not sure of the correct terminology.
I found a PDF manual for 2.4, are there instructions that cover this? I'm not really interested in printing it, or having it printed. If the manual were for 2.6, I would consider having it printed.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have 5 layers with white artwork and a black filled layer but make animation sees also the black background end up flashing on and off. Can one have a frame to stay under the animation and stay on at all times ?
Obviously if this was in Flash it would sit on a lower layer and exist for the entire duration of the animation, but I am hoping to avoid keep having to take artwork as png into p shop , create movie clip, etc etc then back to Photoshop to adjust artwork.
The problem certainly has been discussed all over the place, but I've yet to find an answer in all of my research. And the problem hasn't been limited to only CS6 (earliest reported cases involve CS2), but that's what I'm in now...

Win7 Pro SP1 64-bit
8 GB RAM
CS6 Extended 64-bit
Issue:
Print screen image 01 captured (using the PrtScn key on the keyboard) to Windows' clipboard pastes into Photoshop document. Print screen image 02 captured to Windows' clipboard does not paste into Photoshop document, but instead image 01. Delete unwanted layer and capture image 02 again, and this time Photoshop pastes in image 02. Curiously, the problem is not remedied by Photoshop's menu Edit, Purge, Clipboard.
This problem does not occur in other applications like in Paint for example - only in Photoshop.

View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen I import a short AVCHD or MPG (~ 1 min., 100 mb) into Premiere Pro CS6 or After Effects CS6, it plays great. When I import the same file into Photoshop CS6 on the same computer, it's jerky, even with sound off, frame skipping enabled, cached, and no other applications running.
System is a Core i7 with 8 gb RAM, 1.5 gb nVidia GeForce, Win 7 x64 and DirectX 11. All drivers ruthlessly updated.
I have a Pegasus R4 and an IMac 16G RAM.
Playback is not in real time with 10 bits uncompressed 4k scan.
I chose the option "Play From Memory" and surprise I can play only 40 frames.
QUESTION : where can I change the quantity of RAM to read more images ?
If you can use gimp or another (hopefully free) program to insert a music or sound file into an image, or signature say, and have it play when you hover your mouse over it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedIt used to be that whenever i would move the cursor in adobe premier with either the left or right arrows or by simply clicking and dragging it, it would play the audio from that frame. But it is not doing it anymore, I think i must have accidently hit a shortcut key or something to change it in settings i dont know. But it would be good if I could get the setting to change it back. I know for a fact that my laptops speakers do work, so its not that.

I want to have it to where I can have both of my stop motion sequences playing in the same frame, side by side. I have a sequence of my character doing one thing on side, and another one doing something different, and I want to mash them together to look like they happened at the same time. View 5 Replies View RelatedI was asked to cut out the background from a logo to make it transparent so the logo would look nice on a variety of backgrounds. I've been given a good quality jpeg file.
What I did was I selected (by colour) the background (white), inverted the selection, copied it and pasted as a new image.
It's all fine (the logo itself doesn't have any other elements) but there's still some whiteish/greyish outline around certain elements of the logo.
If I were to do it manually, it'd probably take ages. What would be the best way to accomplish it?
I want to change a 1920-1080 p background, into a 1920 - 1200 background.
I don't want to re-size it or lose image quality, the background for this can be easily replicated through some simple editing (drawing strait lines with the paint brush tool, and basically filling in to expand the background) Is there a way to do this? Here is the picture I want to change:

I just want it so that the pin-wheel design extends outward as to make the entire image 1920-1200, rather then the 1920-1080 it is now. (without losing image quality of the center wheel.)
Is it possible in Photoshop CS6, to make the tab background go away? I find the background box that you need to work in, gets in my way. I cant see the finder/desktop underneath it like I could in CS5.
