When I have multiple files open, the tabs at the top look like this:
These are roughly twice as large as I'd like them. I've been able to customize virtually everything else (which is awesome!), but I can't seem to find a way to change the tab style here...
So, is there a way to do this, replace the previews with file names, or something like that?
I am trying to batch plot to PDF's from a drawing file that has multiple tabs in it. I would like each tab to be a separate PDF file. We are utilizing Acrobat X to write the PDF's. AutoCAD places all of the tabs into one file whether I tell a Multi-sheet file or a Single-sheet file.
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhat I'd like to do is adjust the color and brightness/contrast of many layers of an animation. Now, for a still image with many layers I know you can generally add a partially transparent layer over the whole thing, however, since it's an animated .gif I have to do the same thing to each individual layer. I could probably go through and do it by hand and just get it over with. But, I'm curious if there's a feature for this, or is there a plugin that can repeat actions for multiple layers?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to export multiple layout tabs to create individual CAD files at one time? I have a CAD file with 80 layout tabs. All the Drafting work was done on Paper Space of the Layout Tabs. Client wants 80 separate CAD files.
I tried right clicking on the layout tab but it will ONLY allow me to export one tab at a time.
It does trouble me especially during setting "drop shadow", "inner glow" and "stroke". In previous version, if this problem came up, I can solve it by clicking another layer and then double-clicking the original layer to pop up the style setting.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just started working with Architecture 2011, so perhaps there is some strange issue at work here, but I haven't come across it previous releases. Whenever I switch from model tab (in 2D wireframe) to a layout tab and then back to model space, the visual style automatically switches itself to "Wireframe" or "3D Parallel Project", instead staying 2D Wireframe. It is highly annoying as I have to hit the 2D Wireframe button on the Visual Style Menu everytime a switch. This also occurs everytime a hit the Save button. It won't stay put in the visual style that it should.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIn CS5, and in various documentation it doesn't appear possible to be a way to move multiple anchor points (as it is, in Photoshop). If this is the case... are you kidding me? Even Photoshop can do this.
Quite frankly, on my return to Illustrator, it's, as expected, Adobe has pulled a fast one with their suite of software. What was broken years ago is still broken today.
Photoshop needs the ability to add gradients to shapes, path brushing, symbols, ie the functionality of Illustrator needs to be placed into Photoshop.
I am trying to publish multiple tabs in to PDF. But when I do publish command, I get one PDF for each tab, I don't want that. I want all the tabs to be plotted into one PDF. I tried going into the option of publish and set it to multi-sheet dwg, but that doesn't seem to solve the issue.
BTW I am using Acad 2009.
I have an old mac computer that I use for display for clients that has cs3 but when I opened photoshop the images are not displayed in tabs. I have been to Windows>arrange but the only options I have are
cascade
tile horizontal
tile vertical
the preferences panel does not have interface>open documents in tabs
and I cant remember where else to look. Hope some-one can remember this far back.
Is there any way to cause Inventor to convert a multi-sheet IDW to an Autocaf DWG file that puts each IDW sheet on it's own tab in the dwg?

This so we can do batch printing and not have to maunually assemble dwg file with multiple tabs from the individual dwg files generated by Inventor - as near as I can tell, there is no way to get Inventor to NOT create a separate dwg for each sheet in the IDW???
I am currently working on a large drawing that has many tabs (145), I have made a mistake midway and would like to find a way I can rename them quicker than "Right Clicking" on each tab to change it. That will be very time consuming.
Also, is there a way to print a list of all of the current layouts within a drawing.
When the "Open Documents as Tabs" checkbox is UNCHECKED, opening multiple documents via File > Open will open them as intended: stacking them on top of each other. However, dragging multiple documents onto the PS tab in the taskbar, or dragging them directly onto PS application surface will NOT have this effect and will open the documents in tabbed mode regardless of the prefs settings. THIS IS !%$@#$ ANNOYING!!! I hope adobe considers fixing this without making me pay a gazillion bucks for another update for a bug fix.

Whenever i touch to adjust brush size by mouse it always is like this: brush size 334 or brush size 554.. Why it is so easy to pick 400size brush and almost imposible to pick 40 size brush?
Brush are? its like 500px wide.. since when small brushes are obsolete?? i never use bigger brush than 50! and most of the time i use brushes that are less than 10(value)

I have a set of icons which are a specific color (blue) with white text on them. I want to change them to be a different color(turquoise) and a fair bit darker, but I want the text to remain white. When I use Colors -> Hue-Saturation, I can get the desired color I want, but the text ends up looking grey because I need to bring down the lightness slider to achieve the color I want. Is there a better way to accomplish the task I need without affecting the white?

Any LISP routine that can create multiple paper space layout tabs and can name them incrementally. I have a template and I wanted to copy tab2 of my layout multiple times and name them incrementally. Is there a way to change a specific attribute in a block found over x-amount of papers pace tabs?
At current I can only change one tab at a time.

issues switching layout tabs by clicking on the tabs?
Occasionally, clicking the Model or other layout tab results in no action, as if I'm not clicking on it.
All other controls (within and external to C3D) function normally so it's not a mouse hardware issue.
It will usually correct itself if I "restore down" the main application window, then maximize it again.
The -layout command is a workaround too.
