AutoCAD 2013 :: No Other Programs Other Than Google Chrome
May 21, 2013Is this a Windows 8 issue or an Autocad issue? I mean this thing crashes at random. Its not like I'm runnign a lot...1 version of autocad....no other programs other than google chrome...We have a lot of macs runnign LT I think 2013 with no issues.

GIMP :: 2.8.2 - Can't Access Stencil Chrome Filter

When i go to filters-decor i see both the Stencil chrome and Stencil carve options grayed out.
I of course made sure no alpha channel is present , and my picture is black and white ( jpg).
Is there a way to get this filter to work, or do i need to go to photoshop ?

May 8, 2012I am using Autocad LT 2013. I wish to use Autocad to draw subdivision lines and need to overlay satellite imagery (Google Earth or Google Maps) in tandem with Garmin GPS waypoints taken in the field.
In the 'type a command' ribbon, when I type in 'GEOGRAPHICLOCATION' and select 'Import the current location from Google Earth' (opens Google Earth, where you can retrieve a location to import).
Then a window appears which says 'Navigate to the location in Google Earth that you want to import before continuing (for best results, configure the view in Google Earth to look directly over the location that you want to import).
When I select 'continue' the command ribbon asks that I, 'select a point for the location <0, 0, 0>:
I have looked at the co-ordinates on google earth and attempted to enter but it does not feel right. Then says 'specify the north direction or (angle):s, then 'Point or option keyword required'.
Any way to have the ability to draw subdivision lines on satellite imagery. Garmin's Basecamp will allow drawing on top of google earth but I do not want tracks, I will only use the waypoints made by the gps device, but I need to draw measured lines that reflect the co-ordinates of the location.

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Creating Layout Tabs For Plan And Profile Sheets
Dec 18, 2013I am running civil 3D 2014 and have several lisp file that I have added to my startup suite. I am creating layout tabs for plan and profile sheets and use my lisps continuously and then all of the sudden it tell me that it's an "unknown command". I have closed the program and reopened the drawing an I realized that my start up suite is now empty.

The browser pane sets to "No Browser"The actual part window is not maximised inside the Inventor but in "normal" mode.
If I click on the brower I can go into Model mode, and the No Browser option disappears.
And I can simply maximise the window using the maximise icon in the part Window.
But how do I do these programatically? And why is there no Model browser by default?
This is C++ COM from an external EXE.

These are roughly twice as large as I'd like them. I've been able to customize virtually everything else (which is awesome!), but I can't seem to find a way to change the tab style here...
So, is there a way to do this, replace the previews with file names, or something like that?

Occasionally, clicking the Model or other layout tab results in no action, as if I'm not clicking on it.
All other controls (within and external to C3D) function normally so it's not a mouse hardware issue.
It will usually correct itself if I "restore down" the main application window, then maximize it again.
The -layout command is a workaround too.

Mar 3, 2012I am wondering how to use the plug in browser as if I am correct a plug in that is properly installed should show here and the tree view show where to access it.
Under file -->create -->buttons we have round buttons and simple beveled buttons but in the plug in browser tree view they come under file -->create .
Some of the plugins that do show up (3D outline) are temporary procedures. many others I cant even find (speed text). Is the problem the plug in browser or me if me where am I wrong ?
