View 5 RepliesBut I wouldn't be able to upload a hundred tiny, plain images. I made this to add onto the background removal FAQ. I hope it's accepted.

I use Adobe Master Collection CS6, but when i open Photoshop, i don't find the option to have 2 or more images on the same screen on the same time ?
Â
I never had problems before, and still use Photoshop Extended CS4 with the option into the menu bar !
I'm working on a video for a teacher at school. It involves him teaching for a bit, his whiteboard needs to have the slides on.
We filmed from two cameras simultaneously - neither straight on to the board. Is there any way to rotate the slides so as to make them fit the board?
sometimes when I try and load an image it won't actually appear int he workspace. I can see it in the Navigator thumbnail and it's got a check next to the filename in the Window dropdown, but I cannot see it anywhere nor can I seem to be able to make it appear. Am I missing something or is there a shortcut key to force the image to the center of the screen/workspace? I have the latest Nvidia drivers installed and I've even downgraded to PS running in 32-bit mode, with no better luck. I finally disabled OpenGL which seems to fix the issue.

I'm on a MacBook Pro, 2.66 Ghz Core i7, 10.7.3, 8 GB of RAM
I just installed CS4 and when I open any image it either has a weird screen over it or a bunch of triangles, some black and some from the image. Doesn't matter what type of image. I tried removing cs4, turning off virus protection and reinstalling but same problem. CS3 and Lightroom 2 work fine. Images look OK in Bridge. Running Windows Vista 32 bit, 3MB RAM, Intell Core Duo 2 CPU, ATI Radeon Graphics HD 2600 XT Processor and I did look for the latest driver update in the graphics processor. Doesn't matter at what size I view the image--it just changes the type of corruption I see.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm a longtime user of PSP 8 and just downloaded the trial version of PSP X5, thinking to buy it. With PSP 8, if I wanted to edit two images on the screen at the same time, I loaded them both into the program and then used the minimize button at the upper right hand of each image to switch them out of full-screen mode and put them next to each other. PSP X5 no longer has the minimize buttons attached to the images. I can tab back and forth from one image to the other, but I can't figure out how to put them both on the screen simultaneously. Is this feature still present somewhere in PSP X5? How do I access it?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm here with 2013 SP2 64 bit Build 200 and two screens. Left screen is graphics area, Browser is on the left of right screen. Graphics is ATI Fire Pro V7800 with driver 9.3.3.3000.
In video (zipped MP4)Â you see a cutout of both screens, think of screens changing at the left of the browser.
Now, in many cases, after doing an operation, the browser is jumping back to the middle of my graphics in the left screen.
As you will see from my attached image all of my open images are now sitting outside of the screen. To get them to appear on the screen again I have to hold down the PS logo at the bottom of my screen, which then brings them up as per the image, then click to select an image. This then brings it onto the main screen. But I have to do this with each image individually. How to bring them all up at once? Or how to turn off this feature completely?

I'm placing screen captures (screen images from software) in my artwork files to add callouts and create illustrations for a user manual.
Â
The machine I'm capturing on has a screen resolution set at 1920 x 1080 (required for software). I'm using Snagit and capturing the screens, saving files, then placing in Illustrator. I've been using images minimum 300 dpi and never upsizing in Illustrator. Still I think my results could be better.
Â
In the past I've used .jpg as my export filetype for placing into Illustrator. But, recent reads of postings in this community lead me to believe my practice might be flawed.
Â
Question: What is considered best practice for placing images from screen capture (or any source) in Illustrator? What file type from capture will get me the clearest and most adaptable results?
Â
My Illustrator file color mode is CMYK and my other art and callouts supporting the screen cap are working great.

I'm creating the artwork for import to Framemaker and creating a PDF for online and print.
All my images have a bar across the top which says 'the file name is missing or offline' this is on the screen.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen opening an image in Photoshop CS6, in order to make the best use of the available screen area for viewing my photos, I have to either press the 'Fit Screen' option, at the top, or double-click the Hand Tool. Why doesn't the image fully fit in the available screen area automatically, when first opening? Is there a reason for images to open by default with empty space surrounding it, or is it an oversight by Adobe, in how the application works?
View 18 Replies View RelatedI make an image 15.8 x 29.8 and when it prints out on my canon 8300 it is only 15.5 x 29.5 actual size measured on the canvas. the image is designed to wrap over the edge of stretchers 15 x29. the pics are 3 tenths inch short!
another pic is 15.5 x 29.25 instead of 15.5 x 29.5 so it is 1/4 inch short the long direction.don't recall having this problem before so why are the images not the same size in print that they are on the screen?
How do I fix blurry prints of clear screen images?
View 1 Replies View Related(I use Macromedia Freehand MX), I just recently download the trial illustrator, and my question is to know how to open points in Illustrator images for screen printing in freehand using the Halftone in Illustrator I've tried but is not the same as the finish is different and of very poor quality here is a sample as freehand and illustrator as stated in:
Look at the difference of points:
As you can see in Illustrator can only do that from the menu: Effects / Pixelate / Color Halftone... , not sharp as seen in the picture above and therefore the image does not get to see very well, while in freehand if you can manipulate the points from large fine to a point, points also can be made round, linear or ellipse and therefore may work better for screenprints and other designs that open nesecitan points at home. What I'm interested to know if there is another way to work so that the image is sharp with the open items as well as in freehand.
A few photos from my digital camera that I cannot re-take, the pictures are blurry, how would I go about correcting the blurry photographs using gimp?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just loaded Gimp 2.8 from 'ppa:otto-kesselgulasch/gimp' with the idea of using the 'all-in-one' new arrangement. I am using Mint 13 Maya and the new gimp interface is not yet in the repository.
That said, having opened the 'new' gimp I see the docks arrangement is a bit different. Whereas there used to be two docks one on either side of the drawing area, now the right hand dock is split screen.
The problem is that just for say the colour wheel it uses loads of screen space. I know I can toggle between 'all-in-one' and multi-mode but they both have a split screen for the docks on the right.
I don't see any obvious way to move the colour wheel dock back to where it has been under the toolbox and brushes docks.
Maybe this is a fixed arrangement in 2.8, if so I will have to go back to my Mint 13 native version.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a netbook Acer AspireOne D255e, which max resolution is 1024x600. When I try to run GIMP, it's impossible to use it, because all the tools disappear on the window.
Is there the possibility to resize the GIMP window to fit on my screen?
For some reason, when I bring up the scale tool, the toolbox appears to the right of the screen, half cut off and under the Gnome toolbor. I've tried moving it, but it is being stubborn. This appears to be the only box having this problem, right now.

Gimp 2.8.10
I dowloaded Gimp 2.8, but the tool box is not on the opening screen. In fact, no windows are showing. I went through a couple of tutorials on the dockable windows. But I still don't see where the tool box window is. I see tool options and tool presets, but I don't see too box. How to get the default screen with the tool box to show up? It's my first time using Gimp. I accidentally downloaded 2.6 and noticed it did have the correct windows open. But I want to learn Gimp on 2.8.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI am the greenest of the green when it comes to GIMP. I have installed GIMP 2.6.7 on my Mac OSX (Snow Leopard). Although I've had it for a while, I've not used it because it's just too darn confusing!!
What is the X11 part?? When I open Gimp, I have a screen that takes up the entire screen, black n white, then there are 3 GIMP windows. I am unable to view any of the computer toolbars. I just can't figure it out?
Also, when I click on GIMP and the application name comes up on the top left there are no other options (ie: file, edit, view, and so on) just GIMP. I feel that I've done something wrong.
I'm trying to learn how to work with layers...I'm guessing a layer...ok, if I take a picture of a candle, I get the candle (layer1) then whatever I have the candle sitting on (layer2) What I'm wanting to do, for example, is take the candle and JUST have the candle....no background, just the candle, as if it is floating all by itself.
Now, am I right in the thinking that working with layers, this is how to achieve the candle all by itself, only layer1?
uninstall GIMP and reinstall? Only reason I'm asking is when I see only GIMP in the top left corner....aren't there supposed to be other options along the top??
I have about 2500 screen shots in png-format. I need to convert them all into b/w-pictures. How could this be done easily? Furthermore (but I guess that will be the issue in another list), I will have to run all these screenshots through an OCR-program. So what would be the best output-format for these screen shots?
