CorelDRAW X6 :: Export For Web Keeps Crashing?
Jul 18, 2013Whenever I try to export a graphic as a jpeg the program crashes. I tried clicking off the "enable background tasks" option that seemed to fis eps exports.

Jan 16, 2012I've recently got a new computer, and after installing corel on it, I've found that I am unable to open files with corel, as soon as i press the open button corel crashes, but i am able to open the files when i goto the actual file in my documents and click open in there, and i am unable to save files any way whatsoever (due to crashing isues again) i am also unable to export my artwork to a jpeg, also an immediate crash.

I am using the latest verton of Mavericks and it only happens when I hit export to media.I also checked adobe media encoder and that gets the same error message and cause.

Apr 15, 2013My Corel VS X6 Pro is crashing during a MPEG-4 1920x1080 export at 69% complete. Happened twice in a row. The error message refers to this dump file. I have been able to export this same video before, this just started happening.
I tried to add the dump file as an attachment but the .DMP extension is not allowed.
Lightroom :: 4 Crashing In Export Panel?
May 18, 2012Lightroom 4 is regularly crashing when I Export and choose a folder in which to save the files. I'm using Windows 64 bit. Basically, it freezes and I get an error message "Lightroom has stopped working, Windows in looking for a solution" (which it doesn't seem to have found, yet.)

Jan 24, 2014I'm having a major issue exporting a sequence out of premier pro CS5 that contains high res jpeg images. The system freezes up during the export. I've been successful exporting the sequence to H.264 (vimeo HD preset) after removing the jpeg. So, I am fairly confident it I've isolated the issue. However, I've gone over the recommended jpeg file sizes for premier pro and am well within the guidelines. The images I'm using are saved at a resolution of 300dpi with a size of about 5600 (w) x 3700 (h) pixels for an average of about 61 megapixels per image. The sequence plays just fine within premier pro. There is only a problem when I go to export.

Jan 27, 2014My PC will crash when attempting to export in Premiere Pro, I will get the blue screen.
I ran a memory diagnostic test to see if it was the ram, it did not come back as having faulty ram.
Somtimes the pc will just freeze too.
Seems like this only happens with adobe.
I somtimes could export a file after attempting 2-3 times but now it crashes almost every time.
I have tried many different export formats but it seems to not be limited to just one format, it happens with all formats.
I have tried to find a solution but I still have not.

CorelDRAW X5 :: Crashing - Too Many Layers?
Feb 14, 2012I am using Corel Draw X5. I have installed Service Pack 3 and the latest hot fix. I have reinstalled both Windows XP and Corel Graphics Suite.
Corel Draw crashes on a regular basis. Seems to occur only with drawing files with many layers. I design waterway signs of which some are similar with only a directional arrow pointing a different direction. For example "4 Knot Speed Limit - In Direction Indicated" with a left arrow below this text. The other similar sign would have the same symbology and text just with the arrow pointing to the right. To add functionality of multiple signs in a single drawing file I have separate layers for different sign elements so each can be turned on/off as needed. This has increased the number of layers in my drawings. Does Corel Draw have a limit to the number of layers a drawing file can have? I regularly have around 12 layers.
Corel Draw's instability has gotten to the point I do not trust the software. My workflow now is; 1. create the sign drawing file, 2. save the file, 3. run another separate Corel Draw session, 4. Open the file I am working on (this is where Corel Draw crashes and there is no way to open this file) 5. If Coreldraw crashes open a new coreldraw file in a separate session, 6. Create a layer for each layer in the open file, 7. Copy each element from the open drawing (one layer at a time), 8. Close the original drawing, 9. Save the recreated drawing, 10. Test to see if this new file is corrupt by opening it in a new coreldraw session.
CorelDRAW X5 :: Publish To PDF Crashing
Nov 7, 2011When I use the Publish to PDF, it either creates a PDF file that is corrupt, or Corel itself crashes (Windows 7 64) give me a "this program has stopped working" error.
I tried uninstalling / reinstalling but it still does the same thing.

May 17, 2013Will Corel6 (or later) ever be able to export to a web page directly since the HTLM export doesn't work (drops links). The Corel Web program, or what ever its name is, was a joke. Its amazing that Corel work puts its name on a program that you could not open a CorelDraw file.
My current work around is to export to a JPG and then import that into dreamweaver and add the links there, then post. A pain but it works.
CorelDRAW X6 :: Keeps Crashing Upon Opening A File?
Oct 16, 2013 I am running the Coreldraw x6 suite on a PC laptop (I7 16GB ram 64bit) on Windows 8. I haven't had any issues lately until last week when it just crashed every time I opened a file. I tested it and if I create a file with just shapes in it, then it's fine. As soon as I add a font into the file it crashes and shows the attached image.
I checked the latest window updates and there hasn't been one recently that could have affected it. There was one for Flash and I removed it but no difference. I haven't made any changes to my computer in the last 2 weeks that could affect it and I don't have any viruses or trojans. I have also removed the Windows update from a while back that affected Coreldraw fonts.
I've even resorted to uninstalling and re-installing X6. I tried running the fresh install and the same thing happened again.

Most of the time when I am drawing and go to save my file, CorelDraw X5 will freeze up (not responding) and then crash. Most of the time, I can go and restart Corel, open my file and it will have saved where I wanted it to; but sometimes it will cause me to have to use the auto-backup or just the back up file.

Feb 21, 2013Anytime I import a piece of Clipart and I go to the Trace bitmap button>outline trace>line art the program freezes immediately. The diagbox doesn't even pop up, nor does it say "not responding" at the top.
I am running Win 8 but it has been running for months without a hitch. I have cleaned out temp files and reinstalled the suite and nothing happened.

I was previously working on 5 but when I pull items off of our server that were saved from my computer in version 5 it pops up a quick preview and then "Corel draw has stopped unexpectedly" However I can't just work from 5 because that's the reason why we upgraded my system to begin with. It was crashing out every 10 minutes (literally)
There's obviously a glitch here and it's starting to overwhelm me. We're on deadlines and I can't have my system crashing out. I need to be productive!
CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4 :: Crashing When Using Text (C++ Runtime Error)
Sep 19, 2011I am currently experiencing a big problem when using X4 which is causing some major headaches here in the Workplace!
Whenever I hit space, paste text or do anything involving fonts I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error folowed by a non-responding dialog with force close.
I have been using X4 for some years now and not sure what has caused this issue, it was fine in the morning and stopped working in the afternoon.
I have SP2 installed and no changes have been made to any settings to cause this.
X4 is the main programme I use here at work and this problem is grinding the place to a halt.

May 30, 2012I'm a LONG time Corel user -- back to version 4. Have been using X3 for years. Bought X5 but liked X3 better so I kept using it. (Basically only used X5 to import customer Illustrator files and PDFs that wouldn't import correctly into X3.)
Got new computer with Windows 7 and decided to upgrade to X6 64 bit. Overall it's been fine. Only using for a few days.
One thing I do are custom estimates for my clients. I keep several "stock" paragraphs of content on the desktop so I can copy and paste these into the estimate. Typically I just open an old estimate, rename it, and start the new estimate.
Opened X3 estimate in X6 and renamed it. Having some strange behaviors. The file was way too big. Should have been a couple hundred k and it was more than 4mb. Crashed several times. When I would add a page and copy content from a previous page, it would make the desktop grid printable, and I couldn't turn it off. Crashed some more.
Decided to start with a new X6 document. Copied pieces from the X3 file to make a new estimate template. File size now looks correct at a couple hundred k. Everything working fine except when I try to copy text from a paragraph box on the desktop INTO a paragraph box on the page it crashes. Not every time, but often.

Dec 3, 2012I am running a Windows XP machine with Corel Draw X6 (32 Bit) and under the Trace Bitmap option, Quick Trace will work but anything under the Centerline Trace and Outline Trace options will upset Corel Draw and freeze. The program does not say "Not Responding" but no functions will work or the mouse will not change cursor and the only way to exit is to end the task.I have run updates on the program and upgraded to X6.1 but with no luck, still the same issue.

Nov 10, 2011From time to time when saving a file the file gets corrupted. When trying to open the file, only a blank page is visible. Trying to open the file as zip says "error in packed file..." This happens several times a day (we are 5 users and this happens to everyone).
The out of memory issue is also a huge problem for us. This happens several times a day, often during printing.
Are Corel taking these issues seriously or don't you care about professional users which are dependent on reliable tools?
3 users at Win7-64, 2 at XP-32. All computers are top notch with all patches/updates installed.

Mar 28, 2012I was just trying the features of the new CorelDraw X6 recently. The first problem that I found was - it crashed when I tried to open a file (which was created using CorelDraw X5) with several Fonts (28 different script fonts used and there were only text in the file).
Then I again re-open corel X6 and when I tried to open the same file, it crashed again & again. I did this for 6 times with a crash everytime.
Then at the 7th time when I tried to open the same file in Corel X6, it just got hanged.The file is working fine (and opens quite fast) in Corel X5 as well as Corel X4.
I remeber similar problem happening with Corel X5 initially. Only after Service Pack 2 was made available for Corel X5, that problem solved. Is Corel X6 needs some patches too?

Computer memory is no longer the issue - 32 bit computer programs are.Until then I will stay with X4. run in Windows 7, 64 bit with 12 Gigs RAM.

Jun 15, 2012As I am corelian, i am using corel for emailer also, its great but sometimes only facing problem while exporting object for web i.e. suppose I require 650px of jpg or png image size and i put the same value but output image was not the same size it might be 647px or 648px and sometimes it give me thin white line either side of the image (left or right). it created problem in emailer's layout so i have to export it in larger size e.g 670px and then open into photoshop and resize into 650px.
