I was recently given a new CorelDRAW X6 update/service pack within the last month. Since then, when I export a Corel image to EPS, CorelDRAW X6 crashes. Be sure and SAVE before you export!
Well I use Corel draw X5 Service pack 2. Recently I have been having the problem of Corel draw crashing when I export any .cdr to pdf using any settings as long as the pages are more than 2 and the resolution is 300 dpi.
I have tried reinstalling it a couple of times but in vain.
We have CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5 installed on a Windows XP SP3 32-bit machine and when attempting to export a CorelDRAW file to anything (i.e. JPG), the applications crashes after the export dialog box opens. This happens for any file we try to export.
We have reset the workspace using F8, but it did not resolve the issue.
Exporting the same file in CorelDRAW X4 or even X3 works perfectly, this is only an issue with X5.
when you export any size graphic as a jpg (selected only or not) the dialogue box comes up empty, completely! when i go to close it, it crashes corel. If I tick the donot show filter dialogue box It makes a jpg image but i have no control over the settings. It works when I export to bmp! this is getting frustrating as I often have to jpeg some graphics for customers.
My issue is pretty straightforward, I cannot export to PNG unless I trash the Illustrator preferences (located in: user/Library/Preferences/Adobe Illustrator CS6 Settings/en_US/) BEFORE I start Illustrator. As soon as I close Illustrator, I must delete those preferences again the next time I start up the program or I won't be able to export a file.
- I recently upgraded to Mountain Lion, but I was having the same issues in Lion. - I have uninstalled the whole CS6 Creative Suite and reinstalled (literally deleting every single Adobe file in the Library folder) still the same issue. - It seems to only be PNG files that I can't export to. If I try and make it a JPG it will export (I do commonly need to export with transparency so JPGs won't work for many things I need to export).
I haven't been able to EXPORT from Adobe's LIGHTROOM 4 in 2 days! I've rebooted the PC at least 4 times, backup the catalog (with over 90,000 photos that took a while lol), closed photoshop and lightroom and then reopened them countless times and it is still not allowing me to export. The files are not missing and it's just stalling when it starts to export and has to close itself down.
Videostudio X3 crashes everytime I try to export a video. It doesn't matter the file type inputed or how you are trying to export it. It even crashes when trying to export one of the default title screens included with the program. Have tried a clean install with no luck. I have also insured I am using the latest version.
I've been using Lightroom 4 for almost a year with no issues. 2 days ago, it suddenly stopped exporting when I was in the middle of editing a session. It will export and entire catalog, but not single photos. When I attempt to export a single file, it will simply stop, and I have to force a shut down. I've tried rebooting my PC, creating a new catalog and resetting the preferences folder. Is there anything I can do?!
I have a Civil 3D project with piping networks, grading etc. The servicing and grading plans are on layout tabs (5 of each 10 in total). When I would go export layout Civil 3D would go into not responding mode and crash. This caused quit a bit of stress as we had to get the drawings out to meet a deadline.
After investigating this issue, we identified that we had save our layer states in the layer manager. Delete the viewport on the layout tabs, draw a new viewport and then reinstate the layer states for each layout. This resolved, the crashing issue.
Civil 3D 2013 Windows 8 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz 32. GB 64-bit Oepration System, x64-based processor
I am using Illustrator CS6 on OS X 10.8.4. Anything that rasterizes the artwork causes Illustrator to hang. Export (PNG), Save for Web, Filters like Drop Shadow or Gaussian Blur (even when just checking the preview box).
I've read through some discussions that suggested: – Uninstalling the entire CS6 suite and re-intalling it – Going into Disk Utitlity and 'Repair Permissions' – Creating a new user account on my Macbook, deleted the old user account and re-installed the CS6 suite
But none of the above suggestions worked. As soon as I create a new user account Illustrator began to crash again upon export the next of couple days.
This is a problem that has eluded me for a while. Im running Lightroom 3 and photoshop cs5 (both have the latest updates) . Now I've created droplets that run various actions. In lightroom I export images and use export actions dialog box to have lightroom run the droplet.
However now I get a "photoshop cs5 has stopped responding" and a "droplets can not communicate with photoshop.
Im running windows 7 64bit
Things I've tried
restarting both programs rebooting the computer running lightroom and photoshop as an admin recreating the droplets and telling windows to run the droplets as an admin
Will Corel6 (or later) ever be able to export to a web page directly since the HTLM export doesn't work (drops links). The Corel Web program, or what ever its name is, was a joke. Its amazing that Corel work puts its name on a program that you could not open a CorelDraw file.
My current work around is to export to a JPG and then import that into dreamweaver and add the links there, then post. A pain but it works.
Anytime I try to export a file and add a watermark, Lightroom crashes. I can export without adding a watermark just fine. Lightroom also crashes when I try to edit a current watermark - as soon as I click the drop down menu to choose which watermark to edit, down goes Lightroom. I have both text watermarks and a small jpeg as a watermark (same thing happens with both) and I am running Lightroom 4.3.
I have images that I export as a catalog from my notebook and external drive to my desktop . Did this all the time before the release candidate 4.1 without a hint of problems. With 4.1, it crashes 90% of the time....average export/import of a catalog I am running is about 3000 images. What is particularly wierd is that it crashes on multiples of 500. Normally first crash is at 500, the next at 1000 or 1500 and so forth.
I edited an online video dictionary (about 7,500 five second clips) and have them all in sequences in Premiere pro CC waiting to be exported. I hae been battling for two weeks now day in and day out to try and export... I am limited to batch exporting this project and have never had problems with adobe softwares in five years ( a great track record). I have tried many ways of importing or exporting the sequences to Media Encoder CC, and have experienced crashes every single export attempt. As soon as I add more than 5-10 clips the program crashes when I start the que. I badly need to deliver this product, any patch that will keep ME from crashing when you add more than a couple clips?
I keep having the experience that when I run PowerTRACE it says the bitmap is too large and must be reduced to trace. If I click cancel, X5 crashes immediately. If I click reduce it works sometimes and crashes sometimes. I tried tracing some of the same bitmaps in X3 and they worked fine. Is there something I need to change to allow PowerTRACE in X5 to run more smoothly? Is there a way to up the memory allotted to the program?
I'm running XP SP3 with an Intel Core 2 E8400 processor and 4gb of ram (3 of which XP actually knows how to use.) Not the most spectacular setup but it worked fine with X3. I tried adjusting the quality vs. performance option in the PowerTRACE settings but I can tell any difference.
I´m trying to open a file that comes with a cd. Windows explorer tells me the file was produced with coreldraw 5. but when i try to open it coreldraw x6 crashes immediately (x64).
latest patch installed.
link to the file: [URL]
i´d be very lucky if you tell me with which version of coreldraw you were able to open this file and/or how to avoid crashing of coreldraw x6 on my computer.
we updated from corel 14 with smart designer to corel 15 with smart designer 4.5. Corel is crashing almost continually and is running slow. it is on a dell workstation running a xeon processor W 3503 @2.4 GHZ with 4 gig of RAM with windows 7 professional with service pack 1 32 bit system. We have defraged the system, ran a registry cleaner, rebooted etc..
When I open a file the program crashes. It doesn't matter what file, they all cause the program to crash. It seems that X6 just cannot create the work environment unless it starts from scratch.
The solution I have found is to start a new document first and THEN open the file I want. After that, everything is fine. I can open any files I want all day with no crashes. Kind of weird, but what the heck..at least it works. By the way, my files are typically small (less than 2MB) composed of a few jpegs, some text, and some simple vector shapes.
I am using the 64 bit version of X6 on a 64 bit pc running Windows professional with 8GB ram.
If I draw a shape (or select an already existing shape) and choose "Bitmap Fill" or "Full Color Pattern" CDX6 freezes and then after several seconds throws the "CorelDRAW X6 has stopped working" error at me with the only options to "Check online for a solution..." or "Close the program"
Prior to the 16.2 update CDX6 would freeze in the above circumstances but eventually come out of it and apply the fill (program wouldn't have to be closed).
All other fills work as expected. This is a Win7 32-bit system.

It crashes without warning, it just closed... that's all.It happens whenever I try to:- Save (either clicking on the save button or using CTRL+S)- Group (with CTRL+G or by clicking on the Group button after right click), I've tried to remove the "Pattern" and I can group finally, but still closed when I try to save.I try to remove any fillings but still closes when saving (but it didn't got saved at all)I've browsed through the forums and tried everything... nothing works. Even un-install and re-install didn't work.
It even closes when I try to save a blank page (with only an object like rectangle or something on it)
Corel draw x4 starts up fine, when you either pick a template, open an existing file, or click the new drawing button the mouse pointer becomes the circle and it says Processing at the bottom right corner of the screen, the status bar next to processing does not progress at all and it just stays like this until i close it. It says (not responding) in the top bar.
I have downloaded the updates from corel draw and have also un installed corel draw and re installed it and it is still the same.
I just installed CorelDRAW X6 on a new 64bit Win-7 machine. When I try to use keyboard shortcuts to cut and paste paragraph text in a document I created with X5 on my old 32bit Win-XP machine, CorelDRAW crashes. I need to be able to work with my old X5 (and occasionally, older) files. Is there a fix for this, or do I need to go scrap X6, and put X5 on my new machine?
I'm having some difficulty importing a pdf of a simple architectural drawing with 2 hatches. No problem with other pdfs made with my pdf995 or with the same original drawing to pdf minus the hatches. They are really simple small hatches and small files - 11x17 with minimal detail. The original architectural drawings are made in Turbocad then to pdf. I don't have an alternative way to check this out with another cad software.
Drawx5 crashes just after the dialog box for text options, then I click OK for font substitutions and it 'stops working'. All the same procedure works OK if I remove the hatches before making the pdf.
System is Win7Pro 64 bit, 8gb ram, 4 cores, 1gb video memory.
We have X5 installed on four computers at work and on two of the machines (including mine) X5 will crash everytime (100%) when trying to export to jpg. It does not even get as far as a dialog box its just crashes straight away. I it does this everytime on two comuters without fail.
Is there a way of viewing an error report? Or what would I have to do to file one?
I can export to other formats just fine, it only seems to be JPG....
I upgraded to x5 from corel 11 last year. Crashes frequently and corrupts file. I have to make copy after copy to keep from loosing all of my work. I am at the point I can not do my work. Sometimes files just become so slow and then just crash. I can take the same file that is slow, save as ver 11 and open in corel draw 11 and works great. I have never had so many problems with a program in my life. I am now downloading hotfix 4 and service pack 3 and will install, but I am not very optimistic.
There is not particular situation that the files cause the program to crash. It is nothing that complex. Seems to be often when I try to save or when I have multi pages.
Here is my system info.

On my PC running Windows Vista Ultimate with an Nvidia GEForce GT 545 video adapter, when I attempt to resize the Open File window in CorelDraw X5 to see more of the file information, the window starts rapidly flashing and opens a stack of same window. System response is slowed when trying to close or cancel the window, and it will display "Not Responding" for several seconds before it clears. CorelDraw X5 itself also has trouble closing. I repeated this 3 times and had the same thing happen, so it is not a random event. Not sure whether it is CorelDraw conflicting with the Nvidia driver or something else. The only workaround I found was to use Windows Explorer to view the additional file information, such as date modified or other metadata.
I've got Service Pack 3 which is the latest and greatest and am still finding that I cannot export to any bitmap format even in PhotoPaint. I can save as a .cpt file in PhotoPaint. Sometimes I send out .jpeg proofs and doesn't matter whether it is X5 Draw or PhotoPaint, it crashes.
I do not have this problem when I export the same thing from X4 Draw or PhotoPaint.
I am running XP on a virtualized Windows environment via Parallels desktop for Mac. I have plenty of RAM and hard drive space so it may be because I am not running Windows 7?
