Ever since installing SP3 if I double click a file out of the file system I get another instance of CD open with the correct page size but no graphics in it. I then have to close that CD session and drag the file into the already open instance of CD... no biggie but annoying as I double click out of the file explorer all the time.

I checked the box for pixel grid alignement when I created the documentthe symbol option is set for align to pixel gridthe original shape in the symbol is aligned to pixel grindthe original shape has the align to pixel grid check box in the transform panel checkedÂ
So why when I resize the symbol instance does it break the pixel grid alignmnet and result in a blurred 1px stroke?
Some of you might also have encountered the nasty issue of CorelDraw (CorelDrw.exe) to open a new instance of CorelDraw for every CDR file being double-clicked for opening. After twiddling around and searching the web, I finally found out that CorelDraw.exe is case-sensitive for DDE commands. As such, using the DDE argument 'Open("%1")' won't do anything.The solution for CorelDraw X4 (CorelDrw.exe) is:

Whenever I edit text in the pop-up dialog, there is usually an extra line inserted at the top of the text (a blank first line). I can't get rid of this extra line through the pop-up edit window, I can only delete it using the text tool directly on the page. This only started with the latest update.

You double-click on the .CDR file name, but instead of the file opening, you get this error message:
If I drag the file to CorelDRAW, it opens. Same applies to .JPG and other files associated with PHOTO-PAINT.
I love CorelDRAW, but I'm convinced this is a BUG that seems to be ignored. It's been around for years. Â It's basic to how Corel works and works with Windows--I don't understand why they don't fix it. This is quite an annoyance; the good thing is I can always open the file by dragging it.
CorelDRAW version is 15.2.0.695. WinXP is Professional Version 2002, SP3. Found no answer in the Corel Knowledgebase. Never had this problem with CorelDRAW v.2-12.
I posted this topic about Corel x4 and got some answers. Unfortunately it didnt work because my corel was corrupt. But now I installed my old Corel 12 and tried to follow the instructions the same way as they told me to do it in Corel x4, but the options are different.Â
So..... how do i make the settings so that when i double click on an image in corel 12, it will take me directly to Corel Photo for editing.Â
From my vecor drawing program i export a file as DXF/DWG.
Then this file is run true a program to determinaded the plotting lenght on a lasercutter.
But a simple drawing takes som 80 minutes to cut and engrave.
Loading the file into X5 Home & Student is discover that the file contains 29059 lines.
Selecting some lines i can see that there are underlying lines.
How can i remove them without using VBA. And my drawing program has no option to save it to a file type.
Export it as a Atocad version 2000 or 14 doenst change the number of lines
Have recently upgraded to corel 11, from 9, but at the same time upgraded my computer.
When I try to plot a simple circle shape on my Roland CM24 the image cuts twice and is extremely slow (juddering).
I believe the double cut is caused by the hairline & fill but messing around have only gone from double cutting each shape individually to do double cutting the whole image.

I seem to have lost the functionallity of double-clicking on an image placed in CDR X5 to automatically edit in Photopaint. The checkbox in tools/options/edit is checked and photopaint can certainly be opened in the Application Launcher but double-click does nothing.

I change my mouse without improvement.Do you know a macro to clean my polylines and to transform the "double" nodes in a single node (adjusting the gap distance) ? View 5 Replies View RelatedI am working with a device that can import plt files & it converts that to a tool path in G-Code. Â works like a champ. Â but some data, most text (single line font), is converted two times. Â This makes the tool do the work twice and its pretty inconvenient to manually delete the doubled up G-Code Lines.
I am pretty sure the duplication is done at the Corel export level and not in the translator of the machine. Â I have been working with the export settings with no success.
My corel x4 was coryupt and I had to install my older Corel 12.
Options on this corel are different. Â So in Corel 12, how do i change the settings so that when I double click on an image, it will open it in Corel photo for editing?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've never had this before, but when it happens it refreshes everything every time i interact with photoshop, which makes it very annoying. I made a new canvas, and the suddenly with every brush stroke or click of a button or whatever, the "new document" window pops up with most of its controls missing for a split second, and any drop down menus i recently used quickly appear.
Then the screen all refereshes and it goes away. This happens quickly. I managed to grab a screen shot when it did it though, showing a distorted menu appear quickly. I'm guessing its my video drivers, right?
I mean, its not a huge problem because a simple restart of photoshop sorted it out, and ive never had it happen before, but io thought it best to tell just as a notice if Adobe know anything about what could be causing it. I have the newest video drivers installed which has enabled photoshop to work on dual moniotors with open gl and also had a refresh prefomance increase in certian other areas.

I made a simple gradient from black to white, then went to Select>ColorRange and used the sample color I had - #848484. I set the fuzziness to 0 to restrict the selection to only that color and then pressed OK. It selected three pixels. I copy and paste these into a new document to make it easier to see them. Now here's the glitchiness: I eyedrop each of the three pixels to see what their hexadecimal values are. One is 848484, another is 848484, but the last one is 848585. Why is Photoshop selecting an 848585 colored pixel when I'm telling it to only select a 848484 colored pixels? I would assume that setting fuzziness all the way down to 0 would restrict the selection to EXACTLY the color you specify, but it doesn't appear to be doing that. Is there any way around this? This is important because I'm trying to select specific colors that are not used as much and replace them with colors used more often in the image.

 This source works, but if i instance a new form on a new drawing, the first drawing's layer list is kept and the new layer list on the second drawing is ignored!
I have created a block which contains various part numbers, with a description and some other bla bla, with a total number box, I issue this to clients to make the specification of product much easier. My idea was for people to use the quick select command to find how many instances there is of an object within the drawing.
As this is a slightly tedious process, as you have to physically type the part number then mentally take one instance off as it counts the number in the legend block as well.
Is there an addition/summary of object instances command I could use to make this process more dynamic and straightforward for the recipient/user of the block I issue?
