I'm getting this message on a file I've opened 50 times before but now I can't seem to get it open.
I've increased my virtual memory significantly and I've done disk cleanup.
Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit)
CorelDraw x5 ver 15.2.0.686
In CorelDraw X5, I consistently at times receive an error message stating "File Copy Error. TEMP Drive or Output Drive may be full". My temp drives have all been emptied. How to overcome this error message?

it says something in the style of: An error occurred when trying to copy a file. The source file is corrupted.
I am copying objects to a new database and and cloning as an Entity type succesfully for all objects.When I save the database to a new file I get the attached error
'Warning: An error occurred during save....'
I have isolated this to Polylines and have tried to Process as Type PolyLine but still get the error.Here is the code I use for the polyline.(My entity processing code is identical except for object type).

When I try to package a file with a lot of links, the Indesign CC packaging process fails with the error message "Unable to copy necessary file(s)". I am able to make a PDF of the same file, but when packaking the process fails every time. The app does not crash, just gives an error message. What gives?
(I'm using a MacBook Pro Retina Display with 16 GB RAM, running OS 10.9 and all CC 9.1 updated with the latest patches).
I have a macro that saves a file to a temp directory. Is it possible to use a macro to just "copy" that file to the clipboard and stop? I just want it available in the cliboard so I can navigate to where I want it then paste it. I then rename it. The directory will always be different as will the file name.

Trying to make a macro to Publish to PDF with certain parameters, mainly the security password, then save to as file "X". Then Call macro to copy file "X" so I can navigate to the proper directory,paste it and rename it.
If Corel had a feature that would allow you to set your password once and it would remember it so you didn't have to retype it every time.
I did managed to Record completely the macro but it will only save over the same file every time. It would work great if I could get it to just go back to the "publish To PDF" after inputting the settings then I can name it and put it in the directory I want.
When I try to open this eps file it gives me a message that says import error I/O error? Never had that one before.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to use iLogic Design Copy to copy an assembly and all its associated parts to another directory. The assembly contains content center parts. Inventor warns me that the destination file of one of the CC parts (and 18 others) will be overwritten. When I go ahead and copy anyway, the copying process stops at that specific CC part. The Design Copy Progress dialog box states there is an error copying that CC part. When I close the Design Copy Progress dialog box, Inventor crashes.
The error copying the CC part: I'm allowed to use content center parts in iLogic Design Copied stuff, right? I searched some related topics and I'm under the impression that Inventor keeps the CC parts in its own directory and shouldn't be trying to overwrite them.
Any "fix" for issues with Corel PDF import "the file is corrupted" error? We do custom apparel and recently added an on-line design tool that exports in PDF. Corel cannot read the files so we are forced to import into AI then expert as an AI file to import into Corel. I am at the point where I believe if there was a book written with all the quirks of X5 it would be a telephone book in size.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am not being able to open a .cdr file in Draw. Its about 1.16 gb, I know its big but I didnt realise it has become so big, it has 18 pages now. It was working fine till yesterday. but now when i am trying to open it a pop up comes showing error reading file. I am using x4 in a 32 bit windows 7 with 4 gb ram.I have tried opening in laptop with 64bit windows 7 4 gb ram, it opened till 80% adn then a different error came which said - invalid object. I need to retrieve the artwork, i have worked on it for more than 3 weeks. The back up file also shows the same.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have cdx5 (fully patched) running on a windows 7 pro x64 machine (c++, directx, updates all current) that has an issue when saving a file to a mapped network drive. The file will save error free but when you try to open the file again at a later date it gives a c++ runtime error (this application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unexpected way).
If i save the file locally then move it to the network share it seems fine. It can be opened and edited with out issue.
CDx5 needs to save to the mapped drive as the server runs onsite and offsite backups. There is a large volume of files that are changed/created daily. Saving locally and then copied to the server manually is also not an option as the user cannot be relied upon to ensure the files are copied to the server.

But now when i am opening this file it say "File contains Invalid Object" "IGNORE:ABORT:RETRY"..I chose every option but nothing seems to happen and corel draw gets hanged..I tried importing it..also i tried re installing it but nothing seem to work...
this file is very imp and i have to open it...Wht to do? Also any future precautions, if any?
And am i using the right version? Im mean is is because this is the lower version and i need 2 upgrade?
I came across an interesting problem. I was using PaintShop Pro to import a RAW image from my camera, then export as a TIF for use in CDGS X6. When I tried to import the file into CorelDRAW or PhotoPaint, I got an error message:
(X) Invalid compress data
I could see a thumbnail image in WIndows, and I could open the file in IrfanView. Re-saving the TIF from IrfanView allowed me to open it in CDGS.
I thought the problem was with PSP, and reported the issue to the product team, but then I tried exporting the same TIF from PhotoPaint (from the same RAW image file), and when I tried to re-open the TIF, I got the same error. So PhotoPaint could not read the TIF exported from... PhotoPaint!
Smaller files don't seem to be an issue, but my camera files are in the neighborhood of 5000x3000 pixels, and the TIF files weigh in at around 50MB.
When I try to export an image I get the error "An error occurred when writing the property "Revision number" to the file". The file still exports but I would like to get rid of this error.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've a problem to open an old X4-Coreldraw file. The first time I can open it - when I want to save this file CDraw says that the file will be changed to the X6 Version. I say OK and save the file. The 2nd time I'll try to open the X6 file again then the Error occurs! I changed my settings in CDraw to a local dir c: emp, also to a new drive - but nothing happens! All the drives have mor than 400 GB free space! I hope this will be enough.

Err- Internal Filter Error.
The 1st time round, i didn't get this error. I edited the PDF with some graphics,etc..
I then made some changes to the report using Report Writer & now it's NOT opening.
I'm sick en tired of copy pasting text and get another output of my font size. For example: I copy a text with a font sz of 16 px, that size become 15.98px.
What's the problem with Photoshop CS6? I only have this problem since i've updated my software.
What im doing is trying to create animations. There is a main psd file that I work on, and then I move the objects slightly and save it as a jpg.
But what happens is after 3-5 saves it starts saying "Could not save a copy as 'C:...
ame.jpg' because the file is already in use or was left open" even though it's not. And then the jpg I was trying to save shows up with the correct name, but its not useable and displays 0 bytes.
I dont get it because it usually works the first few times, and then I get that message. Whats going on? How do I not get this problem?

While working on a complex project with PSCS4 that involved copying and pasting from numerous open documents, I have been receiving an error message shown in the link. PS then shuts down with loss of my data.
I'm running Windows XP Pro with a dual Xeon processor workstation with 2GB of error correcting memory. PS3 and other applications have been working properly.
Any suggestions other than going back to PS3?
I am getting a Could not open due to unexpected end of file error messages on a bunch of jpg's I am receiving via email. The files open in Microsoft Office Picture Manager.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to create a digital layout in PSCS version 8.0, and when I go to save the psd file (very early stages of the creation...its not very large yet) I get an error that says "Unable to save (file name) because of a disc error". I've never seen this before and am trying not to panic, but I'm on a deadline! LOL And am running behind as usual!
I am using an older mac, and I'm pretty dang maxed out on Gb...gotta clean up some files, but having a hard time finding a free dup file finder for macs...so I'm procrastinating, basically. Could the fact that I've got very little Gb available left have something to do with this?

I am using Visual Studio 2010 and AutoCAD 2012 64bit on a Windows 7 64 bit machine 8GB of ram. I am trying to copy a user selection and then paste the selection in another drawing or the same drawing based upon buttons on my form. The user will specify a base point and then select all of the objects to copy. I store the objects in a selection set so that the user could paste the selection multiple times into various drawings. The copy works correctly and I get a selection set from which I obtain the object Ids along with a point to transform my objects. My problem occurs during my paste routine. The Deep Clone Objects or WblockCloneObjects seems to be working correctly and then I get into my code to transform the entities. I'm also storing some information about the blocks so that I can manipulate our proprietary database later via another function call. It seems like everything works correctly, but when I select a large number of objects I receive a fatal error. FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading oxffbc4008 Exception at ed010939h. It seems that the number of objects that people can copy varies on each user's computer.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been re-saving many of my PSD files using CS3 image prosesssor with compatibility mode turned off. They have simply been saved again as PSD files into a different folder - no changes to the original PSD files. This has worked well and reduced file sizes by up to 50% (I had compatibility mode turned on previously).
of the 60 files I have processed, 3 will no longer open , I get a message that says "file will not open due to a program error."
these files have only ever been used in CS3. , they are quite large
from just under 1GB to 1.5GB, however other similar large files have processed successfully. I have re-tried without success.
I still have the original files so no data loss is involved.
Is there any way GIMP can batch or copy metadata from one file to other file(s)? Specifically, a list of keywords from one image to other images that would use the same keywords.
