View 7 RepliesI am trying to repair some file type extensions. I need to know where the icons are stored for Photoshop. Especially the icon for .abr (adobe brushes)
View 11 Replies View RelatedI use Coral Draw X5 on win 7 64-bit.
I have trouble working with transparencies inside a symbol. It also does not work if it is power-clipped inside a symbol. The error message is as follows:
This item cannot be stored inside a Symbol. The item must be removed in order to be able to finish editing this symbol.
this same procedure works in Corel X4.
I thought it would be in the same folder as custom media, but the GMS folder there is empty. I'd like to back them up. Where they are stored (in XP)?
View 8 Replies View Relatedin older versions there was a option to use the very useful symbol.ttf's quickly and accurate with a little roll up menu that showed all characters and one could select and drag drop it into the document. I tried in vain to enable that in X5 with the so called symbol manager. I told Draw where the symbol.ttf's are but in the symbol manager I just see the path to it and nothing to use. I'm talking about the stars, arrows, weather etc. files.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI see two icons (essentially a dot and a rectangle) inside my color fill indicator at the bottom of my screen. I can get the dot to appear in objects I create by "combining" but cannot get the rectangle to replicate in any created object. These are in an imported file. What do they mean?

I think can do it with a bitmap, but I want to retain the button as a vector. I've tried messing around with shadows and embossing, but cannot get the look right. (i'm using X4)
Is there a way to increase the size of the fonts and the icons? I have V X4 if it make a difference. My screen resolution 1920 x 1080. Font size is 154%

View 2 Replies View RelatedI installed X6 tonight and I'm now having trouble with my Extra Large Icons in Windows Explorer. When I switch to extra large icons the first few show up correctly (CDR, JPG, GIF, etc.) but most of the rest of the GIFs and JPGs show as Corel icons. I can refresh, reload, and they still stay Corel icons. The only way to get the preview thumbnails again is to switch back to large or medium icons and then refresh. But if I switch back to extra large icons I get the same thing again. What's particularly odd is that all the Corel file formats preview correctly as extra large icons, but only a few of the GIFs and JPGs do. I have already removed and reinstalled X6 and the Corel Windows Shell Extension.
If you run the Icon size slider up, the preview thumbnails for the GIFs and JPGs change to Corel Photopaint icons as soon as you go above large icon size.
I have Win7 Pro running on an Intel i7-3820 and have updated Corel to the X6.2.
Also, I do not have any icon viewer applications installed.
I browsed around a bit and didn't see this particular problem listed.
Is there a way to change the size of the tool icons in CDR X6? They are too small for my eyes. I have looked everywhere.
View 8 Replies View RelatedWhat the little sun icon indicates on some of the installed fonts on Bitstream Font Navigator? I think they might be system fonts but I'm not sure.
I have too many fonts installed right now so I want to reduce that number but I don't want to cause a problem if those are required to stay in place.
I've installed my new windows CS6, all my .psd files have the 'generic icons' windows give to files they don't recognize. Everything else has normal icons (i.e. Illustrator files) but the Photoshop files are blank. This is true whether I'm on any type of viewer format, i.e. details, thumbnails.

View 1 Replies View RelatedEach time I open a second or third file in CorelDraw x5, the windows seem to lose the top MIN, Max Close icons. You know the ones that sit at the top right of each window. Because of this I'm unable to close or edit the work. In fact NOTHING works. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit with a TON of memory.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI created a couple of icons with Greenfish Icon Editor, which works reliably for me, to assign to macros. They were saved as 16 x 16 32-bit icons. But when I try to assign them, they appear larger and I can't fit them into the space allotted for an icon; in other words, they get clipped.
View 8 Replies View RelatedYesterday when I was working with Corel Photo Paint X6 and Corel Draw X5 all of a sudden all my desktop program icons changed to show Corel Draw X6 -- also an .ink extension appeared behind all the program names. (this also happened in my "all programs" list.) Everything I click on takes me to Corel Draw X6. get things back to normal?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI need help understanding the interaction between Camera Raw, Photoshop smart objects, and XMP sidecar files.
If I open a RAW file in Camera Raw, change some Raw settings, and click Open Object to open the file as a smart object in Photoshop CS4, an XMP file gets created. If sometime later I double-click the smart object layer in Photoshop and change the Raw settings again, the XMP file does not get updated. So where exactly did the Raw settings get stored? Did they get embedded in the Photoshop file along with the RAW image? If so, why did an XMP file get created? Can I safely delete the XMP file?
I would like to transfer batch commands that I created in CS2 to CS5. these are the commands created under import-batch. where are those files stored and will cs2 files work under cs5 (or are they version specific)
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've been working on some very large files where the primary image is converted to a smart object. For security I've backed up the PS files to another drive. Is the smart object part self contained? or stored as a separate lined file? Like if I had a PS file in illustrator. Backing up the Ill file would leave the image file behind?
I just don't want to get surprised with an X in my layers down the road.
Where is the copyright text that appears in the metedata in Bridge and Photoshop (File > Get Info) stored? My photos are all stuck with "© 2011 My Name, all rights reserved." How can I change it so that the metadate shows "© 2012 My Name, all rights reserved."? I know I can edit the metadata, but I have thousands of photos with the wrong date, and I cannot find where the text is stored.
Where can I change this so that all photos taken this year have the correct copyright date? Did I enter this text somewhere? In some Preferences panel? If so, I can't find it. I have set this to 2012 on the camera, so it's not coming from there. Searching Adobe Photoshop produces nothing useful. Searching the system for the character string produces nothing. Where does this come from?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have tried to render the same project to different variants of the AVCHD (i.e. different bit rates ). However once the project is rendered for the fist time the Video Studio some how “remember” what it was rendered to and applies the same settings next time. As a result I am getting exactly same files size, bit rates etc regardless if I choose Mpeg optimizer or custom settings with AVCHD and 18 Mpbs, 20Mbps etc. The only way I can get true different results is when I start a brand new project, assemble it and render it for a first time.
I have tried deleting all cash and proxy files but to no avail. Do you know where this rendering information is hidden and how can I reset it or get rig of it?
I have been using Jasc Paint Shop Photo Album 4 for several years and I find it very useful. Over the years I have tagged a large number of my photos with keywords, but as of today they all seem to have disappeared. The table of keywords contains only the default set.
I have all my data backed up regularly so they will be somewhere, but I don’t know why this has happened or where to start looking for them.
I am quite happy to receive a technical response to this as I am familiar with the day-to-day workings of Windows having spent most of my working life writing commercial and system software for PCs.
I would like to copy this settings so our all engineering team will have direct access to a specific block library.
Is it in the acadlt.cuix ? or the profile.aws ? or somewhere else ?
I need to reformat and had some shaped I made that I dont want to lose.
does anyone know where they are stored?
I looked in Program FilesAdobeAdobe Photoshop CSPresetsCustom Shapes but did not see anything for "user made" or anything like that. Would they be in the "all.csh" or somewhere else?
I have some weird virus action going on and need to reformat. I cant get into photoshop to export shapes. So I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find to save my custom shapes.
I have found .csh files in 2 locations:

My computer crashed and I had to recover my HD professionally a few months ago. I bought a new HD, reinstalled all my apps and copied my files over to the new drive.
I cannot seem to find the file that had all of my actions from the old harddrive. What file would I be looking for? I search for all .atn files on the recoved hd and copied them over but my old actions are no where to be found.
where these files are stored?
I want to know how the text which is created in an IDW is stored. Moreover I want to know if this can be extracted, accessed or modified externally? Maybe there is some way with the API?
Any way to translate the language of a drawing without having to be a CAD user.
My perfect scenario would be that the IDW's in a Vault environment could be copied and the text translated as part of the process.
I have a problem with plotting dwg files using vb net.
When in this files is stored a printer no more existing in my network I've an exception in my vb net program.
How can I clean any information about printers stored in files?
To plot these files I use "acadDoc.SendCommand("-stampa" + vbCr + "S" + vbCr + "model" _ ....."
