I've deleted my test macro from my .CDR file via Tools -> Visual Basic... But after closing Corel and opening that file again, it says that it "contains macros"
View 2 Repliesmacros are all disabled and i remembered there is a command to disable all the events but i could not figure out where exactly it is located and even i tried to reinstall the using modiy and repair twice times to install the software but still persists to activate the macros.
all the macros are grayed out and even Alt F11 also not working.
Have new pc want to move macros... Have exported workspace but Macros did not come...

Correction - all my macros have disappeared. The macro manager is showing up empty. It's as if X6 can't see any macros at all. Delay Load is unchecked.
Just noticed the file name window is named "trial expired" - yet I can open a file.

I am trying to switch from X3 to X5, I moved my macros to the X5 GMS folder but the macros don't show up under "Macros" in the customization dialog. I can do Menu>Tools>Macros>Run Macro... and run a macro like that but I would like t be able to assign shortcut keys to the macros and create tool bars, but so far no luck with that.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI installed the X5 suite and updates, set up my macros, and everything was working fine. When I restarted Coreldraw, all my macros were disabled? I uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled, and the same thing happened again. Everything works fine in X4.
My OS is Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1.
I thought it would be in the same folder as custom media, but the GMS folder there is empty. I'd like to back them up. Where they are stored (in XP)?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI work for graphics company who uses Corel heavily for all of our graphics work. We have custom built macros that were made to save our art into our database to then be accessed through Microsoft Access.
We've had these Macros running for many years and have never had any issues. Due to a mail server crash we moved to Office 365; a cloud based mail server. We then started updating our machines to Office 2010 to be able to use our new cloud based email locally.
The issue is once we upgraded to MS Office 2010 our macro stopped working and we cannot see where the issue is being caused. The weird thing is it's on both XP and Win7 machines.
We've uninstalled and re-installed Corel with no luck. I've changed permissions in Win7 and it has done nothing.
I'm wanting to cut a shape out of a rectangle from a macro. I need to do this on hundreds of files. I tried to do the following while recording a macro:
Select all shapes
Run Arrange->Shaping->Back Minus Front
However, this just results in this comment being recorded: "Recording of this command is not supported: ShapingCommand"
How to call the shaping commands from VBA? I've dug through offline and online documentation and have come up with nothing.
Still on the basics, here's a demo video that includes adding a macro form and sizing of some selected shapes. I had fun doing this one but it's hard trying to squeeze everything into a short video (to keep video file size low).

I know the reason for this is because of the x5 version, which i don't have in my system.But i have also downloaded some other macros that are x4 or x5 versions and they are working excellent on my CorelDraw x6.

I'd like to delete a layer but the layer cannot be deleted from the object manager as the delete menu item is disabled for that layer.

Trim the master object and the cloned object gets deleted.The master object cannot be directly trimmed, so I grouped it with another object, which seems to enable the shaping tools. check if this behavior exists in X5 also.
I have inserted a clip about the problem. Maybe other users and the Corel staff will check it out.
CDR6 with update on Windows 7: Cannot collate any document. A co-worker using the same CDR6 can collate. Is this an uninstall and reinstall solution?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just noticed that X6 crashes (freezes completely) when importing a "corrupt" pdf document. When I import the exact same file in X5, I receive the prompt "The file is corrupted." OK and I am back to where I started. X6 just hangs..... and never returns, you have to kill X6 and reload losing some of if not all the work you did prior to a save. Not good.

i have a problem with corel draw x4.
So: i create a document and publish it as a pdf. That works.
But when i open the pdf with acrobat the document is empty. Just a white paper.
Is there a way to include the document properties window as a docker. I open many files a day that contain cnc machine information (in the file's document properties) that I need to access before sending the file to the cnc machines. It would be useful if this information were always displayed and editable in a docker. I didn't see it in the dockers menu. I'm using X6.
View 14 Replies View Relatedusing CorelDRAW X6. I am having trouble when opening SVG documents in CorelDRAW X6. They seem to always be 33.333% smaller than the size I saved them in Adobe Illustrator.
I am more familiar with AI and use it for most of my design work. I use CorelDRAW mainly to save files as HPGL plotter files to cut designs with a CMC machine (there is no way to my knowledge to save HPGL files with AI).
When I open an AI file in CorelDRAW it is always to scale. However when I save it as an SVG file and open it with CorelDRAW it is always exactly 33.333% smaller than the size I saved it as in AI. While I can open AI files in CorelDRAW for my purposes it is easier if I save as SVG. I just want it to be the same scale when I open it in CorelDRAW but it is always smaller (by exactly 33.333%)
Not that it is that big of an issue, I can always scale it to the proper size. I would just like to understand why it works this way and if there is a way to correct it.
During the Auto-backup, the document failed to save in the background.
I can't do anything about it.If I try to close the document, it'll prompt me to save it, leading to the same failure.
So I can only quit CorelDraw without saving the document. And if I reopen the same file, same thing happens.So I end up recreating everything.
It only happen to the particular file and not others.
corel is only exporting the original palette size of 8.5 x 11. my files are 28' x 40" usually. only the part of the design that is covering the palette outline gets exported.
i can change the original palette size, still exports only 8.5 x 11 part of the design, doesn't shrink the design, just exports only that portion of it.
In October 2012 I purchased a new Dell computer with Windows 7. Now when I open CorelDraw 3x the program will only open (and/or show) one document at a time.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to group 10 objects together but every time i try to group them I get a message saying "Operation could not be completed. Active layer document grid is locked or invisible."
But even when i turn on the document layer visibility it still won't let me group them, and I can't turn the print or edit buttons on.
I have several documents made in older CorelDraw versions. Problem- When I tried to add new pages to the existing document, the Document Grid appeared only in the new page. And these cannot be removed. Worse, it is printed everytime. There is no way for me to remove it.
PS: These problem did not appear in new documents created in CorelDraw x6. It occurs in CorelDraw x6 when using older version files.
