I can only do a pen right click (using the pen button) with the smoke FCP7 keyboard settings.Shouldn't be like that, I guess, and I think this wasn´t with pre3
Only alternative is to press ctrl and click, but well, what are my pen buttons good for and i´m lazy, especially when i have to access option menus.
I have installed Autodesk Smoke 2013, i selected FCP7 keyboard setting, But the keyboard setting is changed automatically.

Also is asymmetric/bidirectional trimming possible?
At random points while editing my keyboard will become inactive within Smoke. I've mapped out a custom keyboard and it works well to a certain point. It's as if I've accidentally changed a setting that "turned off" all my key maps. I can't zoom, insert or even playback from the source monitor or timeline.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI do a heavy job about an into working on a comp my keyboard will stop working, every once in a while if I cmd + tab out of smoke and back into smoke it will do the same thing, but my mouse always works. The only way to really get the keyboard back to working is by rebooting the app. This is really embarrassing when you are doing supervised sessions and you have to reboot.

I'm doing far too many inadvertent moves/deletes/copies, simply by clicking pen for menu to appear, only for it to commit to whatever the pen position was at. This happening in the library area is no fun at all....not sure what the answer is really! but it's not ideal....
View 9 Replies View RelatedI know most of us have 2 computers in our suites and would be nice to controll both computer without having to use 2 mice and 2 keyboards. Right now I am using 2 computers, a mac pro and a macbook pro. I would like to use my MacPro's keyboard and mouse to control the macbook pro much like a mouse and keyboard on a second display. I've been using an application called teleport, but it doesn't allow me to use keyboard commands.
I've heard/used synergy, but it's to much work for the final product.
know if there is a keyboard with FCP shortcuts available to buy for Mac, or a set of stickers?

View 4 Replies View Relatedit is a long click (click and press) or is a double click, or is a double long click..I suggest having a RENAME option on right click as well as using normal double click for renaming (one click select clip in viewport, double edit the name). If the library is wide open (details), double click can have the present behavior (open timeline and select the clip)

I think there should be a 'edit cfx' menu when we right -click the clip in timeline. This is very handy to get fast access to the cfx. Yes i can click the small cfx icon/button and RMB - edit cfx , or i can double click the cfx button itself, but this only work when the cfx button is visible. Also there should be a hotkey for this.

Currently it is displayed at the bottom put of the UI only and it is not possible to do anything on such a small view of the editor....

I want to turn on 'constant shape' parameter in gmask and i want to do it for multiple spline. How can i do that ? How to select multiple spline in viewer ? Also, i tried to pick multiple spline using animation editor but when turn 'on' the 'constant shape' , it only apply to single spline.

Any way to make the "click" function into a keyboard shortcut in gimp. I use a mouse, but the clicking interferes with my strokes (I like to hover my mouse gently. This way is faster and more presice for me.) I ould like to know if I can use a key like backslash or "v" to replace the clicking action when using brushes.

I'd like to skip the procedure of having to repeatedly pick red from the palette and simply have red chosen automatically using one click only. I tried recording an action, hoping I would later be able to assign it a shortcut but oddly when an action that records the setting of stroke color is played, it sets the FILL color to that choice color and instead of setting the stroke color (with which it was recorded).

1. If I have a layered Photoshop file or png with an alpha channel (a still frame lower third), I see that I can import it as a multi layered clip, but what is the best way to have it in the sequence to show up properly?
2. If I have a QuickTime in animation format or Pro Res4444 format with an embedded alpha, how can I import that file to show and cut it on a top layer to animate above my video?
