AutoCad :: Several Viewports On Sheet But When Print Preview Only One Is Visible
Mar 1, 2012I have several viewports on my drg sheet, but when I print preview only one is visible, why is this?

Paint Shop Pro :: In Print Preview Only Tiny Parts Of Picture Is Visible
Jun 25, 2011when i resize an image for example to 27 x 18 cm there is no problem however, when i try and print the image and the preview window comes up there seems to only be a tiny part of the picture visible? its basicly a tiny square in the top left corner of the preview page and its just big enough to see its a minute part of the image i want to print. If i try and print the image anyway i just get "could not start print job".I never had any issues before then suddenly a few weeks ago the problem happened in version x2 on any pictures i tried to resize and print , so i updated to x3 in the hope it would correct the error but its still there. Any setting somewhere , i tried using a trial version of a rival program and that worked fine and showed the print preview exactly how it should.

I have rebooted.. turned on and thawed all layers.. can see the viewports on sheets 1 thru 9 and edit them but not on sheet 10
AutoCAD 2010 :: Linking Existing Viewports To Sheet Set?
Oct 11, 2012I have an existing drawing with numerous viewports. I would like to know if there is a way to link those existing viewports to the set as "sheet views" without having to delete them and re-create them using the normal sheet set process.
I've noticed that each viewport has a variable in its properties display called "link to sheet view" with a yes or no entry, but it doesn't seem changable.
Is this possible, or must I re-create them from scratch?

Jul 9, 2013For some reason, my plot style is applied to my viewports. So for example, when I choose a monochrome plot style for the layout, the view ports in that layout display in black and white. I want to disable this. Is there a system command to turn this off?

Jan 8, 2014I received an Autocad file from another person, opened it with Autocad 2011 LT, and it looks fine. But when I go to print preview all the lines are very thick, making the detail of the drawing difficult to see. I've tried manually changing the lineweights but it has no effect on some of the layers. Is there an easier way to fix this other than recreating layers?

I can see the base drawing thru the viewport while in layout, but once I try and preview my plot the drawing inside the viewport is not visible. that is, I can see the preview of my sheet border & title block, but nothing within the viewport shows on the preview screen.

Mar 24, 2011I work at an architecture firm, in which we have many drawings, all with multiple sheets. (A1, A2, A3...etc.)
I'm wondering, is there a way to lock which layers are visible based on the sheet you select? I want to prevent someone from accidentally turning on HVAC information on a plumbing plan, if they do not check which sheet they are currently working in.
Is there a way to do this in a more permanent way, other than simply using the Freeze or thaw in current viewport button in the layer pulldown menu?
AutoCAD Print / Plot :: Viewports Of Pdf Underlays Not Plotting?
Aug 27, 2013I have a bunch of pdf underlays in model space with four viewports referencing them in one paperspace layout. The viewports are on their own non-plot layer and the pdf underlays are on a plottable layer. This isn't an issue on the original dwg that I copied them from.
-Everything appears fine in paperspace (see FIG. 1)
-When I go to plot, only the viewport on the right shows up. (see FIG. 2)
-If I move the viewports on the left to the right side, they plot.(see FIG 3)
-When I move the original right viewport to the left side it no longer plots. (NOT SHOWN)
-If I toggle each viewport in the original layout and draw a random line in model space all four of them plot(see FIG. 4)
-I've checked the vp and pdf underlay layers and properties-all are good
-I've tried creating new vp's and still have same issues
-tried creating a new dwg, copied in the pdf underlays and still have same issue
After Effects :: Ram Preview Not Visible?
Aug 9, 2013My Question,rather my problem is that when I do a ram preview of my Ae Projects...something really strange happens. When Ram Preview is started,in the Composition Panel a new window thing appears in which the RAM preview is ongoing, nd of
which is out of view of the composition panel.When I zoom out the composition panel behaves strange and the RAM preview and everything else disappears from view,although the RAM preview is still playing in the background.

AutoCAD Print / Plot :: Export To PDF - Viewports Not Plotting As Displayed
Feb 5, 2013I am plotting a layout with several viewports as a PDF, and the viewports are not plotting as displayed. Everything else on the layout plots perfectly.
I've attached two pictures:
1) asdisplayed.jpg is what I want
2) pdfoutput.jpg is what is outputed. As you can see the lines are (1) greyed + (2) do not have the lineweight I desire.

Here are my settings:
1) Plot style table: acad.ctb. I modified the Color 250 to be completely black so that text would be black. I've set the color for every object in modelspace to color 250 as well (no dither).
2) Plotter: DWG to PDF.pc3
3) Paper size: ANSI expand B
4) Plot scale: 1:1
5) Plot object lineweights: checked!
6) Plot with plot styles: checked!
7) Plot paperspace last: checked!
8 ) "Shade plot" setting for viewports: all set to "as displayed"
9) All viewports set to "Hidden" visual style
NOTE: I've noticed changing to visual style to 2D wireframe or using isolines tends to output exactly as displayed (keeps the lineweight + the black color / not greyed out. I need to use the hidden visual style for my purposes.
Also I always get the option to update shading plots for viewports and I've clicked both options - both get same results of the modified viewports.
AutoCAD Print / Plot :: 2 Of 3 Viewports In Paper Space Do Not Show Up?
Mar 11, 20082 of 3 viewports in paper space do not show up in print preview, nor will they print. The viewports are all on the same layer, defpoint layer. Even if I create 3 new viewports and erase the old ones, still can only print preview one viewport and only one viewport will print.

Jan 16, 2009So I am working on this document and it has silver background. I go to print preview (Photoshop cs3 and cs4 on Vista) and I get color looking more like bronze looking but when I do print, it comes out just like it should (in working mode which is Monitor RGB with Proof colors checked).
This setting is the only one I've used to make sure image/psd looks exactly like what it should when printing. I tried the default Working CMYK with and without Proof colors but it's still showing me the bronze look instead of silver. I've looked on the net and no exact easy fix for this was found. I really really appreciate any help.
Another simple question is regarding size. I'm working on a document size of 17.5 x 8.7 inches and the actual Banners will be printed at size 175 x 87 inches (5 banners each at 35inch wide but combined into a big one). So essentially, I'm working at 10% the size of what the final print will be and my file size is 760mgs. You can only imagine how big the file would be if I work on the actual size.

However preview window shows an icon with "exec" in it. Also, adjustments made in Camera Raw do not show in the thumbnails as with other my Canon 5D II raw files.

May 24, 2013I'm using AC 2011LT on a PC Every time I print to PDF or printer a line appears which is not visible on the model or paper space. It is even not visible when I preview the print before printing (again from model or paper). And on different layouts the line moves and sometimes doubles.
I have done all the regular things - all layers on, all unfrozen, all visible, etc, I've purged, regened, made a save as file, gone to another persons computer but still the same problem.

Jul 24, 2013I have the 2013 civil 3D version. I am doing a site plan for school, and would like to print it out so that everything shows up clearly.
I would like to print it on a 24x36 sheet, so I have set up my page to that size. When I maximize my viewport to the page borders so that the viewport is at its largest and scale the viewport so that the entire site plan fits in the viewport, everything shows up so small in the print preview screen. The annotations show up as black bars and I can only read them if I zoom in. I have limited access to printing so I want to make sure I get it right! Will I be able to read the annotations and hatching once it has printed? Even though I can't read them in the print preview or layout without zooming in?
I am using annotation scaling, so maybe my text height is wrong? Maybe I need a larger sheet than 24x36? My viewport and annotation scales are set to 1"=20' and box drawn around my site would be about 100' x 300'.
AutoCad :: XREF Not Showing Up In Print Preview?
Oct 12, 2006I'm using autocad map 2000. In model view I have inserted a map as an external reference. Then I have created a plot in paper view. Here the xref background is still visible. However, when i choose plot-->full preview I can't see the xref, only the other lines I've created. I'm using a HP designJet 500 in ISO A1 and have the following plot option selected:plot lineweights, plot with plot styles, plot paperspace last.

Jun 28, 2004I'm making some CD labels and I have a layer that had the outline of the CD label on it. I keep it up to make sure I'm positioning my items in the right area. I always leave a little bit past the lines in case the prininting is off a little bit.

AutoCAD Map 3D :: Print Preview And Plot Doesn't Work
Sep 27, 2011I'm using AutoCAD Map 3D 2009.
I've created a simple drawing in CAD that contains a cropped JPEG, a two toned hatched polygon in behind it two MTexts overlaying all.
I cannot view them in either normal plotting, pdf format, jpeg format and even dwf.
I've increased the ram used in the "Raster Extension Options" (2000 MB), I've set the plotting in the "Process Document" to "...In computer", I've saved it in older formats (2000/2004/2007), I've placed the drawing on both our public drives as well as the local, I've adjusted the "Raster and Shaded/Rendered Viewports" & "OLE" settings in the "Device and Document Settings" (None to Best). Not to mention the other variations in the plot menu.
I've tried everything I can think of and have read through several threads here and nothing works.
What drives me nuts about this, is that I'm able to print from a layout with no problems a 3D drawing, with 2D hatching, an extensive title block with hatching and a secondary overall viewport (minimal detail) in the main viewport area.
