AutoCad 3D :: Electrical Conduits Layout In Building?
Jun 9, 2012I want to lay electrical conduits in my model but have problem when the conduit changes plane. how can i quickly lay conduits may be by using bends etc as blocks.. if possible... and then just extend conduits using extend command or just giving the distance....

I have heard that Autocad MEP is great for laying electrical conduits etc. I tried using it but could not get desired results because of probably wrong settings. the biggest problem is the bend radius. also i would like to know how to use custom switch boxes and junction boxes as per my country standards.

AutoCAD 2013 :: New Install Of Building Design Suite Standard 2014 - Tool Palettes Don't Work
Jun 24, 2013We have just recently install Building Design Suite Standard 2014 and the tool palettes DO NOT work.
Clicking on the standard palettes that load with ACAD will not even work. We have also tried to make new ones and the will not MAKE (for lack of words).
Here is the Autocad warning it gives us:
Unable to execute the tool. Possible causes are:
-The tool is not registered properly. Please check your installation.
-the tool is from another application and is incompatible with the current application.
We are running a new copy and it IS registered.

Feb 16, 2013I'm trying to export Revit into Navisworks Simulate but there's no Navisworks tool in External tools. I did a full install of the Design Suite and checked Control Panel/ Programs/ Programs and Features for " autodesk navisworks simulate 2013 exporter plugins" but they're not installed. Are the plugins included in the Suite or do I download them from Autodesk?

Nov 7, 2012I have a terminal from Phoenix Contact(their p/n 3031429) it's a 2 level terminal - sttb4. When I associate two terminals (one on the top points, and one for the bottom points), it ends up putting the wrong terminal number on the top line. It does not matter what order i click as "master terminal" or not. And When I am dealing with a PLC, I use multiple 2-highs and it is a pain to constantly go in and manually force it to switch. I will always have one terminal with the wire number(based on rung number) and one based off from a PLC address. Is there a way when associating these terminals it will alway look at the PLC address as the top point?
