how to remove the guide lines or lines? Those are annoying when you are in Realistic View. As far as i remember there are commands to remove those lines. It is Display Silhowettes "dispsilh", but when i'm using this command it's still there. I currently using CAD Ver. 2007.
View 4 RepliesIs there a way to remove the extra sash lines which, in plan, are meant to represent the sash below the cut plane? I want to keep the sash "nub" at adjacent to the frame, but remove the lines which run parallel to the glass.

I'm trying to plot a 3D object but can't remove the hidden lines. On typing "hide" they are removed and appear removed in the plot preview but they still appear in the hard copy.

As far as I know there is no way to add or remove vertices on contour label lines. Is this correct?

I have a plug-in developed with the ObjectARX SDK, C#, VS2010 and the Autodesk supplied template. The plug-in is loaded into AutoCAD at start-up via a registry entry.
The plug-in is to be distributed privately and will not be submitted to the 'Marketplace' supplied by Autodesk for AutoCAD products.
I've noticed that there is a section on the AutoDesk website with regards to registering a custom prefix via the RDS scheme [URL]......
Currently we have code within the following areas:
Class Namespaces e.g. "MyNamespace.Utility"FunctionsCustom Commands e.g. "DEBUGDATA"
Based on the current implementation and intended usage/distribution method is symbol registration required? I ask as I am not sure what would happen if another plug-in used by the user has a "DEBUGDATA" command.
If symbol registration is required could you provide a clear example of how developer symbols should be implemented within the code?
I have done this already but for the life of me I just cant remember how I did it (it was just so easy!!!) and i cant find it in answers either.

I want to remove the circle where the bulldog overlaps it but I just can't get it figured out.
My boss came to me with a max question and its been a while since ive used max. he has a single diagonal line on the face of every solid in his model. I tried every fix i know and nothing worked.
then we found a site and the fix worked after reboot, for all of 5 minutes and the it went back. He is using XP based pc with MAX7.
I think thats what there called but it's starting to get very annoying having these things come up when i try and combine double spreads.
All just post the photo if you don't know what I'm talking about.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI can't seem to remove col-erase lines from my sketches in Photoshop.I have Photoshop CS5 and my OS is Windows 7
1) Scan drawing and open in Photoshop
2) Go to channels and remove the other colours than the colour of the pencil (ex. remove green and blue if the colour is red)
3) Change the mode to Grayscale (and back to RGB/CMYK if you want to colour it)
My problem is.. that it only goes halfway. It looks fine until step three. When I change it to Grayscale, the col-erase lines come back, just in B/W and I need to erase them anyway.

I have a customer that send me his logo to cut some small stickers to give out at his shop. However, the logo design guy that designed the logo used shading to give the logo depth. So when i bring up the file in corel draw, there is several small lines and boxes in the logo where the different shades where located in the logo and my plotter cuts those line in the vinyl. Is there anyway to remove those lines with out having to recreate the logo?

Using Gimp, I'm working up the learning curve, and don't know how to remove the white lines and dirt at the upper corners, and extend the pavement to cover it. I'm hopeful that with Gimp, it can be accomplished.

Im brand spanking new to Illistrator, andfor my first project decided to re-make my logo for my small minecraft server, since my origional was such poor quality.how to make what I wanted, the problem im having is when I change the size of my grouped image it creates grey lines between the rectangle shapes, There is no gaps, if you zoom in as far as you can they disappear.I exported the image as PNG and they still percist, attatched (Top right finished origional size I made it)
I found out I could "rasterize" my selected content like in video editing "render", I had to do this to "finish" a vector image, any more information on a better workflow.
I've been getting pink or purgle lines bordering certain objects in my photographs. You can see them on the RAW images. When I merge them using HDR you can see how prominent the lines become. I'm not sure if the problem occurs in my camera (Canon T2i) or lens when I take the shot.I've tried using Color Range and the Magic Wand Tool but it is a tedious process.
View 17 Replies View RelatedI want to copy a black and white photo which was printed (old original 'wet' method) on matte paper. When I scan it the scanned image has thin white vertical stripes through all the dark areas of the photo. I have located a method of removing them using Photoshop (using layers etc) but cannot duplicate those 'instructions' using PSP X2.
how I can remove these thin stripes (they make the photo look like everyone one is wearing pin striped clothing).
I am studying for an MSc in Geology and am doing seismic mapping. To tidy up my maps I exported them to ArcGIS so I could join various ones together and also contour the maps. Then I exported the GIS maps into illustrator so I could attempt to smooth some of the contours as they are extremely jaggedy due to the nature of the data.Is there a way to quickly smooth lines or mass delete points that make up the lines?I am asking because I have 30+ maps and each map has maybe 50lines with each line being made up of currently about 1000 points each...
If I can't find a solution I will probably end up drawing over the contours with the pen tool and just smoothing it that way, as it should be a lot faster then deleting so many points.
I am currently using Illustrator CS5 and have access to CS4.
I was just wondering how i add guide lines in photoshop CS4. Say i have a image.psd open that has guide lines already on it, how can I add more guide lines for when I am doing my slices.
