I have two object intersect each other ,when i select one of the object the edges that in the intersect part is hidden! how can i make them visible?
I have this problem in autocad 2012, In autocad 2011 there was no problem.
I use the wp_oEmbed and the edge suite plug-in and in both cases the hidden off-stage elements are visible. This seems to only happen in WordPress. Standard HTML iframe does not have this problem, not does the simple html generated by edge. This seems to happen in all browsers. I even tried inline styling with a div and overflow hidden command.
View 2 Replies View RelatedProblems I'm having with hidden lines being visible in certain viewports and not others.I've dimensioned my drawings in model space, which I prefer, and put the dimensions on a separate layer. However, including that layer in the viewport causes the hidden lines to be visible when plotted. If I turn that layer off, everything works great.
I have dimensions for the same object in plan view that I'm showing in a different viewport that works just great, but in the front elevation viewport it gets all screwy.
I can dimension in paper space just fine.I prefer to dimension in model space whenever possible.
I'm building a platform and have sheet metal on top of a tube frame. When I'm zoomed up closely I only see the sheet metal surface. But when I zoom out further some of the tubes start becoming visible through the sheet metal. This happens in just about every assembly. Parts behind other parts start becoming visible when zooming out far enough.
Is there a way to stop this from happening?
I'm having issues involving hidden lines that should not be hidden lines in the idw environment.
I am using Inventor 2010 suite, 64-bit. I have largish assembly modeled with several sub-assemblies and a few reference assemblies. Some of the reference models are shrinkwraps from other large assemblies (surface type shrinkwrap, link broken), and other reference models are acutal assemblies that I am unable to shrinkwrap because I need the positional reps that they provide.
When I place my parent assembly, with all the normal and reference models included, on an idw, large portions of the reference models do not show up. If I change my line style to show hidden lines, the missing parts show up. At first, I thought that it may be because the reference parts in question were not originally in the view due to the reference data margin, so I started a new sheet and set the margin large enough to show the entire machine, as well as the state of Michigan, before I set the base view, but I still don't get those parts unless I enable hidden lines.
Even at that, Inventor is not behaving consistently. Some of the parts that won't show unless hidden lines enabled are fabricated parts that I or a co-worker modeled, some of the parts were imported from SAT, STEP and IGES files, and some of them are shrinkwrap parts. On top of that, some of the parts will show up normal (without hidden lines shown) if I change the part's BOM structure from reference to normal, while others still will not show unless hidden lines are enabled, regardless of the BOM structure. Keep in mind, none of these parts are hidden behind anything in the model, even with everything visible in my design view rep, so what's causing Inventor to think these parts are hidden.

I am having difficulty with the display of my point numbers and description when plotting. I am doing piping desing and utilizing Civil 3D points for the coardinates and elevations to display in a point table. For my viewport, in the properties dialogue box, under the Shade Plot option, I have selected Legacy Hidden due to needing my pipes to display properly only to have my points not display properly. If I opt for Legacy Wireframe or As Displayed, my points display correctly but my pipes do not. Any clue as to how I can have both display properly?
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy Publish Services panel is enabled and visible, but it is empty. All Publish Services are invisible. However, it seems they are still there, because from a photo I can "Goto Collection" and select the Published Collection that it's in. In grid view, this takes me to the screen where it shows me Published Photos, Modified Photos, etc. But I cannot create new Published Collections.
I am using Lightroom 5.2 64-bit on Windows 7. This problem only arose recently without any known trigger. I've had this problem before but it went away on it's own after I published from a different catalog.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have created a rectangle object with top right and bottom left corners set to 90px. I have an image that goes inside the box in the bottom left corner. The problem is I need the box to act as if it is using "Overflow Hidden" so I can position the image in the corner and have it partially "cut off" to fit the corner but It doesn't seem to be working when I set the overflow to hidden on the rectangle.

On the drawing I was working on, the part completly behind a surface was showing up until I rotated the view, then it dissapeared, this behaviour is not present in the test idw, the part doesnt appear at all behind the surface.

I don't know if I need to create a dynamic block property (or if that can be done), or somehow get this AssocVariable to display on its own.I also noticed that the example for creating a parametric Dimension object, does not set the dimension to the right type of Dynamic dimension. (Play with the Constraint From property in the properties palette, be sure to regen in between).
any way to view invisible block attribute? I created a block and the attributes really don't need to be seen in autocad just there for dataextraction and keeping it all in one location i want to go back through and make sure i have information filled in in all the right invisible attributes without having to open each block and check the attributes, but i don't want them permanently visible (i know i can freeze them or put them on a non plot layer but it clutters up the space when there is 20+ attributes to a block)
View 9 Replies View RelatedIn PS 6 an eraser set at 0% hardness (using a round brush) made a smooth transition from center to edge. Now in PS CC it transitions abruptly at a point near the edge and then goes to a pale grey fade. Why is that? And it's only doing so in dark areeas. Medium and light tones erase smoothly.
Attached are samples of my trying to make it work. This is a transparent layer with the background not visible (all white instead of the standard checkerboard). I should explain the "L" shaped erased part is two brush edges: hard, left; soft, right.
When I extrude/bevel a perfect circle (Illustrator CS6 Mac), there is a defect visible on the edge of the circle. Please see 4 images attached. Is this normal, and is there a fix or workaround?

I have to do this due the final topo looks strange in the borders so I am displaying another contours -that do not have elevation- and make look the drawing better. The problem is that if I turn off the Visible property of the contours, the labels turn off even that they were created in a different layer and attached to a label style with its own layer property.

When we go to plot using legacy hidden (this new for 2012?) the plot comes out with continuous lines. These are not solids. Just ordinary line entities.Now, when I change the shadeplot to "hidden" the linetype is shown correctly, but now my entities are coloured, when I just want my drawing to be black and white (going to PDF), even though all of the colours in the pen style are set to "Black".
Has this changed? Is there a new variable introduced?

in a drawing I made some lines invisible (right-click on the line, and uncheck visibility). how can I make these lines visible again? for obvious reasons I can not right-click on them (they are not visible), and I don't find them in the browser tree.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm drawing objects (walls, platforms, etc.) in 3d made up primarily of extruded polygons. I want to be able to plot these objects in a way that hides all of the lines which are obscured by other objects. Currently I have my viewports set up with a 2D Wireframe visual style and a Hidden shade plot. This isn't working for me. I'm still getting all of the lines in the drawing visible no matter what.
Here's the strange thing: It seems to work perfectly fine in plan view, but not in front view. Also, it's worked fine in the past. It seems that the problem has gotten progressively worse over the past year or so.
I'm using AutoCAD 2008.
Is there a way to make parts invisible directly independent to the selection you made (selection can contain visible, invisible or both parts)?
Most of the time, i make a selection in the model browser and want to put a list of parts directly invisible. Sometimes i also select already invisble parts.
Now what inventor wants to do is make them all first visible before i can make them invisible. As far as i know, there is no other option to do this.
Is there maybe a combination with holding shift or something to directly toggle them invisible?
