Feb 8, 2013I am writing a script for Illustrator. I created a palette with some buttons. I like to keep the palette open while working in Illustrator. The problem is, that the buttons don't work. For example, I have a delete button that should delete my active selection. When I change the Window Type from palette to dialog everything works correctly.

In ACA 2011 this only works for lines/polylines. Plus the wall, door and window palettes are gone. How can I retreave them?

Oct 6, 2011I'm setting up some custom toolbars and that's no problem, but what I'd like to do is have one of the buttons be a toggle, so the icon changes depending on what state it is in. I'm just having a bit of trouble figuring out how I find those buttons programatically from within C#. I've included Autodesk.Autocad.Customization which gives me the Toolbar, Tool bar button, etc classes, but I don't know how to find the existing toolbars from the running session of AutoCAD.

This is the same issue for all of the draworder commands.
If I type draworder in the commande line I can get it to work. How do I restore my tool bar commands to get them to work?

I am able to add it, but when I click on the palette to add it to a drawing, it acts like it's going to work but nothing shows up in the drawing. May 11, 2012I found what I think is a bug in Photoshop CS6. The Pen tool keeps reverting back to the "Exclude" boolean mode every time you select the Pen tool. In previous versions of Photoshop, the boolean mode stayed at whatever mode it was set at when no paths were selected.

May 3, 2011I'm always having to move my tool windows around, out of the way, or close them entirely when trying to see and work with my images.
Wouldn't it be great if we could simply minimize one or more of the tool windows to the bottom of the application screen? Then the tools remain INSIDE the current dimensions of the app, and can be restored to normal size with a keystroke or a click. Shouldn't be too hard to implement.

Jan 16, 2012We use autocad 2011 and we are trying to create a new tool palette. We have no problem dragging and dropping to our existing tool palettes, but we can not drop to anything new we create. We do not have any read/write issues. I have tried saving workspace, restarting CAD just erases the palette i tried to create.

May 1, 2013Quite often when I open drawings or just open AutoCAD my tool palete is there but none of the tools are there to select from? If I reset the tool palette it does the same. AutoCad :: Why Tool Palette Images Are Small
May 2, 2012I have just updated a whole load of block symbols as some numpty didn't put them on layer 0. When i have created a tool palette of the symbols, 4 of approx 30 symbols have got such a tiny tool image, that its impossible to see them, but oddly the rest are fine.
I have checked the blocks are zoomed to extents, checked the drawing limits are the same ones that are okay, and checked that the size of the block is the same, effectively i can not see any difference between the blocks. Even when i increase the image size to max in the tool palette view options the symbol is to small to identify. Oddly in windows explorer and in ACAD design center there is no issue with the tool image size.
Whilst i could manually create a new image, and tell the tool palette to use it, if this happens with all the blocks, it could be time consuming, when there could be a very simple answer i have over looked.

In my tool palette is have some controls. In some systems entire palette is visible completely, but in some systems, the bottom controls in the palette are not visible where the system settings are different. Is there any option to display scroll bar in the tool palette automatically?

Sep 20, 2013It seems unlike previous PC's, when i sart up AutoCAD my new set up reverts the location of the tool palletes to open center to my screen 1 even after i have positioned it on screen two.
I understand the tool palette should hold its location in the position i last placed it.. in screen two. as do you toolbars....

Dec 17, 2010I have created a tool palette with all the blocks that I use on a daily basis. The only thing is that now when I put my cursor on the palette I have no icons just words. When I adjust the size to the palette my icons appear.
My view option is set to text and icons.
