What are the proper setting on windows xp control panel - printers & faxes - printing preferences, in order to be able to plot any size sheet in ACAD LT 2007? We are having to change the preferences in the windows control panel whenever we change from a d size sheet to an e size.

It would be a nice feature to have a control panel in Inventor where you could take certain driven constraints and put them on this control than hit a momentary button to make your model move. Once example would be a hydraulic cylinder. Presently, we drive the cylinder to put things into motion, but I have to access thru browser and usually add symbols to make the constraint stand out (See image). If I had a control panel where I could tie that driven constrain to it and depress a toggle/button which would activate the constrain. I would then have full control and almost act like it would in the real world.
View 5 Replies View RelatedPC, Windows 7, AI CC..I have a document that displays units in points, and when I change the unit type to inches in the preferences panel and the Document Setup panel, the change won't apply.
I've tried saving as a new document, restarting, etc. I even tried setting the units to other units... doesn't matter what I have the units set to in preferences, it's always displaying points.
Is it possible, using Visual Basic.Net to set the "Printing Preferences" for the default printer?I need to change the paper size (A4, A3) and orientaion (Portrait or Landscape) before I send a file to the printer.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having a weird resolution problem with TRUE VIEW and AUTOCAD 2012.
I'm using Windows 7 ultimate 32 bits, i have a graphics card with 1900 x 1200 resolution.
As you can see below, the upper horizontal control pannel appears too big by comparaison with the workplace, and it's resolution is too poor.
The same thing happens with True view 2012.
We installed a new printer. Works fine with all apps except for PS 13.0.4 mac.
I've reinstalled the printer driver ( current driver etc), restarted etc. PS doesn't seem to hold the default paper sizes and will not print to the new printer ( it will print to another printer on same network).
Any prefs specific to printers with Photoshop that I can trash? and hopefully not have to trash all prefs.

im starting up illustrator, and the control panel (at the top) is missing. I tried restoring the essentials layout, restarting the program, and restarting the computer to no avail. the screen resolution is at the highest setting, and the control window is checked.

It seems I can only click on tools or unclick tools but I can't get rid of the Glyphs, Flash Text, Stroke, Gradient, etc. I don't want this middle panel showing. It takes up too much screen space. Googling "Fill color" returned an image of a label 'fill' but my Illustrator CS6 has no such thing. View 1 Replies View RelatedI reset preferences, deactivated then reinstalled PS CS6 and CS6 64bit same issue. If I open PS CS6 (not x64) I can access preferences without a problem. I'm running windows 8 64bit. Everything else in x64 works normally (editing ect). Edit>Preferences>Camera Raw works. Anything else I choose in Preferences and PS freezes and I have to End Task in Task Manager.

Is there a way to change the default increment for the X and Y value boxes in the Transform area of the Control panel? When I have an object selected and want to move the object by clicking the arrows beside the X and Y boxes the object moves 1/8 inch for each click. So i have set up a facial control panel, using blend shapes and driven keys, but i need it to follow my character. If i parent it to the head, i doesn't follow when i grab the skeleton and move the character around, and if i bind it to the neck joint, i am not able to use the control panel, because the movement of the controls are locked, since they're binded to a joint.

I am trying to create a windows form within iLogic. Everything works except the lines defining the location on the controls. I keep getting the following error: 'New' cannot be used on an interface. The error refers to lines in the code that try to set the control location on the form. (i.e. "button1.Location = New Point(10,10)") Ihave pasted the code below and have it attached as well. I am in Inventor 2013.
