An IPN file is showing multiple assembly files in it's browser even though I have confirmed there is only one of the assemblies in the IAM file.
I'm not sure if it's causing any real difficulty in the IDW views but it's not giving me any confidence.
When is the poor, undercared-for part of the software going to get an overhaul?
I have an assembly model which I have `save copy as` to create a new assembly (80% parts the same). I have opened my new assembly and deleted/replaced parts and assemblies that I do not require.
One (released) assembly I have deleted is still showing listed in the vault browser (not in model browser). It is not in the model, is not revealed by `find in window`, is not listed in the bill of materials. If I close my assembly and reopen it is still listed there.
This has now occured in two assemblies. I have never experienced this before in many years of use. We recently upgraded to Inv 2011 and VM Pro 2011 and I'm wondering if there is a connection.
I am having an issue with drawing files. I have set views on assembly files. But on the idw file it is showing wrong views... And this is making problems when i am trying to give dimensions. I have attached jpg files.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI purchased and installed version PSPX4 in Jan. 2012, and started noticing, what appears to be, a duplicate copy of the same file with an Asian type file format in the Recent Doc folder. When I attempt to do a weekly scan of my system for spyware, malware, etc. and weekly clean up of my registry, temp files and other files taking up space, one of my programs finds files listed in the registry under the Recent Doc folder that it cannot clean as the format is not recognized. Even though the properties of the file link the file back to the folder the .jpg file is stored in, there really isn't a file with that format. This is just a reference, and very annoying.

In application data (docs/settings) there are Adobe file browser caches, I know you can delete these without any problems, but what are the files? and do they have any use's (can you use them for anything) and why arn't all the photos that go through PS in there, only some of them.

How do I get the files added to an existing " My Occurrence Folder" rather than creating a new one. Every time I run the code a new folder is created, it does not use the exisitng one
I opened the drawing and then from the drawing opened the model. In the drawing it is showing the 4th instance of ROUND CRS-032175 X 33 as an assembly. It also is not showing in the view and yet the visibility is checked. AI2012 SP2

The code fails at this point and I gett an error pointing to the line "Call oTargetNode.AddChild(oSourceNodeDef)". When I press F1 Inventor opens the help on my default browser (Chrome), but when I click the bynocular it uses Internet Explorer.
Is it possible to force Inventor to use a browser of my choice or the default browser?
Is there a way to rename browser nodes within a part in a similar way that the rename browser nodes tool works in assemblies? I am copying designs with derived parts, after copying the design I can see that the part files contain the correct links to other parts when I open the base component but they display as the old name in the browser which is not ideal.

I've always had problems with getting FG to generate the right part numbers and file names. I have the part numbers figured out, but does Frame Generator still not have a good way to automatically create unique file names for frame members? If no one can get it to automatically generate unique file names, how do you manage all of the duplicate file names generated over time?

Some of the folders have 6 or 8 versions and there is also a duplicate EN-US folder within the EN-US folder with nested folders. So bottom line i have multiple locations and nested files within the content center. Needless to say there is a lot of time spent pointing inventor to the parts necessary to open an assembly.
We are working on a network and are all pointing to the same content center location. We are all using the same project files. Sometimes it works as you would expect, other times not.

in the vault browser is eazy to show the description from each part, search by description etc.
but when ia want to select from inventor, for example i want to replace component from vault or add component from vault. i can't see this description.

I made some changes to our normal template file for inventor and saved it to my hard drive in the public folder. When i open through windows explorer its fine and everything is correct. When i open a new idw and select this file through inventor it comes in with some of the tables having different size text and none of my leaders coming in.

My Project Browser shows only Level 1, Site, and Street. Why do the Levels 2 and 3 not show under and how can I get them to.
I created a text line in my idw template that asks for the filename and path as shown in the attach jpg. it works fine with the first idw but since we use multiple sheets in an idw (no vault here) the text line does not show up on the rest of the sheets. how can i get this to show up on every sheet in my idw?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy external drive(s) aren't showing up in Premiere Pro... and yes, they were working just fine yesterday. The internal drives both show up, but the external drive(s) aren't accessible.
At first I thought that perhaps it was the drive (a new USB 3.0 that worked yesterday)... I tried changing the cable, changing the drive, even changing from a USB 3.0 drive to a FW 800 drive. All show up on my desktop, as well as in other applications (including After Effects, and "other" editing platforms) etc... but none are showing up in Premiere Pro.
FWIW, I tried in both Premiere Pro CC as well as Premiere Pro CS6. I have tried rebooting the computer, creating new projects, holding down the option key while starting Premiere, using Digital Rebellion's CS Repair... all to no avail. Any thoughts?

I linked an excel (2010) file with an inventor (2011) .ipt and none of the parameters are showing inside inventor. I was leaving the file external but I embed it also as a trouble shooting step and nothing still. I have no spaces in excel sheet. Is there something special i need to be doing inside excel or inventor?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded from 12 to x5 and for some reason it looks like Corel has chosen to make the file default to only showing the page as the thumbnail. Whereas before the entire file was displayed in thumbnail. This would work fine as long as you only want to keep your design elements all within the page frame, but I don't know one Corel Designer that does that. (only Word and Publisher users do that because they have to)

- detect and move / change some item (walls, windows, etc.)
I didn't find any javascript library, and the only thing that comes to my mind is to convert dwg/dxf into svg.
How would I test for duplicate handles in a file. If I select a cirlce from an xref and it has a handle of "E6" Then I select another circle from a different xref that has the same handle. When I use GetObjectId how do I specify which handle? Is there a way to give a handle and a file path and have it point to the correct entity or would I need to cycle through all entities and check for matching handle and file name?
In the end I would like to select an object, then store that data in a file and then recall that exact same object later.
When I am browsing to open drawings for some reson the back button doesn't work with the ACA2011 file browser. The mouse button works fine with all other applications so am I correct to assume something is wrong with the ACA file browser?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just recently started seeing something strange in my lightroom 5 library. There are two copies of some of my CR2 files. One copy is the original import, such as flower.cr2. This file has none of my edits, just the import. The second copy is called flower-2.cr2. This file has import and all of my edits.
When I originally edited the flower file, there was only the original. Most of my photos are as they should be, with just one CR2 file that includes the import and all of my edits.what could be going on with my library/catalog?

I coudn't find any module in the ilogic browser that does something similat to duplicating.
I have determined that an AutoCAD drawing has the unfortunate ability to have Annotation Scales "hard coded", meaning they CANNOT be removed from the drawing.
Let me explain....
In a detail drawing file (i.e. my master drawing file where I keep all of our standard details), I was getting duplicate Annotation Scales. I would try to use the SCALELISTEDIT command to try and delete the anno scales not being used, but it would appear they WERE being used. (and resetting the anno scales didn't work either)
I was using a combination of tricks to determine WHICH annotation objects were using the duplicate anno scales. I would set ANNOALLVISIBLE to 0 and set the CANNOSCALE to the duplicate anno style to see where they were being used with no luck
I would then use the QSELECT command to group select each type of annotation object that were annotative, and check to see if they were using the duplicate scales. Again, no luck
THEN, I decided to cut-n-paste each detail one-at-a-time from my master drawing file to a new BLANK drawing with only one annotation scale in it (i.e. 1:1). I would paste a detail, and then enter the SCALELISTEDIT command to see which anno scales "came along for the ride". I pasted a particular detail that carried over the duplicate anno scales, but when I checked all of the annotation objects for the duplicate anno scales - NOTHING! I then deleted that particular detail, purged it, and then I was able to delete the duplicate anno scales. But no matter what I did to try and fix that detail (i.e. wblock, cut-n-paste, save-down, etc) the duplicate anno scales simply will NOT be allowed to be deleted even though i cannot find any objects associated with them.
