In the Multi-Section Creation tool i couldn't find a way to edit or remove Grid Break Labels ,aslo after creation i could Edit it each indvidual Section but not allover all Sections ?
How i can Editit ? also how ican do soin creation And why do i feel that the 2012 is Different from 2010 ?

My first guess was that I had to create an instance object of the class and name it, and then use a "Create" method (e.g., CreateMultipleAtInterval) from there, like this:

However, this doesn't work, as Visual Studio told me "Warning: Access of shared member, constant member, enum member or nested type through an instance; qualifying expression will not be evaluated."
I tried just saying:

But that didn't seem to work either. How this class works and get it to add some contour labels to a drawing?
I have multiple alignments. When I create a section view group I would like a label at the top or bottom that is the alignment name. I cant find this option and I'm certain it exists!

The thing is that Projection tool, labels everything that's a Block, Point, 3d poly ...etc to the sections group.
And it puts all labels in the same layer.

Is it a bug ? I can add data, and I see it onto my section views but I cant view it again in the dialog. In example, I add a profile at 11 m. using markers and i see it. If I come back to the dialog to add or delete data related I see nothing....
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to figure out where to control the section label sets that are attached to the section "entities" when I create multiple section views. It seems to default to 'standard' for all entities sampled. I have created the section label sets that I would like to use for each entity, eg. subgrade, finished grade etc., but don't know where to select it when sections are created. I can get desired results by selecting each entity in a section view individually, but it's very tedious since I will have over a hundred sections views to show with 3 entities sampled each. These sections were created from sample lines across multiple surfaces and not from a corridor. It seems logical that the section label set would be tied to the section style, but I don't think it is. The only thing the section style seems to control is the layer and a name, it's nearly useless.

There are a ton of different constraints that I will not go into. My ultimate need is the ability to establish a feature line or 3d pline from the section view. I know that this is somehow possible via corridors. Im working with just an aligment and cross sections at every 25 feet. Is this possible?

However, if you CTRL+Click and select one of these labels and change the style of that one label, then the manual edits are lost and the label reverts back to the default string.

I am trying to use the Inventor API to customize the text label that appears next to a section cutline in a drawing.
The text in question can be modfied through the Name variable of the SectionDrawingViewType object. However, this approach changes both the name of the SectionDrawingViewType object, as well as the text next to the section line. Is it possible to access just the section line text through the API? Is this text field exposed? Which object type is this text field?
I am finally trying to take advantage of the "fields" in autocad. I created a section label block which has the scale of the detail ( which I have to change manually). I want the scale to change with the viewport scale.

I'd like to customize the way our section marker terminators look. More like an architactual style drawing.
I'd also like to add the sheet number that the section is cut from to the section view label.
As far as I can tell, this propertie is not available for insertion in the view lable. Is there a way to make it available?
The need for these changes come from larger drawing sets were the section is cut on one sheet and shown on another. We'd like to link the sheet numbers in both the section marker terminator and view label.
I have lots of section views with some surfaces and pipes. Unfortunately, in a number of section views pipes are not shown in full height because the section view level range is too little. What I am wondering is - is it possible to automatically adjust section level ranges so that they fully include pipe sections? Please see also the image in the attachment.

When i am creating section sheets from multiple section views ,section sheet view port scale changes.I did set it correctly in my template.
For example it changs from 1:150 to 1:150_1
Then in section sheets scetions views are not displaying correctly.
When i change view port scale manually it shows correctly.But it should do to all sheets.
What should I do?
In model spacr multiple section views are showing correctly.
