I'm need to make a Map Check report on C3D2011, but I don't know how to do it. Since C3D everything have to be setup before it can be use, so my questions are: How do I setup map check? Or What do I need to do get map check report?
i am trying to do a print out of our lots within our proposed plat & need to do indivial closure reports for each lot. when i try an run a report i get Error - Invalid execute file.ive added new .dll files that I got off the net but they do not work either. which are located at C3D 2011/enu/Data/Reports/Net.
I am wondering if there is a way to modify the Map Check Report to include Acreage Calculations like it used to. I am only given the square feet and need both. I know I can calculate it easily, but it would be nice if it were there by default.
When I run the Map Check report in C3D 2010, the Delta angle on curves displays to a tenth of a second, no matter what I do with settings. It should display to the whole second.
Attached is a zip file with the source code I used to modify the Parcel Map Check Report, as discussed HERE. It is essentially the code as provided with C3D2009, modified to reduce the amount of paper required to print them out. There are some other optimizations (allow sorting by columns is one), but this was mostly done a few years ago and I do not recall everything I may have done. Projects included for C3D versions 2010-2012.
I import a survey data (X,Y,Z) in civil3D and make an horizontal alignment near them. I want reference theses survey points to my new alignment by a .txt report (#pts CH. OS elevation). Is it possible?
Setting up my first press parts list and already I'm regretting it...
How do we report material? Lower case letters spelling ductile iron is not acceptable in this office. How to I edit this to be 'DI' or anything else? I have looked in the press part catalog editor or whatever it's called and did not see a way to add to the list of all lower case materials.
Do I have to rely sole on part description for material in labels? ....and why do they still think that no one needs to use the " symbol with these parts? Freakin crashing all morning tring to get this going...
I copied the General Legal Description report and renamed it. When I ran the report, it asked me to save the file Civil.html before opening it. If I run the OOTB report it does not ask me to save the page before opening it. Is this something that I can fix? I have not found a setting anywhere that changes this.
I would like to re-format the way volume reports are displayed, for example I don't need the cut area or reusable volume columns or I'd like to change the Cu.m. dimensional to something like m3.
Is there a way to included the radial bearings of curves for alignment reports generated for the report manager? I know the curves are tangent because I made them so, but the guy checking my report for errors doesn't know that. I don't know any xml.
First prize for me would be to be able to access Parcel boundary vertices via managed dot net.
I could not find the boundary property of the Parcel object.
It looks like developers can access Parcel vertices via COM, in the Loops property of Parcels.
So, it is possible to combine the two to get what I need.
Then I turned to the Report facility. The METESBOUND XSL iterates Parcel segments but provides the distance and bearing instead of the vertices. I was hoping to get to the bottom of the linked code to edit it and produce the vertices output. But - I failed again. Cannot see how the XSL files get to the data needed.
Is there maybe a book or comprehensive reference on the XSL files that provide the reporting function?
Is it possible to create a Slope Stake Report for multiple baselines?. When I generate the report, it only creates a report for the first baseline of the corridor. All of my sample lines are in the same section group, so I'm wondering why it would not create all my sampled stations.
When creating a Corridor Section Points Report using the Toolspace>Toolbox>Reports Manager in Civil 3D 2012, the stations get listed but only a few contain point information (see attached).
I am trying to generate stake-out data for a proposed road. I was able to get this report to work successfully in one of the Civil 3D tutorials, so I assume that nothing is wrong with the utility. The problem may be related to my corridor.
I am trying to export an Alignment PI Station Report. I've set all the settings I can find to round coordinates to 4 decimal places, Distance to 2 decimal places, and Direction to the nearest second (DMS). When I execute the PI Station Report, the Distance is 3 decimal places and the Direction is to the nearest 100th of a second. how to get these to the correct decimal place? I managed to change them to the correct decimal place for a Station & Curve Report, but not for the PI Station Report. Also, for the Northing/Easting coordinates, I want to remove the commas (for example, a Northing of 3,058,715.3774' should read 3058715.3774').
My parcel inverse reports from the Toolbox Report Manager are still coming in with the bearings having decimal seconds to 3 places (N 0-00-00.000 E). I have already changed the variable for angle precision to zero in the "General_Formating_JScript" xsl file but it's still not coming out correctly. Is there any other file that holds an additional angle or bearing precision setting?
I am trying to duplicate a feature line report I did a while ago. It has offsets, elevations, eastings and northings. What I would like is the offsets shown. I am in toolbox, reports manager, corridor, Feature Line Reports. When I create a report I get the list of feature lines which shows point codes which are back_curb,etw,...etc. When I create the file, all I get are the point code such as Back_Curb Left which shows the station, easting, northing and elevation. How do I get those offsets?
I am trying to find where the formatting is for the General Legal Description bearings. I am currently getting an output of NORTH 00° 12' 33" EAST, but would like to eliminate the spaces in the DMS: NORTH 00°12'33" EAST. This is also the case with the delta angle for curves. When I run the Metes and Bounds report, the bearings appear without the spaces. I think that I have changed it before, but I have switched employers since editing the files.
I have no problems labeling parcel lines but am having issue with overall spanning labels. For example, the crows feet are showing at the beginning and end of a subdivision property line but the distance is incorrect. I found that that distance shown correlates back to the parcel segment picked not the overall subdivision property line. How to get the overall span distance to report correctly?
I have created surfaces for my original ground and my corridor. Both have appropriate boundaryies and the TIN looks good for both. I am trying to create a volume report through Volume Dashboard. I am able to create the volume surface with no issues but the numbers it comes up with do not seem correct. I can see from my profile that there is a small fill but the software seems to create a fill that is almost half of all the material when my profile shows there is more cut.
I tried creating a sample line group...it also shows the majority is cut. The only thing I can think is that there are about a dozen areas where my daylight does not work. how to do this volume correctly?
I need to conceive a Incremental Station Elevation Difference Report (Toolspace - Toolbox) where each station is worth 20 meters. But I don't know how to set C3D 2013?
